Oh man.. u must be using wrong file or wrong methods.
have u tried to flash stock firmware for ur device?

If this was S2, there's a name that we called "bricked" and from the screenshot, it should be categorized as a "bricked" device and the only way to repair it was using usb jig or jtag when i was on my s2. But i don't know now maybe there's another new method available. I don't know this also occur on our note 3. Just keep finding the solution. Try flashing to stock firmware using odin. Can you enter download mode or is it detectable?

Hi push the power button during few seconds
The phone will revoit. After go into download mod and flash à stock rom via odin pc

Hi guys,
I've just bought a galaxy s bout a month ago in sg. I got to the part where connection is detected but when i start my upgrading fw... At the part where its downloading binary thats where the problem comes in. I kept on getting unknown error. Nearly 2 hrs of trying i reset my phone. And now it cant even detect my phone.....
Desperately need help....

You can contact Samsung for Kies support or if you feel comfortable just flash full package with Odin.

Dear bro, what did you use to upgrade your fw? Odin or Kies?
Can you use the 3 button to go to download mode? If you can, find a firmware to flash it with odin.

welcome to my word of 1 week ago.. got my phone now 2 weeks
Updating trhough Kies worked normally for me. Maybe uninstall the drivers en reinstall. Update kies and retry? What error does it give?
You are better of flashing from Android 2.1 to other ROM's because it has Recovery 2e instead of the Recovery 3e.
I am running Darky's ROM and I love it ^^ still minor bugs but the 2.1 and 2.2 are even worse xD

Ahhh, I see. The problem is downloading process of the firmware, not during the flashing process. This means that the [email protected] Samsung is not working, probably sure to lost connection.
Try it another day perhaps.

This sounds like a driver issue if it cant' detect your phone, try another usb port and uninstall/reinstall kies, once the install is good make sure it says connected to kies on your phone, if not then look in your device manager and make sure all the drivers are installed. I've heard of people having issues with windows 7 64 bit.

But its different from what i saw on youtube... Now i cant dismount my internal sd card, its lagging, plus i cant open my built in fb sw...

Strange... JPA is Froyo, but i would have thought JPO would be the one you recieved (unless im mistaken?).
Do you feel confident enough to root and rom your device?
If i root my device i'm afraid tjat the warranty would be void... I saw thay jp is froyo and the letter that follows is regional... Not quite sure bout that... In Singapore n msia we are having jpa...

It's possible Fox Hound hasn't worked properly for your device, try flashing back to Stock then trying FH again see if it works.

Hi, is There any chance to install new modems without odin? I have a mac computer so I cant Flash via odin. I have tried heimdall and kies, none of them works because my Phone wont respond in the computer. Tried even With Googles file transfer.
The thing is that im a bit selective so I only found one rom that fits me, vision x II. Everything works perfect but i cant activate or use wifi. I really need my wifi cuz i have no signal at my Damn concrete apartment!

You can try do a FACTORY RESET:
- Make a Internal Memory backup
- From your home screen press the apps icon in the lower right corner.
- Find and press the settings icon.
- In the upper end of the screen press the accounts tab.
- In the bottom of the next screen press the Backup and reset button.
- Press the factory data reset.
- Read the info on your cell phone screen and hit Reset device.

If you flash any modem , make.sure it is compatible with the firmware version otherwise you will hard break you device!!.
One more thing ,,the moment you flash it ...your device will reboot to download mode , then in this point you have to hold the power button for few second till it turn off . After that turn it on , the Samsung logo will show up ....and it may take time untill it move to the mobile odin mode ,,,, just wait for the process...dont ever turn it off again otherwise you may soft break your device
Also mobile odin only work in stock kernel otherwise it will not detect your device . Thats why it won't run in custom rom that only run in its custom kernel like cm or what ever rom ... this is the disadvantage
But the advantage is that.. it will never trigger the flash counter .

Hye guys, I bought note 2 from malaysia. Been using it more than 3 month then my phone constantly freeze and one day, it brick overnight while I leave it to charge. When it turned on it just stuck on samsung logo. Hard reset is undoable as it only show "Downloading" in the recovery while in download mode it just as it is. My phone is completely stock, no root ,no flash ,nothing, just stock. So I try to flash through odin but it always fail with "no pit partition" no matter what firmware version I use, another usb port ,another computer is brought up the same result. The phone can charge fine with red light indicator and battery animation. Does anyone with the phone have the same symptom and manage to fix it?Im in uk and cant rma as my phone is malaysia only warranty from SME?

it sounds like your emmc brick... if that is the case, in my knowledge u have to change the motherboard... but maybe other members have different idea to solve your prob...

Hi,
I try to root my note 2 N7100XXUFND4 using Odin v3.09. I follow all the instructions but my phone still not root ( I checked using root checker and I got this popup said superuser stop working). I'm a newbie can someone show me how to root my phone.

Yes because it's really a bad situation , i need my phone to be fonctionnal as soon as possible , nevermind. I used Kies and the recovery mode , now it's downloading the files i hope it works.
