add a line to it (build.prop under the system folder)
ro.sf.lcd_density=<value>
default value is 480.
just a tip: do not take it below 380. Long pressing the home button for recents menu wont work and a lot of apps like swiftkey will go back to their default sizes and things will start looking ugly..

Thanks mate. Any idea how to change font size and type?

Size usually decreases with dpi. There is one option in the settings. As for font, use rom toolbox.
Also, please use the thanks button instead of posting it..

I was wanting to do the same but when you say add a line to it, what do you mean, I was thinking maybe to the build.prop file under system folder but I wanted to be sure.
Thanks.

Same here. Got the installer installed but no modules will work. Keeps saying failed to write in data/xposed/module_list. Hopefully there will be a fix soon
yes, working fine on my n9005 with app settings, also changed the default dpi to 320dpi now.
you must install 2.3 beta 1 or later for gn3.

not sure what im doing wrong, I cant seem to get app settings to work. I save the setting, launch and theres no change! Tried enabling, disabling, rebooting. Have noticed that it does not quite save the settings if I just press the save icon and leave the app. Bit weird! I am on a international N9005 stock rooted rom if that helps. Any ideas?

Try to get buildprop editor and search for lcd_density to change the display default density. For N3, I think it better to set value between 380 and 400.

2 questions why you wanna change the dpi? And why not xposed?
Changing via build prop might result into incompatible Google play apps. That's the only way I know besides xposed (which app settings module have it safe but not sure it works on the LG g2)
How you you change the build prop it's on you.. if text editing or app. And it will result or might into Google play problems

texdroider_dpi via playstore. But the only way I could fix my camera app after the change of my DPI was to install xposed framework, then the app settings module.
App Settings via XPosed works fine for almost everything (don't change LGSystemUI's dpi, it messed up my keyboard when I did that). I ended up just editing build.prop via a text editor since my favorite app PropModder was giving me the large keyboard. It worked so well on my GNex Oh well.
NOTE: Change your camera DPI back to 480 via App Settings after changing DPI for the entire phone otherwise your viewfinder won't be showing you the entire picture.

That or maybe you are bad at reading. I said "custom" fonts, which means the 1000 or so others that are not preloaded on the S5. Like using apps like Bytafont or Fontswap to change fonts. Typically root is required to do this.

You can change the font style and font size on your device. To change the font settings, from the Home screen, touch Menu Menu key > Settings Settings Shortcut > My device Settings Device Tab Icon > Display Settings Display Icon . Touch Font Style and choose from Default font, Choco cooky, Cool jazz, Rosemary, or Samsung Sans. Touch Get fonts online to download new fonts from Google Play Store.
Touch Font size and choose from Tiny up to Huge. When you select Huge, the font may be shown only in certain applications. In applications that cannot support Huge font size, Large font size will be used instead. :cyclops:

[MOD] Batterty percentage in locksreen status bar plus green carrier text

I cannot find a way to have the battery % show itself in the status bar with the odexed 5.0 system. I have at least been able to show the battery percentage in the lockscreen status bar. I've also changed the carrier text to green instead of white simply because it looks cool. As long as you're on LRX210 this should work for you. Just move the SystemUI.apk to system/priv-app and set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot. See below to for screenshots and the apk for download.

Hey buddy, it worked. I forgot earlier to check a box in settings of my file manager to give root privileges. Is there a chance to show the battery % while the device is NOT in the lock screen only? And also is there a chance to make a white carrier font like it used to be?

As of right now I cannot figure out how to get the percentage to show when the screen is unlocked....if the SystemUI was not odexed it wouldn't be an issue. I'm not really a developer, I just dabble around in XML's and have read a lot on themeing android system files. Getting the percentage to show while the screen is unlocked is still a project I'm working on. If I get it to work trust me I will be sure to post it!
I believe the XML was keygaurd_status_bar.XML
All I did was change the hex color code for the carrier text from white (FFFFFFFF) to green (FF00FF00). Then in the textview parameter for battery percentage I changed the line android:visibility="gone" to android:visibility="visible "
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda premium
Also I've noticed with this mod if you stick the phone on the charger and take it off the battery percentage in the lock screen disappears....once you reboot its back again. Have no idea how to fix that...
