[REQ] Change Recent Apps Style (LewaOS 5) - Android Software Development

I have Karbonn A9+ with 512 MB RAM (Android 4.1.2). I installed Lewa OS 5 ROM. In which recent apps window is associated with the default launcher.
Like in Google Now launcher when we swipe left, we get Google Now, similarly in Lewa when we swipe left we get recent apps window.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So due to low RAM sometimes the launcher closes and when I hold home button for multitasking, I need to wait till the launcher gets open. So this also restricts me from changing launcher because when I will hold home button I will have to wait till the default launcher of opened completely.
Only one thing I found working which is Xposed Module- XuiMod, from which I can change recent apps style to Ginger Bread, but that's old and I can not swipe away apps.
So if possible can anyone tell me how to get stock recent apps style. I am a newbie so I will require more explanation, sorry for it though.

[Q] Paranoid Expandable Desktop

So I've been working on a theme to post at mycolorscreen.com and when I was creating the wallpapers I took a screenshot
to get the exact size of the screen not realizing the soft key buttons covered the bottom portion of my theme (in Tablet UI).
I can get around using Apex Actions to see my recent apps and quick settings, but the problem is when I'm in expandable
desktop mode and I'm using an app I don't have the back or home button therefore I have to hold down the power button and
get out of expandable desktop mode and its just a pain in the butt and such a hassel. My question is is there anyway I can
use my volume up button for home and the volume down for back? Or perhaps an app someone knows off that could help me
with my situation?
Thanks in advance, elRei
Flash the latest Paranoid beta (v2.99 1/14/13) and turn on pie controls under Settings>Toolbars and you'll have this when swiping from the bottom of the screen in expanded desktop mode.

lol I knew I should've updated when Goo Manager told me too, thanks

Hiding the buttons

I find the virtual buttons a bit of a nuisance, I would much rather use gestures. I originally wanted to hide them only on my home screen, but it seems it's all or nothing with qemu.hw.mainkeys in build.prop.
I'm fine getting rid of them, however I'm wondering if there is a gesture system I can have instead, for example a swipe from bottom takes me to the home screen?
Edit: I'm on rooted stock 4.3.
I'm using cataclysm ROM which has a unique feature which fades out the buttons after ten seconds in any app. Other wise I think there's an xposed module that can have swipes to navigate.

Thanks man, turns out I was Googling for the wrong thing - once I figured out that they were called navigation bars I came across an app called " GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys" for rooted devices. (For future people)
I'd rather keep with rooted stock for now but I will be sure to keep an eye on it for when I decide to dabble in roms.

Here is how to enable the system UI tuner on wileyfox swift 2 to customize the navbar

Wileyfox stock ROM seems to have a built-in system UI tuner to modify the navigation bar and the status bar. The system UI tuner is not something new in Android, and editing the icons of the status bar is available via the settings, but the thing is that Wileyfox phones have the ability to customize the navigation bar just like the settings in Lineage OS or in other custom ROMs.

How to enter the system UI tuner?
This is very easy, all what you have to do is to enter the activities ( the best way is through downloading a launcher like nova launcher and then adding a widget from the launcher itself called 'activities'). Then go to System UI activities and then go to System UI Tuner (.tuner.TunerActivity). That's it!
You can find a lot of the so-called hidden features under activities like the Marshmallow Land (the game when you press on M logo on android 6.x, you can play it on Android 7.x by adding it as activity) or the screen saver, but we know them all.

Decent workaround for 7.3.2.3 Custom Launcher block on Fire HD 8 2020

i found a pretty good workaround for 7.3.2.2 blocking custom launcher

set it to automatically run Nova Launcher( or any launcher )
it works so far on my 2020 edition fire HD 8 7.3.2.3 ( just updated)
Every time I turn on my fire, the FIRE launcher opens up for a few seconds( of course) but then once the Boot Apps program initiates...... opening Nova Launcher.......
So without having to click on ANYTHING..... My custom launcher automatically opens up for me!
Not perfect. but using this with a custom navigation bar with the home button set to ALSO open Nova Launcher IF you do a long press its better than nothing.
until Amazon fks this up on the next update, at least this DOES work.
Enjoy!
Can you tell me what you used to get the home button to long press onto nova launcher please?
