Your going to have to do it I could maybe do it but porting a ROM without the actual device is really really difficult and takes time most people don't have I'll look into ways on improving your kernel because that's what is going to actually speed up your device in the mean time to seriously help you with game performance check out GLtools it will tweak 3D graphics engine and will greatly improve 3D graphics preformance

Well your going to have trouble finding someone to do it but like I said the ROM it self will have very little effect on your performance it is the kernel that will boost performance

Quadrant score

Hi all, I searched for another thread about quadrant scores of SII but can't find, So I decide to make 1 and compare our scores on each kernel firmware. And I also have a question, I see most of people that using kernel speedmod K2-18 , have scores like 4300 or so, I'm using firmware 2.3.6+ kernel speedmod K2-18 , and my top result after reboot phone is 3971 which is close to scores of standart kernel, and why I achieve so low score compare to other speedmod SII? Is that because I didn't overclock it or so? I did the test with 256 mb RAM used.
P.S. the model of my phone is GT-I9100.

I think the answer is if your phone works then don't worry about the score.
Scores don't make your phone work better, but inflate your ego.

I don't even bother testing it. The S2 is fast enough for me not to even worry. On the S1 I tested it constantly.

Quadrant is old, easy to cheat, not really multi threaded, the results are inconsistent, and its basically an awful measure of performance.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
+ Quadrant is a poor measure with consecutive tests of 3440 3370 4100 and 3770 .
The variation is to big to be of any use .
Thankfully mods usually close these dumb posts .

Definitely this is, was playing angry birds this morning and this beats all roms for smoothness. If not this id say Pcfs v5 was second best ive used
im quite sure any latest 2.3 rom we have will do the job
I'm pretty that lagless angrybirds isn't possible with an ARMv6 phone. Angry birds was back ported from ARMv7 hence also seeing lag in older iOS devices also, 1st and 2nd gen.
You can get smooth game play until level 1, second slide. However, if you do experience lag during the beginning of each level, best is to wait for about 5-10 seconds before beginning.

Yeah, i've noticed that, but i was wondering how is performance on 2.1 rom -
Yesterday my internet was down, so i noticed that in 2.3, both tethering doesn't works - Can i get it working on rooted 2.1 Rom ????
And i think thaat 2.1 Rom should have best gaming.

If 2.1 "sucks" for both 3D and 2D then explain why on GT540 I would get
35fps on 2.1 for NenaMark while swiftdroid/PC-fighter CM7.2, Superfast froyo etc.. will ONLY give me 25-28fps.
19.XXfps for Glbenchmark with 2.1 while only getting 11-13fps on swiftdroid/PC-fighter CM7.2, superfast froyo etc...?
*All Custom roms all had proper 3D and 2D working

You can tether by using a custom kernel for 2.1. Go with either Quarx or MMxtreme boot666 kernels.
After than, ensure you have a rooted phone. This can be done by "Z4root" if you haven't yet rooted it.
Download an app called "Wireless Tether for Root Users" to begin tethering

You'd experience intense lag on second slide, level 1. As i have previously stated, angry birds was an application designed for iphone 3gs which had armv7. Angry birds is actually a 'back port' for armv6 devices.

Adreno 430 underclocked

Does anyone notice that on the latest build .185, the GPU is at 510mhz?
but when you use kernel tweak tools, you can set it to 630mhz
question is, is there any other way to raise the clock to 630mhz permanently without using any apps?
worth noting !
Maybe this is the way Sony to reduce heat for Z3.

120mhz difference, it will take 15 more seconds till it starts throttling?
i though the A57 cores were the main cause of overheating there
Well after gaming, browsing and everything else you do with your phone. I dunno what the fuss is about anymore.

Thanks for the info. I have noticed that the performace goes bad in this version. Now i already fix it. I thing that only way to perform this is creating a custom 185 kernel with full speed by default.

Oh I missed install twrp and SuperSU systemless root.
Guys, it's a phone, not a tablet to play with. Even if it's underclocked the performance is fine. More power means more heat.

Hi Dragon
Kernel.....
Find it on HTC mania...
Not sure though if it will work but remember...... Your device cant perform better than it is ?

Yes ....if you want serious gaming performance boost...... you can try one risky thing....
"LOWERING RESOLUTION OF SCREEN "
it might make your games look a bit blurry but performance boost should be visible??

black assests in certain games(READ DESC)

when I play a game for example like stellaris galaxy command I cant get anywhere apart from my main starting place, whatever I click brings me to a black screen that I can only can get out of by using the back button to return to the main lobby menu. what can I do? and also in angry birds go there are buttons that are blacked out but I played that game only a bit when it came out, so idk if it was the games fault and I am too lazy to download that game now.

try updating adreno gpu drivers, when i had a galaxy note 3, there was a thread with updated gpu drivers.
speaking of pubg, it has issues with samsung touchwiz 6.0.1 and it force closes.
i asked if it was exynos, because mali gpus have uncompatibility issues and graphic glitches in some games.
if everything fails, try switching to a newer rom. i assume you are using the stock 6.0.1 firmware?
---------- Post added at 10:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 PM ----------
adreno 330 is still a good gpu with higher bandwidth than many new mid range gpus. if you use graphic tools, set resolution to 720p( it looks good and sharp compared to 540p), disable all graphic effects, shadows and everything. the game should run smoothly 30 fps. 2gb of ram could be an issue, the new updates brought lots of features and fills the ram, the game uses almost 1gb of ram which is more than the available free ram on galaxy s5. using stock touch wiz with all that bloatware and background processes won't leave enough free ram to play the game without stuttering

So Will You Show Me How To Update Adreno Driver Because I Never Did It
If you play pubg lite the game should run at the default settings flawlessly. I didn't talk about gl tools; i was talking aboit pubg gfx tools.
I don't have a note 3 now, it was several years ago. There is a thread some where. Search for it, the drivers are flashed via recovery. Very simple. I cannot help you without having to do research and some home work again which would take some time, good luck buddy.
Running a custom should already have updated drivers anyway. So do a nandroid backup and test another rom
