one click stock nexus s JB

i took the liberty of replacing the images in the script in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1669093 with the ones in the JB factory image . the script works with JB . i will upload a link for stock JB . if that is an inconvenience for one of the two mentioned bellow... please tell me and i'll remove it . enjoy .
the method is simple :
1. enable usb debugging
2. run the script and follow instructions
3.now you run jb stock factory image .

Error 404 on the google doc link

I posted a question a few days ago asking how to unroot and revert back to stock. I have a physical phone problem with my device and need warranty repairs.
If I follow your post instr then I will end up with the JB OTA stock image, unrooted with a locked bootloader? If so it's the answer I've been looking for!

Does this work on all versions of nexus s?

No it does not work on all versions of ns... as it has the factory image for soju ( i9023 and i9020 international versions. Does the link work ? Where else could i upload a folder ?

It would get your phone to stock 4.1,1 official google image not rooted... as for the bootloader it locks it. But if not you could just use the "fastboot oem lock" comand

A script can accomplish anything that a user can accomplish on their own by doing the same commands. If there is a hardware or software error on the device that is preventing it from working the manual way then the script won't work either.

yes it is useful ..thats why i made it ,, its just an easier way ,:highfive:
but im too lazy to upload for all variants because the upload takes like an hour and here in romania it is 7 am

Hi ... yes I understand what you're saying. My phone's problem is possibly the micro USB port, seems to be working poorly. Phone charges but my PC and laptop suddenly don't recognise the device when connected by cable. Bear in mind I did drop my phone in muddy grass (ports got mud-filled) three days earlier, causing latent damage only now seen.
SO b4 I take it for warranty repair need to unroot etc but all methods required a working USB cable ... this method seems to be the answer I need. You agree?

You still need usb for this... you have to have usb debugging on....copy the folder to your computer and click run. It will do the rest with a few keys

So...I have not fully understood the OP's method. I foolishly assumed this procedure didn't require USB connection to my PC (which does not work anymore because PC no longer recognises my device via cable after some likely water damage).
Any idea how I can revert back to stock JB or ICS with a locked bootloader unrooted etc WITHOUT connecting to my PC via cable?? I really need to get this fixed under warranty.

Not directed at you or anybody but if you're not capable of installing drivers and unlocking with fastboot etc you have no business to actually have root access/unlocked bootloader etc.

Hi I just got my nexus 7 this week and I'm super excited about it.
One problem i am on build number jro03s and dont know how to root this build number because Wugfresh his rootkit does not support this build.
I have searched the web and xda and the only thing I could find was something about doing a system update, only my nexus says I am up to date.
I am from the Netherlands please help me

Toolkits are more likely to brick your device than you... don't be lazy and Google how to do it manually.

I use the "superboot" rooting kernel thingy, you just one-time boot it via "fastboot boot", works fine on the 4.1.1 (JRO03S) build as well.
I don't have a direct link at hand, but it's here, somewhere.

Please do not take this the wrong way.. But are you sure you are ready to own a rooted device.. This is the most open and easily unlock/rootable device.. Please be careful..
We really care about you and your device.. make sure you understand what you are doing before you do it.. And of course why..

Haha i think i am, i own a rooted htc decire only i rooted that one also with a one click method so i just wanna sure that i'm doing the right thing, maybe i just have to wait till the rootkit has the jro03s option?

Yeah, that's the one
Used it several times by now and always worked like a charm.
However, don't forget about the "bootloader bug", for "fastboot boot ...." to properly work, do a "fastboot reboot-bootloader" first.

Can someone with the JRO03S firmware confirm that the bootloader is still version 3.34? Just reboot into the bootloader and the version # will be displayed on-screen.

JRo03s works with Wugfresh rootkit
@oldblue910 - yes, the JRO03S firmware is still version 3.34.
harmw - This thread came at an opportune time as I just picked up my Nexus 7 yesterday. You can use the Wugfresh rootkit (http://www.wugfresh.com/dev/nexus-root-toolkit/) just be sure to select NAKASI Android ***- Any Build (Under the Nexus 7 option) when choosing your model type and android version... when you first run the root kit. It works. I was clued in to this by reading a response from wugfresh himself here.
Note that it didn't work on my Windows 7/Ultimate/64 bit machine but did work on a spare Windows XP/32-bit machine. But this probably has more to do with conflicting usb drivers over anything else. Just keep at it! It was pretty painless if you follow the instructions to a t.

just looked at the site, looking at the screenshot, it just looks like a pc app that downloads firmware from the clouds?
So not actually flashing over the net.

download firmware from cloud, store in local disk and check SHA. you can flash whenever you want.

ROM matching is base on the Cloud. When I add New-ROMs or New-Flash-Instructions, you needn't to download this software again

Unbrick failed
As mentioned before I couldn't install 2nas software on my company laptop, but in the meanwhile I borrowed one and tried the unbrick function.
Everything worked well till I started the installation after the download, so it failed straight away at the flashing of the boot.img, see attached screenshots.
Initial rom on my S3 was I9300XXLEF (Hong Kong) and I flashed Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300 Stock Firmware Collection I9300XXEMA2 after that it didn’t re-boot because of wrong ROM, if I try to get into recovery it shows the “Firmware upgrade encountered issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again” screen..

I had downloaded pacman-mako latest nightly and JB 4.3 for a frnd and without checking properly which ROM i had selected, I simply clicked yes to install and boom...
Any way to fix this??

in the link i left, the op did the same as you, with trial and error he fixed it and brought his phone back to life. so he wrote it up.

HAPPY !!!! Got it unbricked :victory:
Just that its become 8 gig version, but on the post there is a fix for that too.
Its 2:10am now in where I am, m too happy that my phone is up will work to restore the missing 8gig tomorrow.

I am sick of that, this is why I upload the archive of the first pre-rooted firmware I got that was at least clean.

I am not a developer yet and truly not a ROM unbloater: I didn't "disinfect" the firmware, I just reuploaded it (well after a fast check, I found I've already prevented about that, just read the thread please...)
So no dudes I can't do that, sorry. I COULD eventually do that, removing bloats and extract system image to make a flashable shouldn't be as complicated, but I do not have time.

I don't think doing this will brick your device, but careful. Ensure the usal requirements are here (OEM unlock, USB debug just in case...) and you made a backup, also in case something goes wrong.
But if you're rooted you got plenty tools that can remove bloats from your device, but I hope you're not easily scared because once removed system may spam that the bloat you just uninstalled has stopped. You can get rid of that by just rebooting your phone.
So you don't need to reflash any firmware if you just want to clean your phone up.

Yes, you're right. The problem was that the apps I tried to remove other apps weren't the right ones, but now that's sorted thankfully On the other hand, as I couldn't find an Android 6 ROM for my phone (not even a sorry recovery.... ) in the end I set my mobile to install new apps on the sd card by default. Actually it works similarly to the app Link to SD, so a part of it is on the SD card and the rest (like the data it generates) in the device storage, despite all the tutorials sell this method as "Installation directly on your SD card". You need a computer and official Android development tools (SDK). In case it's of any interest for anyone I'll include the tutorial I followed, but it turns out I'm not allowed to post links yet, so the title of the article was Cómo instalar aplicaciones DIRECTAMENTE en la tarjeta SD from androidjefe website. In English, How to: Force Android to automatically install apps to SD card from softonic website

Hi guys, can I use this rom to install on core prime g361f with baseband FXXU1AOH1? I tried once with TWRP but failed.

Read first post. I don't think it will work if you have a build other than AOG1.
And you should not use TWRP to flash like this. Use Odin and Download mode instead.

Will this rooted version work with my phone?
I'm new here and need some help and advice re Rooting this Samsung phone SM-G361F - I'M NO TECHIE but have ability to following instructions and make connections etc. My phone details are below.
Baseband G361FXXU1ASC1
Build LMY48B.G361FXXU1AQD1
Patch level is 2017-4-01
Security software version ASKS 1.2_161011
I did once try rooting a Samsung tablet using Odin and it all worked OK, but that was a while ago.
How important is it to get the identical build or baseband? Anything else I need to check?
I was trying initially trying to change the phone's MAC address, as I was experimenting with the phone, however I could not use an App to do this as it stated phone that the phone needs Rooting first for App to work. Also tried Terminal Emulator app but it kept failing to work as I was probably, unable to input the text commands required correctly.
I hope someone can please help and advise me on this.
