[Zooper Template]Swoops - Zooper Widget Templates

My intention here was not to build something that folks would use, but rather to experiment with "animation", or moving things around as time, date, battery level, etc. changes.
This has 8 animated items.
The temperature, battery level and minutes just sort of click from one value to the next. I tried to use seconds for the minutes to make a smoother step, but it just does not work well.
The day of the week, hours, AM/PM, Month and day of month are more animated. The background numbers rotate into view and when the next increment reaches the static white value, it clicks over to the new value.
The hour and AM/PM are full circles with the values at their representative slots. The others move value in from off screen, then continue off the other side.
Most of these move in an arc, but the day of the month moves in a line.
Hopefully this will help some folks and give some of the more creative types out there some ideas for some cool new widgets.

HTC messaging typing space

I posted about this forever ago in the Rhodium forum. Never got an answer or any replies, no +1's, nothing.....
Now we have a couple hd2's and so i bring it to leo forum attention:
is a way to cut down the space in the typing area. See screen shot. Any ideas how to edit this?

Looking at your screen pic, you are pressing return/enter key after you type each word. (key near bottom right).
Yeah no kidding. That was to show my point. Take out all those words and the typing space remains as big as it is there in that screen shot. Its like they set the typing space to 5 or 6 lines before it expands, when it should be set to 1 typing line and expand as needed.
If I remember right, the tilt2 or the fuze this was a reverse problem, meaning there werent enough lines, and someone found that I think it was in the .css file there was a setting to change to make the box bigger, maybe its the same setting. I dont have the time right now, but I'll look later, but do a search in google for htc sms box enlarge setting, if you have trouble finding it, I'll see later and post a link.

Nexus One Weather Icon Widgets

I was wondering, maybe I have a bad .apk but for some reason when it's night, it will still show a sun, wtf? It'll show the correct temp, for example, right now it's 66* but it's showing a bright sun saying 'clear', umm it's clear, but there is NO sun in sight lol.
How can I fix this or is this the same on the N1?
P.S. For those that don't know what it looks like,

As stupid as it sounds have you updated the weather, if it is 66 degrees wherever you are it should update it to something relatively close to that temperature, and time of day, if its at night it should be a moon.
The widget will show whatever the actual weather app says.
I have, still showing a sun. It's been like this for a couple weeks, the daytime weather icon shows up perfectly but at night, I get a sun no matter what, 11pm, 12pm, 2am, 4am shows a sun lol
hah, I hear ya. When I had the hero, and every once in a while with the EVO, I would update the weather at like 9 or 10 AM (chicago) and it would show the moon instead of the sun.
The weather app needs work.

Graphic artifacts randomly appearing

I know the Vega is supposed to be cheap and the screen not the best but for what it is I really like it. However, I've noticed quite a few times now when I'll be doing something or when I pick certain things that I get lots of graphic artifacts on the screen in the form of long lines. It goes away as soon as I leave whatever made it happen and it is repeatable in some cases such as loading a profile image on TweetDeck.
I've got a badly shot blurry photo of the artifacts on the screen but it's clear enough to show what I'm referring to. If anyone has any information on this or, I hope not, think that this may be a problem that will get worse in time please let me know! I've intentionally left this as a full view of the screen to lower blurryvision, it's the lines all over the lower half or left half if held in landscape but this is pretty random and can be anywhere on the screen.

It is a known issue in the 1.08 version at least, and in the 1.09. They're bothersome, but I have never read that these artifacts can create any long-term problems on the device. There's no reason to panic AFAIK.

Teach-A-Baby(In Development)

Hey everyone, just want to share with all of you an app idea i am currently working in developing. I would love to hear some advice and what can be done to make it better.
The point of this app is kind of straight forward. It is to teach kids their ABC's, how to count, their colors and to include some lullabies as well.
Currently i dont have the images i need so for now in the image below i only have the color red and an A in the middle. The scree i swipeable so when you swipe it goes to the next letter and pronounces it automatically out loud. Each letter will have a different background, NOT A COLOR, for example A will have a background of an apple, B will be a Bear, C could be a Cat and so on...
As of now i dont know how the app will look in its final stage but this is what i got so far.
The app just started being developed, so far not much is done but updates as it goes on will be posted. Thanks
Here are some images in order of how they load. The main Page has a sliding drawer from the left side of the screen which will have options such as rate us, Like Us on FB and Twitter, About Us, Contact Us and so on. The menu is not done and it is very ugly and unorganized so i didnt post a picture with it open.

Help

Boys, I have the following problem it does a couple of days. (Since I am impeded to explain it "technically", I am going to try to describe it as vulgarly as possible to try to make myself to understand the possible better thing). There are moments in which the screen meets normal. Then, of to little, the low part begins to suffer something that I give the name of " displacement of segments ". Though in the title I put " Winking screen " it it does not manage to be. For example: the bar of navigation starts moving it was doing above and down, without I manipulate the telephone and without being able to stop it. There are times that one stops blocking the screen a time or there are others that this displacement moves to the whole screen and is his totality that starts moving over-excited. Adding information I tell them that it happens to me in any part in the one that is with the cellular one, so much on the principal screen, since in the recovery, or in the animations of beginning. Also, thinking that it was some Rom that had installed in his moment, I have changed several times and with all it happens to me (likewise with the Kernel). I they attach a photo in order that they have an idea of what attempt to describe them.
