Tap on "Screen" and tell us how much Screen on time is it. Its not just the % but it should be in the form like x hours xx minutes
Should be something like this

I wonder if the EU version came with this installed or if there will be an update also?

If you look at the picture from bhtale it says 2 hours and 56 minutes and 49% left, sounds almost as the eu version or a little better, bhtale is that after update or not?

The EU version needs this update. I get constant overheating and battery life is very disappointing.

EU version is a mess. Lags not ending, phone heats up quickly WITHOUT benchmarking/camera/gaming. Just Facebook/whatsapp/Browsing.

I'm wondering if there's hardware problems. The 1st phone I got on Friday had lags and heated a lot. On Sunday the screen started flickering badly and I took it back to the CPW and got a replacement. My new one has been fine and generally lag free and doesn't heat up badly.

Need some help URGENTLY !!!
Anyone here can tell me what issue am i having. Currently using a LG G3 f400s, updated to f400s10g. Well in my country the telco i am using is giving me some problem on my LG G3. The telco support lte but when i use on my G3 the data signal seems to be fluctuating, meaning to say suddenly while FB the line cut off, gaming it takes a few time to login (online game), app store takes a few click only can download apps. The same telco sim card using on my M8 doesn't give this problem, only on my G3. Would be helpful if anyone can advice on this issue. Thanks:cyclops:

f400s10g Brazil
Hey guys!
I can install an Brazilian version on my LG G3?
Came from korea f400s10g
Tks

Great update
As of the update I have been getting WAY better performance (also running on ART) better battery, and not only that.......It has no effect on ROOT as i rooted with Super SU by just installing binaries and moved it to system apps and it is still there with no problem. I tried Towelroot on 10A didnt work but if Super SU worked im guessing Towel root will too.
Take care.

so i did get the update and dont know what is going on with the update. i get now horrible low download speed, most of the time the phone is on edge after the update before the update i had the H almost all the time on the same location. this is reason why im posting this from my laptop and not my G2 since it takes minutes to load a thread. so the question is what did it do to my device?

well it sounds to me like you got the opposite of what the OTA was supposed to so, it was to improve the reboots bug and radio updates for better cell reception, the only thing I can think of is backup your data and run a factory reset on your phone and see if that brings things back to normal or improves anything, best of luck.

I'm glad I'm not the same.. I do notice some signal getting worst after the OTA before I was getting FULL bars at home and now its jumping from edge to 2 bar on H..
Anyone noticing horrible battery life after the OTA? I used to be able to go an entire day with normal use and still be around 40-50% when I plugged it in at night, It's been un-plugged for ~ 5 hours today and is already at 46%

Strange, I'm seeing the opposite. Since the update, I'm playing with it more and it seems the battery lasts twice as long.
I haven't even gotten it OTA yet, phone says system is up to date when in fact it isn't. Going to wait a bit longer, if I don't get it I'll install it manually.

still nothing for UK BTU although it sounds like it's getting closer, hopefully, maybe, possibly
this is the first android phone that i've owned where i don't feel it necessary to root it and play around with new roms seeking improvement, however this long delay for release of UK BTU is stretching my patience, especially with the ever present threat of sds

So far battery has been on par with the last update, which means there is still a drain. One thing I have noticed into do a few battery pulls or restarts every time you update so I did my second and it was funny, my battery life pre restart was 95 and post start up was 97. Right now it's at 96. So I'll give it a few days before I report back on battery life. But performance wise is just great. Same as before. Snappy and good.

Oh! ok.. i thought my battery was going crazy coz my note2 showed battery at 77% pre & 79% post restart . I'm on latest stock XXDMB2 (India) rom.
Another funny thing i have discovered is that if i charge the phone for a prolonged duration (i.e continue charging for about an hour after the battery is 100%) then the battery life improves significantly. It gives me as good battery backup as it was on 4.1.1. Charged it full 1 day 17 hrs back and with very light use 78% battery still remaining :victory:. With same settings and similar use it would otherwise be less than 68% remaining. Checked this twice and found the battery backup to be good if i charge it for some time beyond 100% charge. See screenshots below.

I gave up waiting Victor and flashed rom this morning
I'm happier knowing I'm safe, rather that than worry about small loss of battery life ... I'm never that far away from a charger and plug socket anyway

Reasons to update
Good reason to update your Galaxy Note II from Android 4.1.2 : Galaxy Note II vulnerability lets attackers (briefly) access home screen apps (video)

By the way after 24 hours I would say battery life is as good as is copy paste - if not slightly better.

Official OTA Software update V20f - Changes in resolution on the home screen

Hey guys,
I'm one of those lucky guys who received the Lollipop 5.0 OTA update a few weeks ago.
Yesterday I received another update notification, and promptly downloaded the v20f update on my D855 (international). I noticed increased performance and was quite happy about that.
Then, after looking at my homescreen for a while, I noticed something odd. The resolution of the text and icons on my homescreen seems to be quite a bit lower (stock launcher and unrooted, by the way).
At first I thought I was being paranoid, but after comparing it to some older screenshots of my homescreen I was taking, I sure as hell notice a difference in quality and resolution.
I included two sets of pictures in this imgur album, the first one is the old picture (pre v20f update) after the initial 5.0 Lollipop update a few weeks ago. The second one is from today, after the second update (from v20e to v20f I believe).
Here are the screenshots: imgur.com/a/QUIlt (excuse the lack of a link, since I can't post one as a new user)
So guys, see for yourself. Am I being an idiot, or is there without a doubt a change in quality/resolution?
As far as I can tell, only the home screen and app drawer are affected by this, text in pdf files, browser, pictures, etc. are not affected by this.
Thanks for taking the time everyone.
Edit: After looking at the pictures I just noticed that they obviously changed the font! Check the dot of the "i". This clearly has something to do with it, right?
Also, if you zoom into the pictures with text only you can see very different shading and color progression. This is very visible in long vertical lines of the "t", the "f" and the "i".
as long as the performance is improving im a happy user. thanks for sharing. gonna look for a link to download if possible. currently running v20e.

Hey there, thanks for the response.
I did compare the resolution and DPI, both did not change. Its the standard 2560x1440 resolution with a DPI of 640. So those values did in fact not change.
Maybe they turned the over sharpening down.

This was my first thought as well. Sadly, this is not the case. I immediately checked for it and the effect persists - it just looks worse now.
I'm really surprised that nobody else noticed this so far. Is the V20f update that rare yet? Or is this such a minor issue that people don't seem to notice?

I had OTA update to 5.0.1 yesterday. I did full wipe before and after the update twice. Had problem with wi-fi connection. The battery life is much worse than in KitKat, phone is getting hot after some time of using web browser. There is about 3% of battery drop each hour in standby overnight. I'm not happy with this update, I would rather wait for the next one.

Look at the screenshot below... I'm speechless!

Have you installed a ROM or a different Kernel?
So far my record was 9 days, yup, you hear it right 9 days. It was only sms and call use but still I haven't heard about such thing from anyone with any device (ofc android). But mostly I'm charging it once per 5-7 days since I bought nexus 7 2013, so as for anyone who are looking for for durable android phone - jackpot and bullseye in one time.
Oh, don't believe ? Here are screens made just seconds ago -
Click to view 3 screenshots from standby time, on screen and overall.
It says - 9 days left / 3d 19h standby time (last charged) / 42m on screen time. Also there was few calls, few sms and quick web browsing (most of screen on time). So... maybe 10 days these time ?
My Lg g pad supports almost a week with 15-16 of sot
You'll never get rid of it? 5 yrs from now? Yeah, I had a moto g and battery life was good. But I'll take performance and size (nexus 6) over battery life any day. But hey, that's just me.
I get a phone to have fun with, not to see how long I can go without charging.

I've got a OPO but the Moto G is a still a great device to mess around with. but like you say I'd rather have performance over battery (up to a point that is).
Completely stock, just root that I'm using for greenify, that's all. Now it's almost 8 days, 35% still left.

Still not as good as the nokia
I know the Moto G is good, but you guys must never touch your phones.
Let it run to 0% battery and then see if you're singing the same tune
From my observations there is about a 1 in 5 chance of the eMMC being irreparably* bricked if the battery drops to the point of forced shutdown on any Moto G model (2013 or 2014)
*complete partition table loss, requiring the MBM-CI files which are still not available for Lollipop

Google 'moto g 0% battery boot loop'
I've had it happen to 4 devices and counting
There is simply a design flaw, discharge your device a few times and see for yourself.
I used to be satisfied with battery life of my XT1032 when I was on 4.4.4 ... Upgrade to 5.0.2 made it quite worse. :/
