[Q] corrupted firmware - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I have recently purchased a galaxy s4 from tmobile. It came with Android 4.3 and is the m919 model. I was trying to make a back up before putting cynagenmod on my phone and somehow jacked up my firmware . Now It won't boot and just goes to the screen saying the firmware has been corrupted. I was looking for the stock os to put back on it before I try again. I have nothing on the phone and don't care as long as I can get it back up and running. I tried to download what I think is the stock rom from samsung updates but only the rapidgator is available and that said 16 hours when I started it yesterday at 7. Now its 6 the next day and still says 14 hours. Anyone have any advice or a link to the stock rom? I don't even care about the stock as I just want to put cynagenmod on it. Can I do that without putting the stock on? Thanks for any and all help.

I posted this in the wrong forum can someone move it? I'm really sorry I have been reading on so many different tabs and went to add a thread in the wrong tab.

[Q] Any roms supporting SGH-1337?

I have been watching GalaxyS4root for awhile now but am seeing very little being put out for supporting SGH-1337 AT&T devices, most everything is the 9500 or 9505's. Right now I tried the Gummy ROM but am not overall happy with it as I have had to load it like 5 times each time with a full wipe and new flash and each time things have gone south within a few hours of flashing.
Basically I am looking for a nice 4.4 ROM that is not flakey and will run more than a day without me having to reload. I have had this device since it first came out but it never updated past 4.2.2 and I went from 4.2.2 to 4.4. I am running cwm touch 6.0.4.4 and have the phone rooted so am okay with loading just about anything on this that won't corrupt within a few days.
Will the 9500's or the 9505 ROMs work on the 1337's for AT&T? Anyone have any good suggestions? If you do please provide me a link to the rom install page with it, I would appreciate that alot so I don't have to try searching around for the right page.
Thank you for your time and any suggestions.
Have you checked the development forum here on xda? There are a number of roms for the i337
I've got a SGH-I337M and was able to put both GoldenEye and KangaBean on it... As mentioned, the dev forums are excellent and offer pretty clear instructions on how to do it...

I'm not quite sure what is the region for O2.
Is it N9005 ? which region ?
you could actually find any stock rom from www.samfirmware.com
after that you can flash through ODIN.
you won't mess up your phone, BUT, you have to download the correct firmware for your device (e.g : if your device N9005, you have to use N9005 firmware. If yours is N900, then you have to use N900.)
and other than that, try to flash stock rom which is the same release with your current one or newer release.
If you don't understand on how to flash ODIN, pm me.

Seems like your phone is ****ed if you cant use the phone with a stock os. Did you flash the correct modem and bootloader to match the os version ?
I have had a few brinks over time and tried a few stock os's and I couldn't get it back but after 10 different stock os versions I got it back to work normally. I don't know why it is but some times different stock versions can have a different effect on your phone and bring it back from the dead
So you got 2 options. 1 take it to a repair shop as Sammy will charge you an arm and a leg to fix it with the knox counter triggered. 2 Keep trying with different stock os and hope for the best but do remember the modem and bootloader for each version.

last time i flashed the os was from kitkat to lollipop before flashing poprocks os. i have not flashed anything or modded/installed any tweaks within i suppose the month of the phone breaking. i still had the stock os from when i updated to lollipop but it didnt help. never touched the modem besides what the poprocks might have changed. only flashed firekat, stock lollipop, poprocks.

You can find all the info you need in this post.
Don't know what your firmware is but the oldest base you can go is NB1 (4.4.2).
Root the phone with towel root.
Install either flash fire or safestrap and flash the desire lollipop rom.
Hello! I don't want to start a new thread just yet, but I'm also stuck in a bootloop after a mishap during a manual update. Is it possible to recover any of the internal files when recovering the phone, or is it impossible? Honestly, I just want the files off of my phone more than anything else. There are a lot of memories there that I would love to save...I know, I know, I should have backed up those files, but that chance is gone now. :crying:

Unrooting to stock rom?

Hi,
I have been rooting my note 4 since it came out and familiar with any problems that may occur with kernels and stuff...
I decided to sell my phone and put it towards an S8 when i t comes out, i am sending my phone to Mazuma Mobile but wanted to unroot it first but the stock firmwares i am flashing though Odin are stuck on the Samsung start up screen.
I am not sure about unrooting and need some help, the latest firmware i have tried is "BTU-N910FXXU1BOC5-20150423120804" - i have the N910F model but it wont load beyond the Samsung bootup screen.
Anybody give me some help please and maybe point me to the correct firmware that i should be using?
Appreciate any help.
Thank you.
Think i need to use the latest firmware - N910FXXS1DQC3
Can someone point me to somewhere i can download this please?
Every link i check asks me to buy an upgrade account to down load this firmware.
Cheers
