Hey guys,
I am looking for an app I can load while playing music on Google music or Pandora.. Something along the lines of the giess plugin or milkdrop for winamp.. I am not sure if this is even possible but I figured I would ask.. I checked the Market and found nothing that would do what I needed only a ton of live wallpapers. Any ideas?

That is awesome and what I was looking for, I don't want to bump it but that's what I want I would easily pay for it if someone made that app.

The way it works is this. You put everyone you want to Hangout with in a Google Plus Messenger group. Then from that group you start a hangout. And people can join it as they want. However. Sense based OSs even the factory OS will rotate the image 90*. and there is no current fix.

and it looks like my video is completely upside down and not just 90 degrees. skype recently implemented a screen flip option for their video calls, hopefully google will do the same soon. thanks again for your help!

most important thing to notice that it is meant for low end devices with ram of 512 mb and up.
so there is every possibility that it will be on our grand........may be samsung wil lbless us with it..??

We dont have official 4.3 so i doubt 4.4 will be available in near future until some dev gets it to grand via the CM route !

if you wanna try 4.2.2 you can flash any country firmware it doesn't matter buddy and i wish that you receive 4.2.2 and even 4.3 and 4.4 quickly

Are you sure? Because here in Brazil is the "L" variantion and I don't know the difference betwen i9082 or i9082L. Could be modem, or kernel. I look in the forum and I couldn't get answers if I can really do that"

i looked for gtI9082L GRAND DUOS sadly i found that the latest one is 4.1.2 but you can try latest october build
But that's exactly what I told you! The i9082 and i9082L has different sections. I9082L only has 4.1.2 for now... for every country avaiable. Got it?

I9082l is completely different there is no android 4.2.2 official for i9082l u can try Cyanogenmod its pretty good gives yew 4.2.2 based on 4.1.2 only drawback is you got to give up your other sim slot!!!

I've have been here since the Grand thread was a single general thread, so I've done and tried it all:
Here are the options for 4.2.2 on the Grand "L"
1. You CAN flash the OFFICIAL 4.2.2 for the 9082 BUT....you will loose 3G connectivity, it will only work on EDGE.
2. You CAN the CM10.1 Build as in my thread it will run the 3G networks fine, BUT...you loose your second SIM slot.
That's it.

so you are saying in i9082l the 4.2.2 of i9082 will work with calls and sms and only thing limiting is mobile internet of edge and not 3g???

I really dislike the default Samsung gallery app and I'm wondering if there's a way to specifically make it so Quickpic can be accessed through the stock camera app by pressing the preview button in the top left corner. Freezing/disabling the Gallery app does NOT prompt you to select a default gallery app when pressing the preview button.
Instead, it prompts this message:
(Because I can't post links to external images, see the first attachment.)
I should probably add that there are no permissions for gallery to open as the default gallery, so that's not the issue. (Quickpic is set as the default).

Is there any possible way to get the stock camera app to use Quickpic as the default gallery? I'm rooted with no custom ROMs, just default TouchWiz.

I'm not posting this for the sake of OP, I'm posting it for anybody who asks the same question, gets directed to this topic by google, and gets disappointed by the NO answer - while in reality the answer is YES it's possible.
And by the way I've had the same question several years ago, when I had a Samsung Galaxy S, then again more than a year ago, when I got an S3. Didn't hear about Xposed then, so I just accepted "it's not possible" as an answer. So even a year later, the answer is still relevant and might be useful.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work with my SGS3. From my understanding you should uninstall/freeze the default gallery app and next time you try to open the gallery from the Camera app, the phone should ask which app should be used to view the picture.

I tried freezing. It won"t work either. My problem is getting to albums from the Contacts app, when I need to add a picture to a contact. If I freeze the Gallery there will be no Image option in the Contact Photo window opened for selection of the photo source for a contact. It means I cannot get into my albums for photo selection. And since my contacts photo album is organized by name, I am having hard times when looking for a right photo for my contacts. QuickPic could solve this...
Don"t understand how this so basic and obvious feature is missing in such a complex and long time running on millions devices OS?

I feel your pain, I have similar idea. But maybe the blame is misdirected, the Contacts app comes from Samsung, doesn't it? They made some of their apps too tightly integrated with each other, not giving the user the flexibility to choose the gallery app. I'm planning to try another ROM (e.g. CyanogenMod) to get a look at the pure Android experience.

Hello guys,
First of all I am totally new to this community and the Android customization things. Last night, I have downloaded CM11 Nightly onto my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 4.4.2. It took me a while to get used to it and configure it to my needs, but I noticed that the notification sound applies to almost every app, Whatsapp, Email, etc...
What I'm trying to ask is how to configure different notifications sounds for different applications, and also another question is where can I get the old Samsung S4 notifications from?

Each app would have to provide the ability to set a custom sound for notifications.
