make sure you have loaded the correct framework into apktool with the if command
if framework-res.apk
with most 3rd apps you are likely to need jb or kitkat framework so get it from cm10/11

Hi can someone post the apk of the music player of any of those phones, I need the apk working on Neko's icysnap rom. PLEASE!!!!!
search in attachments for music lgui.apk i tried to push it in system/app with right permissions and it didn't worked on icysnap v1.1

All apps in that zip are working except music.apk it's giving fc . Maybe you can do something about that or another 4x files

From my understanding the music app doesn't support the resolution of our device .it needs to be recompiled (resized) as per our screen resolution.
For me didn't force close but, the app shows an error while reading the sd card.
i have the same bug like you for music app

ahh forget that bug, and yeah i tried walkman apk without any lib or something in the zip just showing blackscreen.
But my question is how to port any zip file from other device to this device plus those lib.

not that iv seen unless you have jellybean or higher
you can use xposed moduals but again mainly for jellybean and higher
The only thing you can do on gingerbread to theme without doing all the hard stuff yourself is use cm7 and then download theme chooser themes to apply in theme chooser - these themes can be found on the play store or by searching xda

Xposed framework is already ported for SGY. But there are very few modules for GB devices

theres a hell lot of diff between xposed framework of jb and gb (ported)

Its FCing because the modules in the download tab arent for gb. look in the xposed module subforum for gb compatible modules. or in the thread of the framework is a link to the port of xposed framework for gb. there you will find some ported modules.

I am having trouble decompile the gravitybox apk file
I get the error that cant decompile arsc file
I dont want to do major edits I just wanna edit the apk to hide it from launcher which is editing the manifest of app

I have used this a'll to decompile other apps but it give this error with apktool only

Try using a different apktool version - I would use 1.5.2 unless decompiling kitkat/lollipop apks

But what does the error mean?
I have the Renovate Ice Rom v5.1 on the S8 (rooted) and when I change the background colour of notifications to black and text colour to white, The text colour remains dark on the Samsung Music notification. Sure I could use the Google play music app which works colour wise but it responds slowly to the bixby button which I have set to media play/pause, which is not the case for the Samsung music app. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

This is the link I shared you before, but that music apk is now outdated, if the op can edit apk there is instructions also to what codes you need to change ? (wait isn't custom roms already has feature to color Samsung music app specifically?)

okay so i changed the codes of samsung music on apk editor, deleted the samsung music i had then installed the modded apk but then it crashes

Idk, there are a couple of factors that may affect it, maybe wrong decompiling signatures or the modded music app got rejected by the rom. Try to use apktool via PC not just phones apk editor
