Extreme LG G3 4K Volcano scene from Marum, Ambrym Island in Vanuatu - G3 General

This is gonna be a big marketing launch video for LG's G3 4k video capability which I happened to read an early article on. The photographer is Geoff Mackley which he is well-known for his work in chasing down some of the best shots and videos across the globe. This happens to be a live shoot that took place yesterday Monday the 9th of June, which we happen to get an excellent glimpse of a live Volcano scene from Marum, Ambrym Island in Vanuatu. Check it Out!!! :good:

and hopefully before Christmas Day
I'm a newbie at this.. do you think phones that have been flashed from sprint to boost will also get that upgrade?

The 8013 will get ours soon. I find it amusing that Samsung likes to test stuff out in Europe before they send it to the USA. We should be flattered
I'm less concerned with the timing of the rollout than I am with Samsung continuing to improve S-Notes. Its is so close to being a perfect app. Just needs a few more tweaks.

It was the night before xmas
and all through the house
not a creature was stirring
so I wiggled my mouse
Searched XDA hoping to find
This jelly bean update that is so far behind
I typed and scrolled and mouse wheel it rolled
Hey! theres some news, NO, just a Troll
I opened up settings the button I hit
and the wheel as turned I dreamed of
.....................a new weather widget
But just like always the message it said
No update available so I headed to bed
Then what to my wondering eyes should appear
but a mini i-pad with display crystal clear
but soon as I used it
I instantly knew
that this over hyped item
was something like poo
then through the modem the developers came
saying these people are waiting
it is just a shame
The programmed and fiddled
with transition stutter
now it works great
something like butter
Then out of the light came
Dr. Oh-Hyun Kwon
He finally sued apple
He finally won
We heard him exclaim as he flew out of sight
We will give you the update when its finally right
Wow, this commercial really does make our Note 10.1 look pretty awesome doesn't it? There is literally no other tablet like it out there.
ah so its a "rub in your face" promotion then? thanks samsung! looking forward to trying it sometime in the next century or so! ¬_¬
*don't take this serious guys it's only sarcasm*
and yes lets hope we see this app by christmas or something.
It will be here by Christmas. There's no way they could show that commercial and not do that. I'm more excited for finals to be done than I am to get this update. I'm still loving ics. This tablet is incredible.

"Upgrade features and schedule may vary by country"
This commercial makes me realized how many features the 10.1/Note 2 has that I don't currently use.....:silly:
This is a brilliant advert, I love it!! Seriously thinking about getting a Note for Crimbo, hopefully this will be waiting for me if I do!!
i really want the multiview like my gnII has. it's awesome on the phone but would be 100x's better on the tablet.
Will it be released in Q4 in every country?

Yeah, with all the controversy coming out about Samsung's paid 'user reviews', I would say definitely check out Anandtech's review - amazingly thorough and very hones. Covers casual and hardcore phone nerd interests very well.
Here's my review of the phone, trust me I got no extra money from HTC

Hey folks, planing to say good bye to my S2 to HTC One, but the questions i have are that the call quality, wifi reception, signal reception, battery and ear phone experience, any goods in HTC One?

I have also switched from s2 to one.
Call quality - very clear and loud. Perfect.
Wifi - i have recorded speeds of 25mb download
Battery - solely depends on case by case basis i have not used it to play games or watch videos yet and lasts me days and a half before it dies.
Ear phone - its ok for free ear phone. Other members in this forum rate these better.
Hope it helps.

Recent galaxy s4 reviews will make us all smile

If u were one of those people that was torn between the HTC one and the galaxy s4 .. well.. laggy, gimmicky, and boring design all seem to be mentioned in all the top website reviews on the final build s4. Stuff.tv and pocketnow are amoung a few sites rating the HTC one higher than the s4

After having a galaxy s (still going) and seeing Samsung's lack of software support, on that alone I'd choose the HTC ONE. I'd be happy with the hardware upgrade of the S4, but the ONE seems like its of better build quality.
Not only that, but the whole PR debacle where Samsung was revealed to have been spreading bad user reviews of the HTC One also casts a shadow of doubt on anybody ridiculously badmouthing the One. Good job Samsung!
Hopefully the fact that almost all of the reviews mention the HTC One in comparison will give it the media exposure it is lacking due to minimal advertising.
Wow is that confirmed to be true? But yeah its some media exposure for HTC is always good.

I suppose I could just be having a bad experience with Samsung. In a way I'm glad, otherwise I wouldn't have tried so many great ROMs. I still think it should have been upgraded past gingerbread though.

i never had a phone from them, but i had one of their high end $ 3000 led tv got it replaced twice by amazon (thanks amazon) while samsung customer service a-hole told me (after 50+ calls over a month and 2 tv sets) they will not honor the warranty due me abusing the tv by keeping it on for more than 6 hours because the tv was reseting every 15-30 min (really i bought an lg led never had problem with and will keep on for a day sometime w/o problem), so no thanks if samsung will make the last anything on the planet i will not buy it.

I was one of the people who was torn between the S4 and HTC One i kept changing me mind right up to the last minute. I was coming from an S2 which i never had any problems with infact its still a great phone over 2 years old (the misses uses it now and loves it) I'm glad i went with the One though it has that WOW factor that i dont think the S4 has. i'm more than happy with my decision the One is an amazing piece of kit
I take it all but the most demented Sammy trolls are now far too busy over on the S4 forums to hang around our street corner anymore.

Thank you for such. I actually watched your video before purchasing my phone. I bought it two days ago and received it just a few hours ago. So far its fantastic. I could point out that no NFC bugs me, because now I want to use it. Ha. But not having LTE still does not affect the way the phone pulls the data. It does a good job with just the 4G. So I'm going to say for 199.99, this phone is the best thing I've bought.

HSPA+ has been at least 10mbps, I am not complaining. The issues that may arise for some may be due to the fact that they can't appreciate what the phone brings for its price tag. I was skeptical but that's been because of what it has accomplished so far. I watch a lot of your videos and they always satisfy my curiosity behind a device. Thanks for the review on this phone because it sold me.
I've already got it rooted and I'm posting a guide soon!

Battery is actually pretty good for its size. I getting a out 4.5 - 5 hrs of screen on time. With moderate use (Facebook, 2-3 hrs YouTube, Web browsing, XDA forums etc etc) .
I don't take a lot of pictures so I can't really give you and honest opinion on camera. But for $200 you can't really expect much.

Battery life is actually great! Standby/sleep battery is amazing. Coming from a nexus 4 this phone has a lot better battery life. The camera on the other hand is terrible. If you are used to iPhone or any flagship phone camera you will be dissapointed.
