LG G watch offer from 3 (UK) - G3 General

Anybody know how to claim the offer from 3 when you have bought the G3? I didn't get any info when my phone was delivered today.

Yay finally this info is public, I was told about it about a month ago from a certain Three employee that may or may not be featured in the tweet above

I believe the 8th is when the global services for the watch are opened so owning one before then won't get you very far anyway.

I may be wrong, but I believe the offer was only open to anyone who pre-ordered the g3.

in which case show your receipt to a store from the 8th and they will honour the offer

I also did a preorder here on Vodafone spain d855 gold one with lg smartwatch and the lg g3 case for free only 300 units
Hope that i will be lucky . on 9/7i will have it and i will post some pictures here

i went into three this morning and the guy there was adamant that I had to have pre ordered the watch at the same time I pre ordered the G3...

he assures me he has....don't believe him though.
This was the Cannon Street store, and I have also had the same reply from the Holborn store. Canterbury say they will do it, but I can't get there for another week or so.
I phoned 3 myself and they were useless, because I upgraded in store, they tell me they are unable to provide any clarification.

This "promotion" is a joke. I mean, at NO point when i was upgrading did they say that I had to pre-order both at the same time.
Did you have to pay any fee for the remainder of your contract?
This is from the Three website:
"Only £99 When Bought with LG G3*

My contract is only 7 days old! They just said return the phone then.
So I then rang again to the online team and they confirmed and apologized that the other staff haven't got a clue what they are talking about. She told me to go in-store from the with with my receipt to claim my watch

well good luck with that. I tried this also, but he was adamant, even with a receipt and proof of what their website he wasnt doing it.

Ive had this problem went in this morning and refused to accept that this offer exists at all which was rather annoying tbh so i told them to ram it ill buy one online.
They also said that this offer was onky for pre orders and that everyone should of known about it at no point has 3 in my town ever advertised this offer or mentioned it when i got my phone ended up having a huge argument with the store manager telling him is useless and a joke then i showed him my tweets from here that i posted between my self and Brendan and he still refused to acknowledge the offer so i gave up.

I just spoke with "Sharon" at three on the phone. She confirmed that the watch should have been pre-ordered at the time i got the phone.
But, she has applied the £70 difference to my account so i can buy the phone at the full price and be no worse off.
My advice, speak with three, tell them whats happened and they should sort it out.
Good luck, took me a 30 minute phone call to get the resolution i deserved!

What a big let down by htc brand,I was sell my iPhone 3GS to go for new desire HD ,And now they realise day can even 16.10.2010!hm? HTC behave similar to MS Xbox 360. I dunno why HTC can't do better.
Sites have been listing 11th October since the announcement, I don't see the big deal here. Any sites listing for earlier dates were simply wrong weren't they, unless we get any dates past the 11th.

Guyz, very obvious that the release date will be late and please, read the asterisk for conditions applied: The release date can be changed without notification... So don't blame anyone... HTC only said they will release it by October, which means any date in Oct will still be within the time frame they set... isn't it?

I think you will find that they do not take any money until the phone has been despatched. The price is still not fixed! Thats how Handtec operate so im sure the rest are the same. In anycase, handtec stated first shipment due week commencing 4th October - which does not imply the 4th october.
From what i understand, HTC are shipping but to mobile phone networks first.

I've pre ordered mine form Amazon and they don't take any money until its shipped. If you have fallen for another retailers tricks then that's really your problem. Play.com are also listing the 11th (they also dont take the money until they ship).
As for your garbage about supplying in 14 days - they cant supply if they don't have the product. YES if you ordered a Desire and it didn't arrive then you may have a point has the product is on the market - the HD and the Z are PRE ORDERS!!!! I've use Amazon for years and i trust them - i ain't trusting no company that "Claims" they will have it early

Not me. Unlike you, I can read and through experience of living on the bleeding edge of gadgetry, I realise that release dates are never to be banked on.
Show me a link to an "official" HTC press statement claiming the HTC Desire HD would be released on October 6th. Or the 11th. Please - find me one. NOT a review/blog/ethusiast/seller website "claiming" it will be released on October 6th/11th. Show me the "HTC published link" that claims the phone will be released on October 6th.

Handtec took my money as well when I ordered it a week or two ago, however I'm unsure if that has something to do with it being an international order or not. Same has been said from other Australian customers on a different forum I'm on however.
I don't care...the exchange rates been good for us of later and it means I know what I'm paying rather than wondering or stressing about the exchange rate each day.

Dude, please tell me you have pictures? My BB had lots of people out line, but none of them for the XOOM. Do you live in a tech savvy district? I find it odd that anywhere would have a line for the XOOM, but it's encouraging.
I just bee-lined for the mobile department and some cute chick handled my pre-order. I played with a galaxy tab for about two minutes then left.
Heh, what line? I went in at 11:00am-ish and they open at 10am. Went over to wait for help in the celluar area, talked to the salesperson about pre-ordering and then left. I asked and they said I was the first person even to ask about pre-ordering.

That's what I get for skimming the post
The BB's in MA don't open until 11:00 on Sundays (vestiges of the old Blue Laws). I got to the store at 10:45. There were a dozen or so cars in the parking lot with people waiting, as no one wanted to stand outside in the cold (20* F) and wind. They opened the doors right at 11:00 and I was the first one in the store. I walked right over to the mobile counter and asked about the pre-order. They pulled a spiral notebook out of the locked cabinet behind them which had the pre-order info in it (for the Xoom and Thunderbolt), scanned the bar code on it and filled in my info on the first page, then rung up the pre-order with the $50 gift card. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and none of the other people waiting were there for the Xoom.
I did find it interesting that not all BB's were doing pre-orders for the Xoom. I called 3 last night, and 2 out of the 3 were doing pre-orders.
BB in my area was a joke
Only myself and one other person were there at open yesterday to pre-order. Both of us were told they were not doing pre-orders for the xoom. I laughed and said its on your website so look it up. 10 min later they found it and placed our orders. Considering we all know this was in their play book, they had training and this is usually a good best buy I was disappointed by their stupidity. In the end its ordered so as long as it comes in and I get a call on Thursday I will be happy.
I just returned from Best Buy (Knoxville, TN), worked yesterday so I didn't have time to stop by. The person at the Mobile center wasn't sure they were taking pre-orders, she had to ask a couple of people. Funny thing is when she got confirmation she knew exactly where to go in their little folder of pre-order forms, flipped right to the XOOM and pulled one out. Based on what I saw there was only one other pre-order from this location. All in all, quick and painless.
I just left Best Buy in Miami, FL and tried to inquire about pre ordering the xoom, and also to check if I could use a 10% coupon. I went to the mobile section and asked a girl about the xoom and she gave me a "deer caught in the headlights" look. She said, "oh, you mean the iPad thingy?" I said, "please don't call it an iPad." She checked with another of the associates and sent me to the computer section. I just decided to leave ASAP. I'll try another Best Buy later.

No matter where I have worked, I learned as much as I could. It bothered me in my first week at a new job, having to ask for help, how can these people go years oblivious.
I went to the bestbuy in georgia..at about 10:45 there were maybe 10-15 people there.When the doors opened I thought for sure everyone was headed for the Xoom..but it turned out that none of them went near the mobile center.I was the only & 1st person to pre-order the Xoom.

Same here 12:20 and I was the first one pre order. Its funny though cuz the sales rep I spoke to didn't even know what it was. She thought it was a phone. But I said its not a phone. Then she looked into the inventory then asked me is it a tablet? I was satisfied finally she got what I was asking for. I kept waiting for another 20 mins while she trying to look for where to do pre order. As long as I got my xoom im happy.

I stood in line at the mobile center for maybe 15 minutes while people got their phones replaced, wireless modem cards fixed, etc. When I asked about the Xoom, he asked me to follow him to the magnolia room and did the pre-order back there. Never had that happen before. No idea how many people ultimately pre-ordered in our store.
i walked in today around 3pm and asked about it. the staff said that the preorder guaranteed a unit if they shipped to that store, not that they (the store) were guaranteed units in the first place.
no thanks bb...... ill chance a direct buy from vzw or or costco....

Well lets wait until motorola out the number of xoom sold then we'll all know, at least nationwide not one store particularly. But best buy site says xoom pre order is now on back order. Wondering if they really just sold their whole stock ones on day one.

That is always the deal on pre-orders. The date is subject to change and they often don't know how many they will get if any.
i agree, but preorder to me says i will definitely get a unit on release date, not that i will get one if they ship. the least bb as a corp could do is say yes this store will get a delivery of units. but i guess in this day and age of advanced supply and management systems a store cant tell if they are going to get them.
if i preorder and the store says sorry we did not get any, i would run my complaint as far up as i could go.

I'm gonna be pretty pissed if my store doesn't get at least 2 units (I was #2) - They shouldn't advertise you can pick up the unit in that store on the 24th if you aren't guaranteed it.

It is possible to activate the 3G with another carrier? or it's blocked to Verizon ? like here, in Canada..

GS3 in AT&T Stores

I have looked around and haven't really found a thread on this, so I wanted to start one.
Can people who have been to their local AT&T stores report what the sales reps are telling you about GS3 availability?
My local stores are now saying they will be in stock on Monday, June 25th. Is this consistent with what anyone else has been told? Has anyone actually gone into an AT&T store and found that they did in fact get them in stock today?
Please report your findings.
the ultimate insult for pre-order geeks like myself would be to be able to walk in a store and buy a phone off the shelf that millions of people who pre-ordered are still waiting for.....that would be a PR nightmare no matter what carrier you are on
if I were PR for any of them I would tell all the stores to keep them "on backorder status" until the majority or all pre-orders are fulfilled

i have talked with three at&t's stores here in houston..........
all of them had said, the 28th....and that they were getting 2 order/shipments....one for pre-orders and one for instore(first come first serve)
I was in my local AT&T store today because the sim card sent with my phone wasn't LTE so they swapped it out. They had no idea when the phones were coming in but they had just got cases while I was there.

Went to my local store twice in the last week and called another. My store told me that it was going to be available in store on 20th June. On 20th I was told that they have no idea when its coming and check back on 24th. One store that I called told me that they had no idea because there is no form official communication from AT&T. Both stores didn't even have display models.
I understand that people who pre-ordered feel entitled to have the phone before anyone else , but there have been plenty of launches where people got their preordered phones after the launch date. Preordering doesn't put you first in line, it guarantees you a device... Ugh... Get ourselves.

but if there is enough stock to "launch", assuming you mean phones in stores for walk in buyers, there was enough phones to fulfill preorders, which came first...
I have checked my local store several times and was told the official release date would be June 28..
And would not sell me one until then....

I had mine for a couple days. But its the same here where no one is selling it. Out of all the places I went only one even had a couple cases. Good luck getting it. The GS3 is one of my favorite devices. And is worth getting for sure.

T-Mobile contract pre-orders (UK)

I think that's specific enough - I'm kicking myself for this but I've got just as excited as everyone else about what is just another phone, techgasm indeed. However, now it's happened I'm going to embrace it.
Anyone heard anything from T-Mobile yet? I ordered mine on 22nd Feb, I've been receiving annoying weekly txts ever since telling me they haven't forgotten me, including one yesterday, I phoned 150 to ask when it was coming and they said shipping on the 16th. That strikes me as codswallop, no-one does anything on the weekend, and the phone call was so vague "Nothing on your record to say there are any delays" but no real info.
Anyone? Anything? Entitlement much?
And I'm even talking to myself - So the T-Mobile site has gone down, and there is no facility to have an online chat with someone (phone chat is utterly pointless). T-Mobile are WORSE THAN HITLER (unless it arrives today)
I think guys tmobile won't be delivering anything until 29th as no news of stock news available.
P4U do have upgrade stock ready for dispatch today.

Welcome to my world.
There is only one reason & one reason alone that I am with T-Mobile & that is my fnf discount. If it was not for that I would have left them years ago.
When the phone went live on there website I called them to order the phone. After going through the plans I was told I could not order the phone !! Eventually I was allowed to order the phone on 1st March but only after being told I had to switch to ee to keep my discount ( nice try ).
So I have been trawlling T Mobile's social meadia & they are so full of it.
Anyway I got a message yesterday via the HTC facebook page that they were shipping phones to T-Mobile today. So I guess once they have put there logo & crappy software on the phone then you will get it.
Right, well I just got off the phone again because my last conversation wasn't in the least bit convincing but this time at least the chap was certain, T-Mobile don't have any in stock and won't have until the end of the month (it'll "definitely" be in my hand by the 1st April but that date is highly auspicious considering events thus far).
On the plus side he did credit my account with a £20 "good will" credit as I've been waiting so long. You might as well get onto them, see how many different answers we get and who gets the best goodwill handout.

They have been rubbish!
I've been told twice on the phone i'll get mine next week - this morning they said monday - but seemed vague.....if I don't get it monday I will probably leave t-mobile...
I aso wonder what EE are doing to our phones that means w get them later than everyone else....

I've literally just got off the phone to t-mobile and I've been told that they are out of stock of the HTC One.
I was also told that my HTC One was sold to me on Saturday when they did have stock and delivery is confirmed for the 19th, which is tomorrow.

I just called them.....got completely different story to you....
I've now been told they are expecting the stock NEXT week! After telling me several times that I would be getting my phone this week......and they took the money 2 weeks ago when I ordered......
I was offered no cash incentive for the delay or offer to refund the cost of the handset like others have had......i'm looking for a deal elsewhere me thinks!

I was just told no idea! If it wasn't for my discount I would be dealing with p4u right now due to there shipping connections I think they are the safest bet!

I called back, got through to a Scottish call handler who put me through to Customer Connect for a tracking number.
No tracking number because no stock in the warehouse.
An entry onto the computer system's Inappropriate Call Log has been made about the fact that I was lied to.
I'm escalating the matter for a discount/compo.

Same - I am getting a good deal......but think it might be worth trying elsewhere....problem is I won't get such a good 18 month deal - really don't want 2 year contract.
I just wish they would be straight with us and tell us whats going on - you can tell when you call that they are fed up with us calling - i spoke to an Australian guy that I spoke to 2 weeks ago - he just keep saying things like we should be getting it next week or whatever - the really should know!

Saying that I did send an email to the "T-Mobile" hierarchy on Saturday detailing all the issues I have been getting in relation to this upgrade and I actually got a response yesterday say that they are looking into this.

Meizusale.com is not fake! OP had me extremely worried, as I could not get any response from their web site or tracking either. I pre-ordered MX5 on July 3rd. My phone arrived yesterday even though they said on order that it would ship first week of August. Now I will be busy with new phone!

Was this actually purchased from Meizusale.com? I have recently purchased an MX5 from them, wasn't able to get a response from them for a week, only today, have successfully contacted them, saying that it is stuck in China customs due to it being National day golden week holiday which is true and will take another 10 - 13 days for me to be able to track my order as it needs to reach the Netherlands. How long did your phone take?

My order came in and is in no way a fake site, the order did take a while but it got here so don't worry about it being fake. Especially as you paid with Paypal you should have no problems.

That's no problem at all! It is difficult. I got very worried when I emailed them, never got a response and their 24/7 customer support was hardly ever on and decided to look it up, with a lot claiming it was fake. As stated, I have received it and it's one of the best phones I've had and well worth the money!

Hi, there's nothing to be worried about. The phone took about 3 - 4 weeks and once the package reaches the netherlands from there it can be tracked but that in it's self can take a week or 2 to get to the netherlands. The quality and condition are exactly as you'd get in a store, new condition. Meizusale.com communication isn't too fantastic which is what worried me, but the phone did arrive and is well worth the money!

Hey I just realized I didnt share my experience with my purchase. Well the phone did arrive and it was exactly as advertised. Took some time definitely as I too opted for the free shipping and it eventually got held at customs but other than that the seller is OK. Certainly dont expect swift responses from them, but they deliver.
As far as the Meizu MX5 itself is concerned, I guess I was one of the unlucky ones who got a buggy phone, as after the 2nd month of usage it started randomly to shutdown once the battery drops below 50%... and nothing seems to fix it (restoring, flashing different firmware etc)
So do have this in mind when purchasing

Hey Akio, did your Phone arrived?
I ordered a phone too, 20 days and nothing, no order, no email confirming purchase, just a tracking number with zero info on the said package. I just checked, tracking number still offline or with no info.

The very bad store they send broken phones, and then you need to send this phones for warranty and paid for fixing and shipping. Terrible service.
