[Q] Kernel for galaxy y gt-s5360 - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

I have been using galaxy y for 3 years and have been running custom roms and kernels. What i hv noticed so far in the kernels i hv tried for stock roms(Kuro, black reactor, percy's GNU) they all have random reboots once a day atleast.
So pls can anyone suggest a kernel available in our forum having following features and minimal/zero random reboots.
1) Droidwall
2) Link2sd
3) Deep sleep
4) Smartassv2 governor
When i was using miui v3 based on Cm7 RC4, at dat tym d kernel i was using was Cm v4 by broadcomCM team and that was a perfect kernel fr my needs but nw i am using a non-CM rom and i am afraid that CM kernels dont work with stock based roms.
Anyone having knowlegde abt any such kernel pls help me out in this.

Best kernels/rom threads are not allowed on xda
They all have them features or you can read the features on the op
Find what works best for you

I didnt ask fr best kernel if u read the thread properly. Ya i knw that kernel threads list the features but dnt mention whether there are random reboot problems or not. Thats why i created this thread to knw d experience of other users whether they use any kernel which doesnt have random reboot problems.

There are so many variables it will be impossible to tell - anything can cause a bootloop and it may not be related to kernel at all or it maybe because you are a script that conflicts with something else
Asking for bug free kernels or bug free roms is also against the rules the same as best threads
The only way to find out what works best for you with all your settings and the way you run things and use your phone is to test things out yourself
If you get a bootloop logcat it - its the only way to find out what caused it and how to solve it

Help with hype!!

Im running hyperion rom with savie #1 kernel.
I wanted to know if i could use smoking hal tweaks with this rom. The dev of smoking hal stated that all tweaks in init.d has to be removed. But i really like hyperion core tools. So if i flash this tweak will it conflict with the other scripts and adrenaline engine??
Also how to install merruks kernel, the one which had the capacity to overclock to 1 ghz+??
Will kak+v6 conflict with adrenaline engine??

Just try to your experiment and share here with your experience bro, and i suggest to you before flashing the script, have make a backup first for safemodding
And, installing merruk kernel, i see any member has share how to, use search form to find your fix
And i think you can use method mai77 for installing merruk.
Sent Using My Hands with GT-S5360
Mai77 method does not work with mt deleux!! Tried it many times!! And ive tried using cwm restore but it does not flash the kernel!! It shows that it erases the boot but it doesnt!!

not worth installing it, latest stock ROM is faster compared to it, also its not stable, overheats easly and you can get random FCs - reboots, i'd recommend using latest stock kernel.
your phone will generate more heat on 1.248 mhz, so you'll get low performance compared to stock 1.000 mhz CPUs and it will reduce your battery - CPU life.
If you still want init.d and other kind of stuff custom kernels has to offer, try hellfusion #50, its the fastest custom kernel in my opinion, though i didn't test any custom kernels in last 2 months

Read again, try hellfusion #50, I could play jetpack joyride without any lag, except when game switches between textures (thats kind of due to RAM bottleneck)
Hellfusion #50 Kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1891682&highlight=hellfusion
And also keep in mind no kernel is good without tweaks, I'd recommend fly on mod and v6 supercharger [do not use fly on mod ram manager while v6 supercharger ram fixes are active]
You should also try defferent governors and I/O schedulers, I used antutu benchmark to test results with different I/O - governor combinations. Some of the kernels give low performance on smartassv2, while others give the best performance the kernel could give, so you'd better try all of them.
Galaxy y has very low internal storage, so try to keep it clean (when theres 30 mb empty or so, my phone gets lag spikes while gaming)
The kernel I gave you above has ext4 support. So use repencis ext4 converter or any other converters that convert system, data and cache partitions to ext4, then REMOVE EXT 4 JOURNALISM (IT MADE MY PHONE A LOT FASTER)
Ext 4 journalism disabling script : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2009287&d=1370093464

I dont know what you mean by effect
if you mean speed performance etc etc only you will know this as people use their phones in different ways
try for yourself!!!
