This is a fake device, i replied in a thread like this not long ago where somebody bought a 'n9006' from craigslist and download mode had chinese writing.. they provided a screenshot too.

Return and get the money back as quick as possible if it looks the same as the screenshot provided in the link i am about to post.
Edit:
Here you go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2742463
If you look at the screenshot they provided you can tell it is not genuine as the screen is too far away from the edges of the device.

[Q] Galaxy S4 goes into Factory Mode instead of Download

When I turn off my Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-i9500) and push the volume down, home button and power button to go into Download Mode I get a purple text that says Factory Mode and shows this:
工厂模式(Gōng chǎng mó shì)=factory model
完整测试(Wán zhěng cè shì)=complete testing
单项测试(Dān xiàng cè shì)=single testing
测试报告(Cè shì bào gào)=test report
清除e MMC(Qīng chú e MMC)=Clear/Remove/reset e MMC
版本信息(Bǎn běn xìn xī)=Version Information
重启手机(Chóng qǐ shǒu jī)= restarting the phone
(I got the translations off of another website as I was browsing around for answers)
I really want to root my S4 and I can't root it unless I can access my download mode. Is there another way I can access the download mode on a unrooted S4 or if I could get rid of this Factory Mode menu that shows up?
Also, why is my S4 showing this instead of download mode?
Sad to say but your s4 is a clone device. Not the original GT-9500

Awh man, so there is pretty much nothing I could do besides just being stuck with what the stock Android that comes with it?

There may be ROMS for your phone but you won't find them here as this is for the Official Samsung Galaxy S4. Yours is completely different in every way.
If you bought it at a premium price as a Genuine S4 I'd be hitting up the seller for a refund!

I have the same Factory Mode screen on an old Samsung Galaxy Ace and no matter what I do cannot get into download mode. Bought the phone on ebay and it looks like it originally came from Chine Mobile. Is it right that this Factory mode screen means the phone is a clone and not an original.

Link below is suppose to be the one for your phone but I'm not sure if cf updated it already for 4.4.

Make sure reactivation lock is off or you won't be able to root.

Download is at the bottom of the link and it's a zip file. You can check in download mode whether reactivation lock is off or on.

Settings > security > reactivation lock > uncheck it. (for future reference)
Reactivation Lock is a security feature implemented that if you have on and you lose/have your phone stolen it is tied to your Samsung account. If someone tries to flash a new ROM/Reset it, they cannot as it will require your Samsung account info to get past the setup screen.

Off the top of my head it should be in there or around security - (not currently using my N3 as it's got a broken screen so using my N5). -

That's weird. When i go to security settings, top one is encrypt, below that is find my mobile section and reactivation lock is at the bottom of that section.

Do T-Mobile offer a different method of locating a device? Like Lookout or something? I know one of the US carriers do - it's possible the firmware has been adjusted to reflect this due to any deal the carrier may have.

EDIT: Post a pic of your device in download mode if you can also!
I wouldn't worry too much about the S T R A P number versions currently, I think best thing to do is wipe the device, reflash your stock and start again with the CF-AutoRoot that was posted in the thread. It's possible something just may have corupted on you somewhere along the line.

ok, here is what I did:
1: install firmware. it reboots...then shows the android ..( he turns blue), then restarts ....phone works fine.
2: install the cf-root from above link and it installs fine, but then on reboot it gets stuck in "Seanandroid enforcing (something like that) and just keeps rebooting like it wants to go into recovery, but it never does...just bootloops.
3: I read in CF forum to turn off..pull battery and try again...same thing.
Do I need to load a recovery file?..am I missing a step or doing it out of order perhaps?
It's possible that the cf file you are using isn't compatible with the N900T - to be 100% certain you'd have to go over to the T-Mobile Note 3 forum on here and have a look through their cf auto root thread to be sure one way or another. It's puzzled me especially since the method you're using seems correct.

I will do that, thank you...I just saw this online in another forum with others having the same problem:
"I upgraded to kitkat 4.4.2 Note 3 SM-900T and even after odin says pass, it is stuck in Boot loop (which I know how to get out of) and I get this message like everyone else;
Recovery Booting...
Recovery is not seandroid enforcing
Set warranty bit: recovery"
uh -oh....lol...interesting find.
Uh oh indeed. Chainfire may have fixed it since though, he's pretty quick as updating and fixing things as soon as he's made aware of changes.

[Q] Flash EU firmware on US model?

Hi,
There are a few similar threads and it looks like it should be possible but i didn't get it to work.
Bought a Samsung Tab 4 8" in the US and tried to flash the NL firmware onto it found on Sammobile:
URL to Sammobile > /firmwares/3/?download=28816
Click to collapse
For this i used Odin and followed the instructions but i get a message on the Tab 4
Security fail: [slb1]
Tried this with the tablet in normal mode an in usb debug mode after turning on the developer options, but that made no difference.
Since it's not that of a big deal to work with the English language and i don't want it bricked i left it at that, but i still would like to know if someone succeeded in doing this?
Hello, I found a solution for the language problem. When I bought the tablet in Canada I couldn't choose much languages. Dutch was for example not visible, after a reset (menu button /volume up/ power button) choose for factory reset. I was able to choose which language I want so as told by some people the languages are there but not visible is true. So I installed it now like I want it..... Maybe a solution for others.....

Bumping your thread will not help.
Better explain what the error is, we're not mindreaders here nor people with magic powers who know what you did. In what state is your phone now?

well you might first check if you have enough free space on your device storage.
see my screenshot as an example
Or just flash ofw from samfirmware with odin and be done with it.
It Just Write "ERROR!"

Like I said earlier, download your firmware from samfirmware, flash it with odin. It's easy as pie and you won't lose your warranty cause it's official firmware, if that's what you're worried about.
How can I do it ?

Sorry for a late reply,
from the top of my head: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/guide-odin-flash-guide-t1671969
That's for SGS3 but everything goes exactly the same for Note 3. As for the firmware files you need to register an account at samfirmware (just type it in google) and search for your model and download the package. Unzip it, inside there are two files, just ignore the small one and extract the other. Flash it accordingly to the tutorial from the link above.
EDIT: Read the tutorial and make sure you understand it before flashing! This if done incorrectly may brick your device.
Don't worry, first times always hurts;P

What model is it? Take a look at the back of the battery, its written in a sticker.
Google this : samfirm xda
Download the program. Download your stock firmware with the program.
Download odin. You can find it in sammobile.com or google it.
Flash it.
Hey btw, I'm not responsible for any damage. Okay? I'm just trying to help.
