REQUEST - A few official ATT 4.4.2 files :) - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General

Hey all -
I was curious if I might ask for a hand with something. I'm looking for a handful of files from the official ATT 4.4.2 update. These files should be accessible without root and are not in any way sensitive or anything like that (I'm looking for csc/apn/build.prop sorts of things) - would someone that has taken the bold leap to official ATT 4.4.2 PM me? I can give you specifics on the files that I am looking for, and walk you through the process of getting them to me if need be.
Thanks much yall

PLEEEEAAAASEEE! lol

Make tweaked as At&t friendly as possible it being an NB4 Tmo based ROM. I'm running it as is now testing but need to compare what's needed for the ATT side without using leaked versions of said files any help would be grossly appreciated

Fair enough. I never took the plunge for the official OTA so I won't be of much help. But... there should be many users out here with what you need.

Yep what wally said - the files I'm looking for are the sort I used to make a 4.3 version of something I put together for TMo play a bit nicer on the ATT side of things. I have most of what I need I believe (though I would still very much like to check it against the "official" stuff) but there are a few I would really like to see the official of before going very far down that road for 4.4.2 is all.

PM sent

Sent you a PM as well.

Thanks guys

No worries - and thanks to all that responded
I now have what (I believe) I need - I'll reach out again if this looks not to be the case.
Thanks again!

Hi again all
I was wondering if any of those official-4.4.2-ATT folks might humor me one more favor...
Similar to what I asked previously, I'm looking for some files on /system - specifically I'm looking for the entirety of the /system/vendor directory. Please PM me for instructions on how to grab this if needed (and if interested of course), and I am incredibly thankful and appreciative for any and all that are willing to help.
Thanks!

Just a thought, but perhaps it may be possible to use http://developer.samsung.com/androi...Emulators-for-Android-Application-Development and load csc, vendor info etc, via the copy of stock 4.4.2 rom courtesy UrDroid here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2584994 ? Keeping in mind you are running the sdk via an IDE comparable to Netbeans, IntelliJ, or even Eclipse(cringe shudder...shiver...).

Does anyone know any ROM for Galaxy S that contains the default experience? I want no Samsung crap apart from the e-book reader(I might be interested in it). Would it be possible to achieve this? It will be great if its based on Froyo.

OH MY GOD! Are you for real?!? Finally a rom without the touchwiz??
Thank you very much man, been waiting for this since I bought the phone!
I guess U must thank the creator - LeshaK and somebody else, who posted this link in another thread on XDA
Have fun and remember that this kitchen is based on JPC and some ppl have problems with this ROM version.
Lol, spoken too early! Thought this had stock android launcher and apps (like stock calendar, clock, etc.)...I was wrong!
Can you remove touchwiz?

How do i create my own Flashable Rom that works with CW Recovery?

Is it as easy as taking a Nandroid backup? Just curious as i am making a Rom tailored to my liking, nothing special as i am just putting together bits and pieces of others peoples work, and would like to share (and give credit where it is due of course!)
Thanks!
Good question. I would like to know also if there is some kind of tutorial out there but that is probably a stupid idea. I'd even be happy with learning how to create a flashable theme...
Such is life...
Good luck!

I dont think there is anything written specifically for the vibrant yet, but there are lots of other guides floating around for other phones and while they wont be exactly right for our phones, they should at least give you an idea of whats necissary.

I am no developer. I have no ROM making skills..
However developers don't have the time to do this for us. Plus it is always helpful when a forum has one of these.

[MINI GUIDE] Phone Vocabulary - x8 Specific

This thread is being created to explain, in short, a few common phone 'terms.' Now although there are many threads explaining the same thing they are 'thicker' and written differently. A different guide will help a different person. I think it is valid that there is more than one explanation of the same thing. If you have ANY suggestions, please leave them in post form below. I have explained this relative to the Xperia x8 and this is why it is in our territory.
Remember that this is a MINI guide. So not every term in the android language will be explained. For a more complicated guide see HERE or on the everything x8 w8 thread here. Both guides are different.
Anyway Here is a mini guide about phone terms:
A ROM stands for Read Only Memory, ususally on this site referring to the phone's internal memory where your apps are stored. It's like an operating system. (OS) When people say they're flashing a new ROM, it usually means they are installing a new 'operating system'. A custom rom may have new features different to the STOCK rom.
The term Stock usually means the version of something installed by the manufacturer. Or in other words, the stuff already on that thing.
An .APK is a Package on Android. Usually you will meet these when installing apps on your phone. This is, simply put, just a file extension, like .exe on windows.
Rooting is simply giving your phone administrators rights. No roms or anything. Once rooted you could install clockworkmod which would allow you to install a rom that would work on you STOCK kernel (the one that comes with xperia).
A kernel is a set of instructions to a phone. different kernels or custom kernels (not stock) enable you to flash some more advanced roms as not all roms will work on STOCK kernel.
Also, in most cases, different kernels allow overclock and undervolt. These things allow you to make your device run faster.
Unlocking your BootLoader is required to install a custom kernel. Unlocking a bootloader can be difficult and if done wrong, can brick your device completely.(make it useless like a brick) This is why I did not do it until a few weeks ago - because I was scared. If you do however find yourself bricked, look to my guide no further than HERE.
You flash kernels with Flashtool. But you MUST have an unlocked BootLoader to do this.
If I was to recommend a rom, I would say MiniCyanogenmod (CM for short). The developer, nAa, focuses on getting the galaxy nexus android - pure version. Check out my review on the stable ever wonderful MiniCM9 HERE.
Links to Flashtool, ROMS and other things mentioned will be in my other guides hyperlinked in the article.
Please be generous with the 'Thanks' if you appreciate my effort.
Special Thanks to I Am Nice for his consistent helpful feedback

Pls don't disrespect chris. I can tell you he knows what he's saying (he didn't get to become RT for nothing).
I admire your efforts, but please add more definitions. For example: you didn't really explain what "bootloader" means. And like chris has said, it's already explained (in morr detail) in another thread. Hopefully you'll add more jargons in the near future. Good job though.
Edit: you may want to report those users thay are stalking you.
