I do not get it?

Kenny is the resident comedian going by recent posts...
Themes - in comparison to other devices there aren't so many for the Note 3. It's not an easy job, there are a lot more themes for the Nexus and non-TW based ROMs such as CyanogenMod and AOSP.
Look in the themes and apps forum, and check the custom ROMs, many come with a theme choice.
You can also check the Xposed Module section, there are some modules that can customise themes.
Can't recommend anything specific, don't know your tastes, and I'm still on 4.3.

Thanks for the reply..
I dont get what are roms? Will I loose warranty if I install a custom rom into my note 3?
As per my taste I will go ahead with a theme that is black and white but can go ahead with other themes as well but also focuses on the lock screen...

Frankly, if you have to ask what ROMs are, you're not ready to try customisation.
I politely suggest you read a lot more on these forums. All your questions are answered somewhere here.
You were an iphone owner before, yes? My advice is to get used to your new device for a while, and read and read. After that, read some more. Repeat ad nauseum...

And about the "I don't get what are roms?", by asking this on xda, you deserve a whipping.

Try smart launcher.
It doesn't fit the precise criteria, but it can be themed.

Hey, cut the OP some slack. This is the wrong forum for the post, but at least they didn't spell kernel "kernal"
But seriously, <3me, these sorts of post really do belong in the General discussion forum. Now, if this were a real project underway (as in, in actual development) instead of a wishlist, that's the sort of thing that's good for the development forum.
If everyone starts posting their wishlists in the development forum, this place will get so cluttered (not that this doesn't happen all the time anyways) that it will be difficult to follow the actual projects (custom kernels, distributions, etc).

Ahh, big words. Ok, your not a little baby, your a prepubesent teenage angst with a body count GIRL. Let the mods do their job, quit stomping through threads with dumb crap like that.
Ppl, questions get posted in the dev section all the time. To stop yourself looking like a drooli.g fool, be an ADULT and ignore it; the mods will take care of.
That's what their not paid to do, after all.

I for one would like to see this moved to Development because the OP does have some valid ideas. This is pretty much what I would like in a ROM as well so it would be nice to hear some feedback from some actual Devs rather than just someone who feels like bashing the OP (johnsongrantr).

[Q] Froyo with HTC Sense ID ?

I'm expecting my epic any day now
studying the site for the last few days and came across this :
youtube.com/watch?v=GPrcdbIuWaU
does anyone know which ROM this actuallly is?
thanks!
Hey thanks for joining XDA.
Unfortunately I don't know what ROM that is, but I'm sure someone here will come up with the answer.
And just a heads up (not to pick on but to inform) please post future question threads like these in the General forum. The Development forum is for specifically discussing development. I know there are a lot of bad examples already but the more we can prevent the quicker that will change.
Judging by the title, you're asking because it appears to be HTC Sense UI. It unfortunately is not. It's just a "theme". You can tell by the lockscreen and the system info screen he calls up. It's Froyo build DJ29 (which is one of the Froyo build leaks on this forum). You can however achieve this look even on a stock Epic. The weather clock and some of the toggle widgets (vibrate, wifi, etc) are Beautiful Widgets from the market. The dock and calendar widget are part of LauncherPro, also from the market. Both apps have themes you can download that emulate that HTC Sense UI look. The live wallpaper is Nexus Revamped (you guessed it, from the market). Have fun with your new Epic!

Thanks los1223. When you say 'stock Epic' do you mean a unrooted Epic with just a simple theme change? .... can't wait to get the Epic... should be here tomorrow...

Yes. You can install the launcher pro app and the beautiful widgets app and theme them. They do not require root to install/customize.

Best, most complete rom for the l337?

Yes! The title says it all. Thanks!
if you like touchwiz, then you cant go wrong with iB4STiD's GoldenEye
heres the link:

they're all complete in their own right. each OP will have outlined what works, what doesn't, what mods have been included and what has been removed. threads like these are generally pointless and often shut down quickly. the best way to find out what you like is to make a backup and try a few. cheers

If you want everything to work with no exceptions - then stock ROM. But you don't list any requirements, so "best" and "most complete" could mean anything.
Complete AOSP gets you stock android - it is complete android, and best in some users opinions. After that there is the full spectrum of ROMs and it depends what your definitions are regarding your choice of terms. Do the gimmicky gestures matter? How about some of the Touchwiz features.
That is why there are hundreds of XDA devs creating their own ROMs.
It is like trying to define the best pizza - we all know it is thin crust NY style, but i like mine with anchovies and peperoncini rings - the best and most complete, but shockingly not everyone agrees.

omg yes; ZERO problems here. LOVE it.
Edit your subject line in the op to say something like What rom are you running or whatever...and let others tell you what is going on. Then decide on your own.
I am running Omega i9505 rom. Works perfect..then Wanam is awesome also. All the roms have a special something that make them all unique in their own way.
Otherwise this thread will get Ax'ed.
Closed, we don't need more "best rom" threads, please review the rom threads and make your own decision. Remember, all of them are 99.9% the same (literally).

Is there any good roms?

I have the Canadian Bell S4.
I am using the CM10 nightlies, and while they have been stable for me. The phone unlocks itself so easy, between the home button waking it up and then the second screens off the lock screen. And no camera right from the lock screen.
Is there any other real options? I was wanting PAC man rom, but apparently it's not out for this phone yet??
What other options do I have? I tried looking in the development section, but it's way harder to tell what those threads are than it should be.

SlimBean is my personal recommendation. You can enable / disable home button unlocking, and also disable lockscreen widgets, yet keep what widgets you have added after disabling them. Sounds like what you want.

Getting someone not used to reading those thread titles is just a mess. And it's even harder sometimes to figure out if the rom works with my Canadian phone.
Didn't ask for best either. Just a couple to try. But if it's not allowed, then sorry.

No worries...but these tend to turn into a best ROM thread very quickly. I hope you find one you like. There have been some good suggestions here.
No best roms threads because it makes the developers whose roms don't get mentioned feel bad? Those can of threads can be really helpful for newcomers to the device. On a phone like the S4 there are an incredible amount of roms to choose from. Getting people's opinions is a good thing. Maybe you should let us decide if we want the threads or not. We're capable of making our own decisions and if we don't wanna read then it's simple, we don't read it. Just sayin'.

[Q] What's the best AOSP ROMs at this moment?

HI there, guys!
In your precious opinions, what's the best AOSP ROMs available for Note 3?
I'm really tired of TouchWiz (once again, just like on Note 1 and Note 2...), but I'm noticing that it's taking so much time to see a really stable AOSP ROM. I'm afraid of messing things here with all these KitKat issues stuff also, so I really would appreciate so much your opinions!
Thanks!

to be frank.. same like u.
I m really tired with such questions.
If u want aosp, try to read, and understand. choose what u like. try.
Dev has spend so much time to build. for user to read, it will take much lesser time to do.
if u scared to mess , don't move to aosp. stick with what u have is the best.
this type of Q is prohibited at xda. and has been asked so many times.

I'm really sorry if I bothered you so much. The fact is that, actually, I am reading A LOT the whole day. In fact, I'm reading a lot of threads related to stock and AOSP ROMs since yesterday, just because I am for the third day in a row trying to solve a bootloop on my device running Omega ROM.
As I said, I just made that question because I'm noticing that the stability related to AOSP ROMs (and even stock ones) are longing to be really safe, differently from the period after Note 1 and Note 2 releases.
Again, I'm really sorry if my post bothered you so and so much. The fact is that my point of view when trying to get users opinions was due to a concrete point of view. It wasn't a pure free stupid question.
Best cheers.
Edit: It's not difficult to see very well accepted threads about this kind of subject in other devices forums after a simple search. And just to be clear. I'm not seeking for a verdict. In instead of that, I just would like to hear about suggestions. That was my goal.
And I sincerely confess that I would never expect this kind of rude and arbitrary post from a Recognized Contributor that has 1065 thanks here in XDA, since this is a community where people share knowledge and look for help and suggestions.

After watching some YouTube reviews and reading about it on both threads I really think this is, in fact, a great option. Glad to here it's pretty stable for you in your daily use! I was thinking about testing CM11 official builds, but temasek's ROMs has a lot of (great and welcome) features! For example, Holo!

Yeah, that's the point. The customization is great. And, even, they have a more clean and beautiful layout than the ugly Samsung TouchWiz interface.
Did you try temasek's ROM? If not yet, try it! It seems pretty stable! I will give a try to this one on the next days!
Im on C-rom and i like it because of art and its stable. Just remember, every user different opinions.
