Lockscreen - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, Im using this app to turn off and on pattern lockscreen via widget.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jraf.android.nolock
But when lockscreen is turned off, It's working half way, I don't need to enter pattern when I'm turning on my phone, but when I'm getting notification in notification bar, and click on it to to launch app, then I have to enter pattern... Can I disable it somehow?

Hi,
Open the messaging app.
Go to settings, notification settings, and untick preview message.
It's nothing to do with that, the lockscreen displays a big ugly grey bar stating you've got a new message or a missed call whenever you get one. It looks crap and I want to disable it too. I started my own thread a few weeks ago but got no response apart from replies like above which aren't the answer. Another one told me to turn notifications off, but although that stops the grey block on the lockscreen, it stops absolutely any notification of new messages, etc so isn't ideal really. There'll be a way to disable it with root access, but you could always install a different lockscreen to prevent it if you wanted.
Nothing under System Settings -> My device -> Lock screen?
- Multiple widgets
- Lock screen widgets
Also while on the lock screen, you can drag down and edit the widgets, try doing that while the notification thing is up?
Doesn't work unfortunately, it just overrides whatever widget you have on the lockscreen.
Does anyone know, short of using a different lockscreen?

How to simply turn the screen on when notification occurs?

Hi all,
is there a way to turn the screen on when a notification comes up?
I'm using Nova Prime an I've setup the lockscreen with pin code to unlock... is there any app that could help me to switch screen on and/or get notification on lock screen?

Status bar notification doesn't unlock screen

When I receive notifications from certain apps (Facebook and others I forgot) if I pull my status bar down and tap the notification nothing happens. My lock screen just remains on and then shuts off. I don't have a passcode lock or pattern. For example, if I get an email I hit the power button to turn my screen on, pull down my status bar and click the email it will open up to my email. With some apps I tap the notification and nothing happens. Never had this issue before on older Samsung phones.

The times I've seen this happen where when the app that sent the notification was running behind the lock screen. Example would be Wi-Fi tether. I'd pull down the notification and tap the Wi-Fi tether icon and nothing happened. If I was at my home screen it would unlock and go to the tether app. Not sure if you see the same thing.

S6 Edge Power Saving Mode Icon

Is there ANY way to get the Power Saving Mode icon out of my notifications bar and off the lock screen?! While still in still being engaged of course.
I got it off my lock screen by disabling all lock screen notifications, only disabling 'setting notifications' in the notification menu does not do it. I did not manage to get off the notifications bar yet.

I wish Samsung would fix this! It's annoying.

Notifications help

I moved from iphone x recently, have few questions about notifications on 0p6t
1.Is there any way to group notification s on lockscreen as well as panel by app.
2. I have turned off ambient display and wake up phone to unlock by face id, on iphone when it is locked you get notification without showing the content, but when you look at it and unlock, the notification will expand and show the content on the lockscreen, any way to get this on 0p6t
3. When ever I try to reply from lockscreen, after it recognises my face and unlocks, it takes me to home screen and there I can reply, is there any way to reply directly from lockscreen.
Thanks.

1. Notifications are already grouped by app even on lock screen. Android starts grouping only after certain number of notifications
2. Not exactly, but Android has similar as well. You can change setting Apps & Notifications - Notifications - On the lockscreen to Hide sensitive content. Not as polished as iPhone x, but it works..
3. You can turn off Auto unlock once the screen is on setting under Settings - Security and Lock screen - Face Unlock

1.Okay
2. I have that setting but when ever it unlocks and I pull down from that notification to show content and reply...it takes me to homescreen and then shows the content. Not on ths lockscreen itself
3.I have already turned it off.
Thanks.
