Wait til the end of today; from the looks of things, the new update shall bring themes

I got the update and it deleted my play store is that normal?

As it is recommend you should do a clean install of the newest pa version.
Wipe Date/Cache, flash the newest pa and the gapps.
Reboot.
Should fix the problem

The 4.4 beta1 supports themes. Holo is the default, but you can download tons of them by the Play Store.

Read the opening post, all of it. You need to flash gapps. Hell even skimming it you'd realize that gapps needs to be flashed

If you have to ask this about a CM based rom then maybe you should think a little more about flashing custom roms. There is a learning curve. It is not for everyone.

[HELP] PAC-Man Rom for Nexus 7?

Can somebody please build a PAC-Man Rom for the Nexus 7? The 4.2.1 version is now out!
I would build it myself but my computer isn't fast enough and I have limited internet data (Stupid Australian Internet).
The git is here: https://github.com/PAC-man/
4.2.1 has been out since last year..
Try Revolt ROM its similar to pacman ROM.

I have just installed the 4.2 version my nexus this morning. If you download goo manager from the play store browse compatible roms and its there but make sure to flash the latest gapps as i did a 4.1 gapps first which just bricked it

No stock 4.4 wallpapers on the latest factory image

I flashed the latest factory image and I have no new wallpapers, only the Jelly Bean one. How can I fix this? Thanks!
Google for stock nexus wallpapers and download them. Not included in nexus 7 stock build.
Also try apps section i am sure ull find them there.

Gapps choices?

I've been using ota since KitKat dropped and now I'm wanting to flash some Roms. What different gapps packages are available? There was always a wide array of choices but searching through the themes and apps section I could find nothing. Thanks in advance and merry Christmas!

My general rule of thumb is to flash Gapps from CM according to the ROM version. For example, flash CM11 Gapps for anything based on 4.4 and CM10.2 for anything based on 4.3.
If there is an app I don't want in the Gapps file, I unzip Gapps, delete the APK I don't want, rezip, and flash.

Click to collapse
Banks Gapps and PA gapps work fine. PA will give you all of the Google apps, and Banks will give you the main ones and you chose to download the rest from the play store.

Missing Paranoid settings.

Hello there, I'm new to this forum and I want to start by saying that I was able to root and install my first customer ROM thanks to you.
That being said, everything seems to be in order except that I don't see Paranoid Settings.
I'm running the following:
Device: Nexus 7 2013
Recovery: TWRP
ROM: pa_flo-4.2-BETA4-20140408
This is a snapshot of my settings menu.
If I'm missing any information or posted in the wrong place, please excuse me.

Yep, PA hasn't implemented them yet, it's normal I think

This gets asked daily in their dedicated thread
(spoiler alert: kit Kat killed a lot of them)
If you want customization then I'd use Xposed Framework with the GravityBox module but if you're looking for the signature PA per-app dpi and tablet/phablet modes then unfortunately they aren't included with the KK ROMs
Thank you guys for the responses.

What do you mean with KitKat killed a lot of them, do you mean features?
And which one is the dedicated thread, I've seen plenty of them?
Thanks for the help.

KitKat didn't kill the features, PA killed the features because they decided to start from scratch and build their ROMs in a different way.
