It has a internal SD card slot, why do u care 16 vs 32? You can buy a 64gb microsd for ~$50

I have a lot of apps on my S4 now and it is 32gb with 64gb SD card. On my S3 I have 16gb and I didn't like the message you are running out of space.

Mine S5 (SM-G900S) has 32 gb.

I haven't had to compromise and am happy with 16GB and my 64GB external.

Sgs II 32 gb

HI, does anyone know from which website I can buy SGS II (black) 32GB in UK?
Have you tried amazon

as far as i know there is no 32gb Galaxy S2 even though it was announced.
However you can spend the extra cash on a 64gb micro sd card which is apparently working on the galaxy s2

Yes, look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18774825&postcount=74
It is not official since 64GB cards has just arrived, that is why Samsung doesn't say this in the spec I guess. But it seems to work fine.
It's more like 59.5 GB, after FAT32 overhead I've been running the SanDisk 64GB microSDXC in my SGS2 for almost 2 months now, without problems. It acts just like any microSDHC card except that it's bigger.

Sumsung doesn`t include SDXC cards in spec because SG2 does not support exfat. The SDcard association selected exFAT file system in the official SDXC specification.

64GB preorder

is there anyone reputable offering a 64gb pre order?
Expansys in Portugal is accepting pre-orders for 16, 32 and 64gb
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, but there is no available price for any version.
Is the 64 GB a release model, or is it like the 64 GB version of the S3 where it'll just come out sometime in the future.
why does it says edit/delete when there is no option to delete your post? -_-

I guess there will be a price difference between the 16gb, 32gb and 64gb. Since there is a micro sd slot, what would justify getting a 64gb as opposed to a 16 gb and just load up on the microsd card (guess it would work with a 64gb micro sd).

Class number indicates how fast the read and write is. The larger the number the better.
SDHC is your standard micro sd card up to 32gb. While the SDXC can go up to 2 TB i think? Its format will also be exFat meaning it can read/store single file greater then 4gb. Not sure if SDXC exFat format is supported for S4? since S4 can read up to 64gb i assume it can read the 64gb class 10 SDXC cards. if not then you can convert it to FAT32 but it wont read a file which is greater than 4gb

Yes... unless that type is not supported by S4, i havent researched the S4 side yet. Currently im using a SDXC Class 10 64gb exFat format on my Nokia 808.
I think the packaging has the Green android robot guy with a label of Supports Android or something. I threw away my packaging but im using a Sandisk Ultra if that helps.
I cant vouch for S4 personally since i havent tried inserting it yet. Hope someone here has tried.
Thanks
Is there anyone that know for sure what is the best memory card for the s4 I9500?
I got a samsung 64gb pro class 10 sdxc. Works perfectly in my s4. Formatted the card within the phone and am able to transfer files larger than 4gb in it, so am assuming the phone formatted it to exfat.
Yea it's an option but I think I will take the 32gb, but for the 32gb I didn't find the xc model.
How is sdhc hc-1? Will it work or is there a better one that will work?

As of now i dont think you can move apps to the sd card. Only music, videos, images and other nonapp essential files can be stored in the sd card. Maybe after rooting?

actually, you can move the apps into the sd. Samsung made the change after the numerous complains about lack of space

From my understanding, the Galaxy S4 will only read up to 64gb. anything higher, phone won't read it. Also, some say to be careful with the Sandisk cards as they could be difficult to work with on the S4. I have a Samsung 32gb card and it works flawessly.

Carrier/storage question

I'm still holding out for the 32gb version of the Galaxy S4 on Sprint.
Any word?
Also is there a way to get the 32gb version on Verizon and use it on Sprint?
Thanks

no clue about your question. But why not just get a big SD card?
A 64GB card is a lot cheaper than the price difference between a 16GB to 32GB phone
I want the bigger memory on the phone PLUS the 64 gb sd card

Well get a different phone then. The S4 only comes in 16gb on Sprint.
This message brought to you in part by Sprint and the letters GS and the number 4

Why no 32 GB out of the gate?

Samsung did this the S4 too- why does this make sense for them to do this? I refuse to buy a 16gb phone with the ROM taking about half.
I know it has an SD card but there are many things that just don't work as well.

So far, the ONLY reason I'm not getting the S5 is because of not getting 32GB internal..... I hate needing to manage what goes on the SD Card, what goes on a Foldermount link to the externalSD, etc..
