Can't stand swype, is there a way to permanently disable it? I keep trying to type on my phone, and Swype seems to be the culprit as it is doing funky things to my word creation.. I never had this problem on my Razr HD or Razr Maxx...

That screen is the settings for the keyboard. Where it says keyboard swipe, click it, then select none.

Even after doing that, it still comes back up under the 'Language and Input' screen as clicked..

A really cool one I am currently using is called throttlelock. It doesn't use numbers, it uses little dots and a pattern that you set. Google "throttlelock" and the throttleapps website should come up and you can download it from there. Plus it's very easy to make youre own skins. The one I just made uses little nikebaseball logos as the dots. I really suggest checking this out.

Yes I agree Throttle Lock is perfect I been using it for almost 2yrs. now.
I think AppLock will help.
Having trouble selecting text or moving the cursor? Swype can help, but the decided to make it hard to find this feature. Swype from the "Info" button to the "SYM" button to reveal the editing keyboard.

Coming from someone who has been using swype since it first showed up, this is nothing new, but thanks for sharing the information to all the new users.
Another cool feature is if you swype up off the keyboard for a letter, it will capitalize it for you.

There's a lot of options for alternative keyboards in the play store. I know that swiftkey allows you to customize button size (to an extent), but I'm not too familiar with your other options.
Anyone see this message without holding the app switcher button?
It just randomly appears, even when my fingers are no where near the capacitive buttons.
If the current app supports it, all of a sudden I have split screen view when I don't want it.
Anyone know if there is something I can disable in package disabler to turn it off? I don't ever use it.

I installed a theme from the theme store and for some reason it stopped. Same for my wife. Can't understand why this wasn't fixed in the update. Seems like an issue with everyone.
The newest Software Update fixes the random activation of SplitScreen.
I've never had this issue.
