Battery's great on mine, sorry it doesn't work for you.

working great here to , give it some time for it to condition the battery it needs a few cycles and it will improve + its new and your playing with everything constantly on it right now.

Great here too.. Getting a full days use easily..

What's your signal strength like? If the G5 is like any other phone a low signal can really eat through the battery because the radio transmitter has to constantly transmit at full power to hit the tower. Try using Wi-Fi if you aren't already doing so and see if that helps.

Nexus 7 deepsleeping while charging?

As the title says I'm a little confused about the way how nexus 7 acts when charging. I have never even noticed this thing before but it seems that my nexus 7 is sleeping while it charges. I have tried many combinations like stock ROM+stock kernel , cm11+cm kernel, cm11+ franco and cm11+M-kernel. Every time I check cpu spy I see that device has been almost all time deepsleeping. I'm using the stock charger.
Here's example screenshot (sort period yes, but there you can see it):

I've read many forums and I have experiences with other devices that deepsleep shouldn't be there during charging due charging process. Device works otherwise fine and it charges normally but I'm just wondering if something is wrong on the hardware side. Some information and experiences with other nexus 7 devices would be highly appreciated! I know this is almost meaningless thing, but I'm just curious to know if this is some kind of feature of nexus 7 or if I just have sleepy unit
Thank you!

Radio shows as off+battery frain

So I have been having battery issues on my Note 3 for a while now. Android system has been a large offender of using my battery, but I've also noticed that there are gaps in my mobile network signal. From this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26891039&postcount=14 I'm gathering that my radio is off? This happens when screen is on, but mostly when it's off. During these times I can get texts, and everything works fine. Just my battery starts to drain faster. The area under my camera also gets rather hot. This is my 2nd Note 3 with this issue, the first one was RMAed because it would not get messages on time.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Running Jasmine ROM 2.4.1.

I believe with your radio off you should drain less battery. Mine does it too, and I have awesome battery life without being rooted. Usually well over 24 hours with heavy use, and 6 hours or more on screen time. I recently did a factory reset so maybe that's what you need for better life?

What drains the battery (phone is not in deep sleep)

Something uses the cpu at 400MHz so many hours.
How do I know what exactly.
I noticed that every phone discussion has a topic about battery saving tips.
Is there a thread with Note 4 tips?
Thanks!!!

I've noticed that the 'indexing service' is the culprit for battery drain on my Note 4. Just got it a few days ago. Any advice how to stop this without having to root?

This is always my secret to extra long battery life. Purchase it from the Play Store
Android (5.1.1) doesn't need loads and loads of CPU power to function buttery smooth.
Lower the CPU clock speed, that way you'll be using less CPU power which will in turn save you battery life.

Battery Life: (Android 10 SP Aug 2021)

Hey Guys!
I used to get close to 7.50hrs of SOT when the phone was on Android 9 with Nokia 6.1 Plus but now it's close to 5.50hrs in Android 10 despite Battery Saver Optimization (Recently I replaced the Battery, Original Of Course).
Do you guys get the same result?

Again, it depends on the mode of using, but of course I doubt you have bought a battery in excellent condition even if it is the original one.
You can try some battery hardware or software analyzer to check the real capacity.
I bought the original same like before no issues on that. You can compare it yourself.
