I had the same thing happen to me on a stock, un-rooted Note 3 - the GPS stopped functioning. I took it back and exchanged for an S5.
However, since you rooted and thus voided your warranty, you might have just dug your phone a nice cozy grave.

Did you ever get a solution to this? I have the same issue

It's unlikely to be a hardware failure. You probably just messed up the system files by changing so many ROMS.
Make a backup if you don't already have one
Do a system reset from the settings menu (note that this will delete your user files!)
Boot to recovery mode and choose wipe cache (recovery mode: remove battery for ten seconds, replace. then volume up + home + power)
Use Odin or Keyes to flash a full stock firmware image (replace system files)
More than likely this will fix your GPS
You will need to reinstall the ROM you ended up choosing, apps, etc
.

How to get into flashing/recovery mode

1) Turn off and remove battery
2)Put the battery back in and immediately hold the back button
3) Plug in the USB cable while still holding the back button
4)Your screen will remain black, but its in recovery mode, and the flashing software should detect it
Source: Sony Update Service, I installed it and it told me to do just that to get into the recovery mode
Looks like were one step closer into getting the X10 rooted
I'm afraid this doesn't work

It does - it just doesn't display the things we are used to with HTC phones for instance.
This is SE's standard flashing method(and recovery mode). It's the same for their WinMo phones and for Symbian.
It puts the phone in a special flash mode ready to accept a new ROM/flash.
As OP mentioned the screen will remain black throughout the process.
shud try fastboot when its in flash mode..
Code:
fastboot devices
or
Code:
fastboot boot randomrecovery.img
worth a try aint it!?

Yes. You can backup sms from the Messaging application by pressing the menu-button while in thread mode. And use MyBackup to backup settings, apps and everything you need on the SD-card or online.
Would this still work if the phone isn't being recognized by the computer? (correct drivers etc are installed).
I have an xperia Ray, so I assume it's the same method... I get no response from plugging it into usb or charger, it won't turn on, although sometimes if I hold the power button it gives a brief vibration. I think it might be bricked :-/

Galaxy S i9000 non-stop bootloop

Hi everyone
I have a galaxy s with a strange problem.
When I'm turning it on, the phone will bootloop.
I tried to flash stock roms, several of them but the result is always the same.
Odin shows that everything went great, I get the PASS message but then the phone will reboot itself and get into recovery 3e mode and that's it. If I try to reboot the phone it will get into bootloops all over again.
This is the state the phone gets into after a successful odin stock rom flash.

First of all - thanks
Tried what you've said.
Now the device has a normal CWM recovery but still nothing. Bootloops.
I can't get access to the internal SD.
Maybe another idea?
Thanks.

Is there a game or something you installed recently? Anything related to Meida files? another person seem to have same problem here ('Successfully copied meida files')
Try flashing a CSC file , was my suggestion
But before that try a hard reset by
Turn off the i9000 Phone and take out the Battery and Reinsert it. Hold the Volume Down button Press and Release the Power button Select Clear Storage by Pressing the Volume Down button Press and Release the Power button Press Volume Up to confirm i9000 master reset
or http://www.hard-reset.com/samsung-i9000-galaxy-s-hard-reset.html
Did you flash the file that you downloaded? The dbdata file? And you could try wiping everything before you do this to see if it helps

Note 3 screen problem

Missus's Note 3 suddenly displayed the attached screen, no way of getting out of it, can't get into recovery etc. Also, the flash always remains on.
Anyone else experience this problem? Is the phone a gunner?

Try pulling the battery. With the battery out hold the power button for 30 seconds, replace the battery and restart
Also could be some loose cables for the display. Take the back off the phone and check the connectors

Thanks. No connectors lose. tried the battery pull already.
Nah that doesn't look right, have you tried going to download mode and flashing a stock ROM via Odin? If you can't go into download mode or recovery then I think its better to visit Service Centre.
Remove battery it might work
Wipe data, cache and davlik cache. It worked me

He cant see a **** and cant go to Recovery Mode. Read First before u Post !
Try to Install a Stock Rom via Odin, or if u have CM Rom try to Flash a Update/Downgrade File
Thanks all. It seems the screen is now working, but doesn't respond to any touch commands. I'm going to try and reinstall stock firmware, but I think I might need to take it in and get the LCD replaced.
How did you fix it?

Issues returning to stock

Howdy everyone...
OnePlus 7t Pro McLaren edition (International Edition **NOT T-MOBILE**)
Model: HD1913
Current Software Build: Oxygen OS 10.0.5.HD01AA (OTA update when I first unboxed).
I am having issues trying to return to stock. I rooted the phone with a combination of a couple guides found here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/10-0-3-patched-boot-image-oneplus-7t-pro-t3986351 and . I noticed after doing that I was missing the stock Oxygen apps and my build information was missing data. Not a huge deal, but I need to wipe the phone and start from scratch anyway, for other reasons. I decided to go back to stock if I have to redo everything anywhere.
First thing I tried, I got the stock firmwares (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/oneplus-7t-pro-repo-oxygen-os-builds-t4003455). And this is where my issues started. My software build is weird... I have the HD1913, however my software build is HD01AA. Per that post, I should have HD01BA. I grabbed both of them for giggles, put them on my storage and booted into TWRP. Tried to flash the HD01AA (since that was what I have now), and it failed. Tried the other one, same issue. I'm getting a bunch of errors while trying to mount the system ("System unable to mount: invalid argument").
Second thing I tried, was to use the built in software update that OnePlus says to use (through the system update). It wouldn't install them (surprise).
Third attempt... Using the MsmDownloadTool (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/op7tpro-unbrick-tool-to-restore-device-t4002909) I downloaded both versions cause I don't know which to use, and followed the instructions to get the phone into the mode. Turn the phone off, hold the vol up button and plug the cable in (very simple). It shows up connected in the software. Exactly 5 seconds later, the phone reboots and boots normally... I repeat this process aprox. 2.3 million more times. It does not matter what USB-C cable I use, the port on my computer, or how long I hold the buttons. The phone will boot into the download mode (or whatever it's called) show up as connected in MsmDownload and then reboot.
The phone works. I am still able to boot it up.... All I want to do is get this phone back to stock. I don't HAVE to, but now that it's fighting me, I have to beat it...

Okay - After sacrificing an iPhone to the Android God, I got it.
Instead of using the button combination to get into EDL Mode, I found an article that gave an adb command (adb reboot edl) to get to it. It did not reboot this time, and I was able to flash HD01BA to it, which matches what the phone should have...

Stuck on Boot

A few years ago, I installed a custom rom (Havoc OS) on my N910C, I didn't have any problems with it til 5 months later, it started freezing randomly, so I decided to go back to my stock firmware. I installed it using odin as usual, but for some reason, after flashing, it was stuck on this boot text

I know I had installed the right variants because I remembered my CSC code was Vietnam. I also tried other rom regions but nothing seems to work
(I tried UK, Australia, Philippines, Arab Erimates, Canada, New Zealand)
I even tried to flash the full firmware (AP BL CSC CP AND PIT) but I don't seem to make progress. I don't know what I did wrong? Did I hard brick my device? I can still access Download Mode but that's all it can do, Please I need it to fix it asap, any help is greatly appreciated.
I also noticed that you can fix a hard brick device through an SD CARD and I don't have the debrick file and I am confused with the procedure.
Phone Details:

Vietnamesse
Treltexx
(You can ask for more details)
Update: I downloaded a debrick bin file from a website so I decided to flash it using win32diskimager with my FAT32 sdcard, I inserted that card from my bricked phone and I powered it on but nothing seems to be happening? It's just on the Boot screen, any help please

Mostly, after reinstalling a stock rom you have to make a factory reset to boot it normally.
Go into stock recovery and delete cache and perform factory reset.
Hope it works.
