[Bugs]What kind of bugs you have on stock Sense 6 - One (M7) General

What kind of bugs you have on stock Sense 6 and some fixes if someone has one.
So far after 1 day of ussage i noticed some bugs:
1.Sound is mutted if you move the phone when it ring.
2.If u try to pull down the notification for a mesage/missed call the weather in lockscreen is expanding and u cannot acces via "drag and open".
3.The volume is increasing randomly.
If you have spotted any othe bugs feel free to ad to list .

agree with point 1 and 3, and I found that the pressing of back button during incoming call will mute sound and vibrate, I think it is a bug rather then a "feature". Very annoying!

I was actually going to start a similar thread so thanks for getting the ball rolling.
I haven't noticed any of the issues you listed. My issues are primarily GUI related.
1) in top portion of the caller ID and call log windows, the contact's image is covered up by the Tab swipe views control.
2) the spacing between the icons and the dock are messed up on the home screen
3) dock visible on the blinkfeed page
I have somewhat remedied these issues using xposed and the Sense 6 toolkit but it's still not quite right.
EDIT> This isn't a bug per say but it is very annoying. Every time I make a call through my car's bluetooth my phone now prompts me to choose an output device (handset, speakerphone, or car bluetooth). It defaults it to handset speakers so I have to select car bluetooth which is annoying because I'm trying to operate hands-free. The worst part is that it asks the question every time and doesn't remember my last preference.

1 - This is not a bug, if you look there is a sound option that is on by default - Quiet Ring On Pickup

I think most likely it is cause by mis-pressing of back button during ringing. finally I have to disable the hardware button and turn on the softly in order to prevent this issue. hope can improve in next update....

1 i not have that bug, use full reset include delete photos, music, than if you not rooted wipe cache.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Another one I noticed is that extreme power saving mode doesn't work.
In fact it loses more power in that mode than usual.

Every time i received or i send a message, there's always a triangle with an exclamation point in the middle appearing in the status bar for maybe 0.5 millisecond. I can live with it but it's a little annoying sometimes
Second is that the rotation from landscape to portrait sometimes are not smooth, it lags for some millisecond before it reaches it's full rotation..
Battery is worse than sense 5.5

+1 to this.
Also, the dialer sucks. There's a lag while opening it which was almost instant in previous versions.

In Music app While Scrolling to album art to Visualization for a moment music offs and app freezes

Phone-likeness of TyTN?

Gday TyTN folk.
I have an iMate PDA2k and am thinking of moving to TyTN, but being a bit frustrated with my current unit I'd like to know whether TyTN makes a better phone than BA does.
My specific botherments are:
- notification light (green/red/orange) where the functions over-ride each other. e.g. if I miss a call while its charging, it starts flashing red, but then it completes charging and goes green. Actually, even if it's not charging it seems to stop flashing red after a while. I want it to keep flashing red until I actually handle the device and should have noticed.
To me it makes more sense to combine the bluetooth light with the charge light, and leave the phone notification as a separate item.
- notification icon space in start bar. Currently it's ALWAYS showing a multi-message bubble icon (I'm always in CDMA 1x coverage, and also have an app running that puts its own notification icon up) so I don't see a new one for SMS or voice message. It looks like the best answer might actually be a 3rd party start-bar app, but still.. is it any better under WM5?
- waking up. Incoming calls, messages, and bluetooth connections, wake up the device completely. If it's in the pouch, or worse, in my pocket, the screen then gets bumped, thereby performing actions I don't want to. Even getting it out of my pocket without bumping the screen is a challenge. I tried setting an unlock password (some time ago) but that wasn't satisfactory; I don't remember whether the screen still unlocked on incoming calls, or if unlocking was too much a nuisance.
Ideally, it should wake up enough so that the firm hardware buttons are unlocked but the screen isn't active until you've used a button.
The voice-recording button used to annoy me with accidental presses when removing from pouch; I changed that button to do screen rotate which I find more useful, and no big deal when pushed accidentally - just push it again.
- Sound quality, especially for the person on the other end of a call. I've had people tell me I'm faint on the iMate. Positioning is a little interesting as I don't really want to rub my face all over the screen. Does the TyTN pick up any better?
- turning the phone off. (Like Windows' contradictory "click start to shut down") I really don't like the fiddly actions required to "turn on flight mode" on pda2k, especially when I don't want to get out the stylus. People with normal mobile phones can turn them completely off using one hardware button, and they don't have to look hard to see whether it's on or off. Some have mentioned wanting an easy way to switch to/from silent mode.
Is there a quick, sensible, easy way to turn the phone on and off, preferably also to/from silent?
Thanks

First a corresponding icon (envelope, phone), after more notifications, you get a bubble (?). Not a bubble all the time.

One hardware button for standby, hold it to turn the device off completely. You get a window where you can just hit the d-pad button.
There's also a button for comm-manager, there you can select silent/vibrate mode and flight mode.
Hi, you speak of not wanting to rub your face on the screen, I actually use my TyTN in speaker phone mode to prevent this, I just quickly enable speaker on a call, and flip the phone to where the back is by my face, it puts the speaker in a good spot also, I know it sounds a bit weird, bit works pretty well.
Granted I don't do this with every call, mostly I use it when I know the call is gonna last for more than a few minutes.

You're right about the notification icon, but if I was watching the screen at the time of the additional notify then I'd already know what's there and wouldn't need the icon. On the pda2k cdma, being in a 1x coverage area generates a notification, plus mNotes puts one, so there's a bubble even before I receive any sms, voicemail etc. Combine that with the behaviour of the flashing light, it means if I missed something I may not know about it unless I go looking.
Thanks re the hardware button, that's good news.

Creative! I'll remember that one..
Sounds like you should check out PhoneAlarm

A Few questions about the phone part

1. I read that when a call is coming in and you turn it face down, it should mute the ringing. Doesnt happen here, how do you enable it?
2. When someone is calling me and i press the Mute Ring button, it doesnt mute the device or stop the vibration. Any ideas on this?
3. When i slide to ignore, it displays the call as missed, while it's not, i chose to ignore it, any way to fix that?
4. The phone part seems very slow, when dialed first the active call icon pops up then after some time the answer/ignore part comes up then again you wait some time until the ringing/vibration starts and when you answer it it takes a while for the vibration to stop. Also when the person calling hangs up, it continues to ring/vibrate for a while. Gotta say, that's the most annoying part, otherwise i love the phone...
Seems like you have an unwanted caller eh

Heh... no, simply testing and being disappointed
The phone program is by far the worst in WinMo imo, like everything else.
#1. if the phone is face down it will not mute; if it is face up and you turn it face down it will mute. it's not instant for me; takes about 2 seconds.
#2 is working for me; ringing and vibrating stops about 1 second after button press. not experiencing the other issue
#3 This (as i understand it) is expected behavior.
#4 i guess slow is relative to past experiences, in my case it's behaving as i expect it to.

Incoming call screen changes

I have the Verizon G2 and just wondering if anyone else notices the incoming call screen changes. Sometimes I have the screen where the answer/decline buttons are circles and require a slide but other times I have an answer screen with big squares for answer/decline and require a press.
I can not figure out the reasoning why this screen changes formats. I just had 2 calls from the same person and each call was different.
When I'm in a call and get a 2nd call, it normally the big squares. What sucks is that when talking and the phone is on my cheek, the 2nd call comes in, turns on the display and with the huge buttons, I've answered and declined a few calls with my cheek.
I also notice with the latest update that the screen is turning on more often and my face starts hitting buttons. Mostly the clock from the statusbar notification shade, go into time settings and messes up my time. Usually I find my clock in 24hr mode. Today it was 2hours off.
I'm not sure if notifications coming in while on a call is turning the screen on or if the sensor is getting whacky. Its getting to the point where it is becoming annoying so I'm posting about it.
Anyone else notice the dual answer screen formats and having issues with being on calls and the screen turning on? I've been having to hit the power button to force the screen from coming on and launching stuff or toggling my notification stuff.

I have the exact same problem. I actually factory reset the phone to no avail. It's weird absolutely. But I've learned to live with it by not pressing the whole phone on my cheek, instead it's held at a slight angle, just the top speaker on my ear and the rest away from my face. The phone gets less dirty and there's no chance I'll press some things with my face.
I've found that if you manually turn the phone off via power button, it'll stay off. The problem is then ending the call since pulling it away won't turn on the screen.
However I am still curious about the Incoming Call screen theme. Sometimes it uses the small Circles that you click and drag while other calls use the big square button theme. It flip flops randomly.
I can't remember if the Incoming call screen would flip flop before but the screen on/off bug was introduced in 4.4.2

Bug or feature?

Hello,
I'm using omnirom on my Nexus 5 (5.1.1 nightlies) for about a month and I found some things where I can't say if its a bug or a feature:
1. I'm using bluetooth in my car to play music from my nexus 5. My bluetooth system has a key to play/pause and skip a track. Everytime when I skip to the next track, the display gets active and stays active for the setted display timeout. I couldn't find any setting where to disable this "feature". Before I was on stock and didn't have that problem, it causes high battery drain.
2. If you're in e.g. Whatsapp and press the power button to get your device into standby, the app remains in background and is still active. I cant explain exactly, normally (on stock) when you get in that situation a message, the normal notification sound would be hearable, but here its only the in app notification sound. So it seems that the app isn't in standby and thinks you're looking at your phone. This happens also in Threema, which is not good because you don't recognize when you get a new message. I hope you understand what I mean.
3. When you're in such a messaging app and you get a message, the notification stays in the notification center until you swipe it away or touch on it, so it does not detect wether being in the app in the correct chat or not, it shows it independently.
Otherwise I have no problems, really nice rom!

S7E software problems or lag?

Anyone else having any glitches, lag, strange behavior, etc. I don't know if it's just me but my s6e+ seemed to run a little smoother on LP than new s7e on MM.
issues I have with mine:
After reboot the keypad for entering pin has input lag and sometimes erases
The notification bar will open blank when I have notification and then close and re open with notifications, sometimes it will open and phone will freeze for 3-4 seconds
If I am listening to music over Bluetooth in my car and I compose a text message and attach a picture, it cuts off my music and I have to press play again.
Hopefully we get another OTA soon that fixes some of this. Anybody else having issues?
keypad lag after reboot might had to do with system still loading; if i immediately enter pin after reboot, it lags like no tomorrow, but if i let it sit for a minute or so, everything is smoother, but still not as smooth as normal
notification bar issue happened to me once, but thats after an app crashed; it went away after i force closed the misbehaving app from usage manager
it also randomly cut off my music, but i even have it happened when my screen is off, but only on wired headset, never on my BT headphone
It doesn't like my left thumbprint only my right even though I've redone it once already.
Sometimes if I am trying to type it randomly goes to the lockscreen and I have to unlock my device again.
I can test the bluetooth MMS issue (if I remember) later.
Also the Do Not Disturb settings do not work whatsoever, I have to manually turn it on and off from the quick settings bar.
I almost wish I'd waited for the G5 to drop this week...
The g5 doesn't really appeal to me, now the m10 is looking nice but I'm overall satisfied for now. I think/hope after the next ota all the bugs are worked out. I really should've held on to s6e+ until note 6 but the sd card and water resistance got me lol
