I've doing some research before implementing ads on some of my apps.. there are many choices out there, I've implement some SDK too.. but finally I choose just using admob only..
Anyway I've try to use inmobi and amazon too altogether with admob in to single apps... yes it works , you can add multiple SDK into single app, but the size of the apps will also getting bigger
There are 2 ways you can implement more than one network in single app.
1) You can put the ads on different places, for example, banner of airpush on top and banner of admob on bottom.
2) You can go for ad mediation provided by admob and mobfox
I hope it will help you

Here are 10 popular advertising networks for you to check.
1. PocketCents. Create and display text, image or video ads directly to the kind of users who are interested in your product or service on the PocketCents Network. Set up a fixed monthly budget per ad, eliminate competitive placement based on bidding and much more with PocketCents. PocketCents features a flat rate of $.25 per click on text or image ad or per play of video ad.
2. Clicksor. A contextual targeting ad network that automatically matches your ads to the most relevant websites in Clicksor’s network. Create text or graphic banner ads, pop-under ads or interstitial ads and pay per click (CPC), per 1,000 impressions (CPM), or per visit (CPV).
3. Mobvista. An ad network based in China with 180 million impressions per day. Solely on mobile platforms like Android and iOS. CPA based, pricing varies and is dependent on size and scope of campaign.
4. Bidvertiser. Advertise across thousands of websites in the Bidvertiser network on a pay-per-click basis. Browse the categorized directory of websites and select the appropriate ones you want to advertise on for your business; set your desired geographic targeting and your pay-per-click bids and your ads are ready to go.
5. Chitika. An ad network that targets your ads directly to interested individual users. Currently, Chitika is only open to advertisers interested in spending a minimum of $50,000 per month.
TribalFusion. Reach the almost 230 million users on Tribal Fusion’s ad network per month with your ads — several advertising package options that can be tailored to suit your business’s needs, pricing varies on package and scope of campaign.
6. AdBrite. One of the largest ad networks outside of the big search engine brand networks — create and target ads to users in the network and pay with variable pricing models including CPC, CPM and other flexible pricing options.
7. Advertising.com. Reach approximately 183 million users monthly on this large alternative advertising network — pricing is depending on campaign.
8. Vibrant. With around 250 million unique users in its network, Vibrant is a great text-based advertising option for ecommerce businesses. Pricing is cost per 1,000 impressions and varies based on available inventory and the category of ad placement.
9. ValueClick Media. Place ads and target users on this network that reaches approximately 173 million unique visitors per month. Pricing dependant on scope and style of ad package.
10. ContextWeb. Target ads to relevant users in this network to get the most value for your dollar spent. Pricing is flexible with a name-your-own price option for cost per 1,000 impressions.

I think #2 ad network after AdMob is AirPush (and no, it's not only annoying push ads now). I've get more cpm in AirPush than in AdMob, and they send you money evey week without pending (admob pends your money for 1 month)

Hey @anugotta. You can use Pollfish. Pollfish lives well along with other ad nwetworks providing minimal intrusion and high payouts. Most of our developers use us along with banner ad networks just to boost their revenue!
Sunnymob
In my opinion, the best advertising sdk providers are Sunnymob, they're high eCPM advertisment. Sunnymob literally acts as a revenue boost.

You could install multiple SDK and use several ad networks.
However I'd recommend you to avoid that and try using an independent mediation provider.
Mediation services aggregates the best demand offers from multiple ad networks, perform an auction between them and put the most profitable ad in your app. The main advantage is that you don’t have to sign up account for each network, set them up, integrate and control how they perform. One of the best examples of this kind of services is Appodeal. Conservative solutions like MoPub may have mediation too, but you should realize that’s not their primary area. Appodeal works only as a mediation network and if doesn’t charge you any comission fees (if makes money when they have their own advertiser who offers more money than any ad network in a certain auction).

Full disclosure, I work with Appodeal, a programmatic mediation solution.
I'd definitely recommend checking us out, especially for adding multiple SDKs, as we offer over 30 integrated advertisers via our platform (including AdMob) and our tech produces higher revenue. Integration is pretty easy.
Happy to send along some demo credentials if you don't want to sign up first, just let me know!
Cheers,
Chris

WhiteMobi offers mobile apps monetization with offerwall ad unit. Android SDK is easy to integrate.
You can offer your users in-app rewards in exchange of completing offers from our offerwall. You'll get paid each time your user completes the offers. This means you earn money on cost per install basis, not cost per impression or clicks.
All the offers are to install and open mobile applications from the official store.

Urban App Competition: 5k prize + int'l press coverage

**Apologies for cross-posting, just trying to spread the word **
Hi everyone!
I am (co)running an international app competition called AppMyCity (search it for website, can't post as new user)
Would anyone here like to apply/know anyone they think should apply/inform me where I could best find more great app developers?
Here is a quick outline of the competition:
The 10 best apps will be passed on to a panel of 10 international judges (incl venture capitalists, angel investors, tech journalists etc) and are likely to be covered by our media partner Guardian Cities.
The 3 selected apps will be invited to do a presentation at the New Cities Summit in Dallas, Texas June 17-19. This event brings together over 800 world leading urban decision makers (including CEO's, mayors, venture capitalists, and academics) as well as over 100 journalists, meaning you will get a LOT of visibility. We pay for your flights and hotel.
Audience at the summit does a live vote, and the winner gets a $5000 cash prize.
Who can apply?
Any app that fulfils the following three requirements:
Be Urban - With a broad focus on improving cities an/or life in cities.
Be Mobile - Available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, or Web-based mobile apps
Be New - Launched AFTER January 1st 2013, and available to the public BEFORE May 5th 2014 (Apps with heavy updates and/or major changes after the January 1st are also eligible)
You can apply via our website, applications close April 18 - the submission form is really short and easy to fill in.
It would be great to have as many people applying, and I honestly think it is a really awesome opportunity for budding app developers.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me (here or via the website). We've also created an FAQ page.

Understanding the Basics of Monetisation

Hi Guys,
I am a developer who has posted three apps to the store, all got featured for a period of time, one in 5 countries.
Ive got all the tracking and reporting SDK's installed, localised to 10 countries and now I am looking to monetise.
I tried a couple of things outside of the app store and were a waste of time (Social media etc)
For Paid apps I was thinking
Paid Reviews through Gummicube
With a weekly burst through Tapjoy -
Tapjoy Questions:
1. For a 99c app what should one pay per CPI? 50c or 1.00?
2. Just run with Mobile and exclude PC
3. Split test a couple of ads for the same region (just like you do on Google Adwords)
4. Best format for Creative, Full Screen Banners or Marketplace ads?
Are there any other decent platforms for CPI for Paid apps? The only other one I can think of is Feature Points.
Now my free versions
Can someone in simple terms explain how this process works, yes I know I must have been living under a rock!
1. My two free versions are in the Utilities Category. Both have 3 IAP's each.
I have Revmob and Chartboost and Flurry SDK loaded up. I only get 1,000 installs per week.
So I have an ad budget of $200-500 per day.
So if I spend 200 per day, how many visitors should I expect and what is the best network or method, there is so many CPC, CPM, CPI.
I can see how the maths stacks up if I buy say 200 x $1 per install per day and then just reply on eCPM from Revmob to get my money back? Then hope to generate IAP for the Lifetime value of user? Is this how this Free game works these days.
I here of people getting $3-8 CPI through Revmob etc, is this really happening.
Happy to scale the $ but from experience with some other 'so called' sure bet marketing idea's like social, which returned $0.
Lots of questions but hopefully a good conversation.
Getting featured was easy in my opinion, monetisation is the more difficult aspect.

Waypedia Review - How I increased my app's downloads

Hello Fellow developers, I hope you're all doing well
I had like 7 apps in google play but only 2 of them were getting organic downlaods,
the other apps they didnt have much downloads, because of the competition in the market, I had to figure out a way to increase my downloads for the other apps so I tried facebook ads to promote my apps it didn't work and it was too damn expensive.
I came across a beautiful website for buying Real 100% legit downloads for my apps, and it's so cheaper than the others!
US installs cost only $0.14 per install. and worldwide installs cost $0.12 per install.
I bought 1000 downloads for 3 apps of mine and they all ranked top 30 for my keywords, Now I am getting organic downloads everyday and making more money with Admob.
I wanted to share my experience with you here in this forum
The website where I bought the downloads from is : waypedia.com
you can Use this code: IRTK5 when you register and you will get 10% more funds in your first deposit.

[Q] How would you spend $100 to increase the user base of a free mobile app?

Let's say if you a small budget, $100 to be exact to promote your new android game. How would you use the budget?
It really depends on the app you have, and what you want to achieve with this.
- you could directly contact people with Instagram or Facebook accounts or Youtube channels related to your niche and ask to write about your app to their audience
- If you want some initial push and user base you could try non-incentivised CPI campaign from AppBrain - you could probably get ~300 - 400 users from tier 1 and tier 2 countries
- you could check out fiverr gigs, but you might not get any downloads this way (or you can get a lot of them probably, if you find the right deal)
- you could contact app review sites and ask for reviews, as most of them will ask for money
Buy a media contact database for one month, and then pitch as many journalists as possible to cover your app.
That's really not too much to do any paid means. If you were to do paid methods, I would probably do a burst of incent, to climb the charts and hopefully get some additional organic installs. Otherwise, with a budget that low, I'd focus on PR, Bloggers, Social Fan Pages, ASO, Organic Sharing/Inviting, etc..
