i need 17.1.A.2.69 FW for Z2 D6502 firmware ASAP..is there anyone have it? upload .ftf file for me please
if there is newer version, it is better
problem is, i cannot update my z2 D6502 using SUS so the only thing i can do is flash it using flashtool

It's just branding (country specific functions) and additional functions. eg. Garmin navigation.

Am so used to having a rooted Samsung phone that I didn't realize that flashtool wipes the phone...time to test Sony's Back up and restore app from a back up I made earlier :fingers-crossed:
This is the new firmware that was recently google certified right? Is this a leak or did it roll out in Europe? I take it our current root method should still work? I will help seed the torrent as well.

Is this showing up in PC Companion only for folks in certain countries? ie. I'm in the U.S. w/ the UK phone - will it show up after I relock my bootloader? Just curious.

There are mirrors with direct download available... You don't have to use torrents, it you don't want to

after you install the ftf do a factory reset and you will be fine!
sorry no apparently many french people have the same bug related to google play servers not your ftf ^^

Wipe : appslog, cache, data
Exclude : Don't select anything here
Misc : Here also don't select anything and and flash it.
And yes these apply to both LB and UB.
This version is working currently using it now, very fluid ui etc. anyone check your messaging app if it displays your picture on the conversation box? coz mine it doesnt. :crying:

Flashed it and works perfectly!!
I was kinda scared because it took around 10-20 minutes to pass the boot animation but now works perfectly...
There are some bugs like soundvolume gray box and some others but I don't really mind...

Just downloaded, decrypted and uploaded to Dropbox, Google Drive and Mega.

Make sure that you uncheck Wipe Data option to prevent data loss, but think you're flashing so you'll never be 100% safe

Is the software targeted to devices of shows and demos, not localized to any country nor carrier. Usually for Dev purpouses but 100% daily usable.

I was wondering, this firmware such be the most "neutral" firmware right? No country or customization right? Are there any differences with other firmwares, the file system version is GLOBAL-LTE while the others are EURO-LTE? Could that be related to the LTE bands?

if towelroot works, download the debloater app from play store, it needs root, then you can delete all the stuff you don'T need

@bdit I know how to do these.. I am not new member.. Be specific on what I have asked.. Those process does not support download resuming and I get very slow download speed so I have asked for ftf file if anyone can upload.. Thanks

Hey guys. I got the ota yesterday(E6653_32.1.A.1.163_TH.ftf) and captured it. This is for the model listed in the title, so please make sure this is yours. Use flashtool to flash it (I recommend using linux to do so, as I had trouble using windows 10).

From my experience on here, torrent links are allowed if they are for firmwares. If they are for torrenting paid for content then they are strictly forbidden.
