when i open my Facebook chat and send message for my friend, i did not see in the end of message this <<< message sent from my city>>> , in android when i sent message for my freind i see this " message sent from Roma "
i have Samsung Omnia W 7.8 Interop unlock .

i went to Setting but i did not find GPS , i found just " location service " i did enable but the same problem when i send message

I don't really have Samsung devices are you running a custom rom? and have you tried basics deleting the app rebooting phone and reinstalling? and have you looked at the location settings in the facebook app it's self? and does your location settings work on anything else like twitter or google maps or anything else at all?

where are my contacts?
installed Hi Suite and synchronised my contacts from outlook 2007 to my smartphone. Everything worked fine (except 1 of the 318 contacts failed), but I cannot find my contacts on my smartphone. Any ideas?
Can someone upload it to somewhere? I click the download button from the site and it says Error 500:

Go to contacts - press menu - then go to display settings (my phone is in German, soI don't know how excactly) there you press on your mail account and check all the boxes.

Hi there...
I have some serious issue here...
Since i use Huawei Tablet Mediapad(before that i use Ideos and have same issues)... I can't connect it to my Laptop using this Hi Suite....
I don't know why this happen...since i do everything to make it connect like check the usb debugging and enabled the mtp initiator.. but it still says can't connected...
any of u fella know why this happen? i use Win XP SP 3 and my Mediapad use ROM B016 not Rooted yet...
Since Hi Suite that Ideos and Mediapad use is same at version.. i think it wouldn't be problem that i ask here isn't it? since there is have a thread bout Hi Suite..

i installed the rom turko frmw twice to fix the problems but nothing happens .. still found
1- when i open messages and press delete the phone restarts !!
2- when i open samsung apps and press get at any app it gives me error "this account cannot be used in this country .use a different account to sign in (3013)"
3-opera cant read arabic .!!!
... by the way i used wave 2 shp app - my mobile wave 1 - cause when i used s8500 shp app i cant call when i press call nothing happens so i used s8530 shp file and it can call but with the problems above

Similar problem here. But after i restart it is ok. Again the phone hangs in the middle of games and restarts.. Any solutions?? Or are there any new firmwares with spoofing???

Why are you flooding ? If no answer it has a reason. I wasn't here.Because i broken my pc and i only visit forum with mobile.and about SMS problem it has for me too.Unknown number problem is in all CFW which SHP is enabled and about Samsung apps flash again and First sign in samsung account on social hub and after upgrade samsung apps
im sorry for asking alot but it is my only mobile and samsung apps is essintial for me to download any thing ... i tried ur answer but i still have same problem !!

i flash with GingerIceJelly v2.0.RC1.zip, after i want 2 update GingerIceJelly v2.0.RC2, OTA Updater showing "Error fetching update info: No peer certificate" error showing.
I think the ota server is having a problem. I have the same error.

how to change msg font color or background color coz i cant read any text when msg received. msg font is black & background also black.
The metamorphosis theme solves the problem of background and text color when typing in landscape mode. But the messages are still hard to read.This is solved in gijv2 rc2

[RESOLVED] - not found "accounts and sync" nowhere
I can't find anywhere, especially on the menu, the "accounts and sync" option to add and edit account and synchronization information about the accounts.
edit: ==> my phone is the S6102b (y duos), and i not found the specific Q&A to him.
have 3 weeks I installed the ROM on GingerIceJelly v2.0.RC2...
during that time searched the forum and elsewhere, any information about, and not found anywhere ...

I am facing a problem in my SGY. Whenever i am opening samsung market it is asking me that there is a update available and there is no other option unless to press ok but then the update is not starting and it stucks @ samsung logo in the app.
Plz plz plz guide me to solve this prob...

You can try uninstall updates or delete data/cache in settings.
You can try Wipe dalvik + cache from cwm too.

I had the same issue, the best thing to do is either just get the new samsung market apk. on google
or you can try clearing resetting the phone which should work.
try delete your market app in system/app then download playstore.apk and put in system app, dont forget to change permission to rw--r---r

Hey guys . Im facing a problem at ' SMS Verification Failed ' on whatsapp . Tried to re-install it many times , but still having the same verification problem . Any ideas ? Help please .
U should receive an sms verification from whatsapp services, as i remember it's a 4 digit code, did u?
If so just enter the code and press verify
If verifying failed it mean either the whatsapp server down or u have problem connecting to it
In middle east some country blocked whatsapp for political unknown reason, where u connectting from?
Or try unable any firewall if exist
You may try proxy or vpn connection.... Serch play store for vpn clients
If you current cell number is blocked from receiving sms from whatsapp services u may try any of those free sms client and get a random free phone number, it should be a number with A US country code, apply to whatsapp setup and receive the sms via the sms app and you are good to go

Send a mail to [email protected] regarding this problem ,they ll send u a verification code. Using that we can activate.
