and btw i did a search and found no update for the knock code on a g2.

Your only gonna get it if you update to the official kitkat firmware. Not everybody is gonna do that, so I don't find this thread unnecessary

Although that maybe true at the time the feature still isn't here, 2) it won't roll out to every region, it will only be specific regions and 3) it will be a new update after kk which means we will also need to modify the modified roms for kk with root and custom recovery

the knock code update is supposed to be released next month(april) and you are correct that it will hit certain regions at a time. obviously korea being first. hopefully in that update they will send a camera update to. patience will be worth the wait. once the update hits i can finally go back to stock with all the goodies. until then cloudypro and optimusrs are my top 2 choice roms.

Why make a thread ? Anyone who uses CM9 reads the discussion thread (or at least they should), and anyone else probably doesn't need to know about this.

There are a couple of roms in here that could stand to be moved to the AT&T section.
As far as this port goes. I couldn't get it to load. It kept throwing an error message. Same thing with the mahdi port. It seems to be missing something. I'm not sure if it needs to be flashed over something or ???

Other than not being able to place phone calls using bluetooth (bluetooth audio streaming works fine), this ROM is doing very well. Bluetooth phone calls are an issue across many, if not all, of the G3 AOSP ROMS as of today. I keep looking for a fix to be posted =)

[ROM] [G550T/T1] Samsung Galaxy On5 Custom ROM

I like this phone I think it has a lot of potential but I'm not a big fan of the TouchWiz interface. We have Xposed framework and a custom recovery now what I'd like to see are some custom ROMs. AOSP or CyanogenMod would be great. I've never compiled Android or ported a ROM before but it's something I'd like to learn. If anyone would like to help I welcome it this all new to me so if you have experience that's even better. Also if anyone else is working on a ROM already and would like my help PM me.
AOSP go for it

If that's your daily driver then I suggest you wait for a stable release. Because I can't make any promises. Flashing custom roms always carries some risk and this phone doesn't have a very large development scene yet so there's not a lot of people to help you with any problems you might encounter.
