Stuck in bootloop - Acer Iconia A500

Hello,
I installed the 4.3 android unofficial CM 10.2 version successfully to my tablet.
I then realized that I did not install gapps, so when I flashed gaps it got stuck in boot loop.
I have tried formatting /system and reinstalling the rom but with no success.
If anyone could help me that would be great!

Sorry for the stupid question, but what do you mean by v9 boot loader?

U can't flash any custom Rom without it...unless its a tegra-owners rom in which case you'll get more help on their forum

But... I reinstalled my bootloader but I am still stuck on the bootloop after flashing the rom
UPDATE: Now I am stuck on the boot logo, so I got that going for me which is nice

Weird...check the Rom thread for similar issues andflash a different one to isolate the problem

Or boot into recovery and format data/media, you need to enable that option in mounts and storage. This always needs to be done when flashing from one rom to another. It will erase all data on yr tab

Still unable to flash properly and stuck at boot screen. It's the cyanogenmod 10 M-series. get.cm/?device=grouper&type=snapshot
Try redownloading a new recovery to flash.
I had the exact same issue, finally went back to stock and just running franco's kernel. Tried it again with a new nightly a few days ago and still no progress.
I'm using M2 and have found that sometimes it takes a very long time (5+ minutes) to boot after flashing it (happened to me today).

Flashed back to stock ROM. What other recoveries do you guys recommend?
Is there a TWRP recovery for the N7? Try using it if it exist.
Will the next nexus have a longer screen?

So apparently I flashed CWM recovery from ROM Manager and flashed CM10 Nightly from it too and it's now working.
And also, I flashed the touch version of clockworkmod recovery.

[Q] soft brick help

im kinda new to the whole rooting/rom thing, i rooted my s4 successfully, but when i went to install the rom i thought it was on my usb retardedly, so i wiped my phone, hooked up the usb, and it wasnt there. it said my phone was unrooted and asked me if i wanted to instal s2 to root it i hit yes, and now the phone wont boot up past samsung galaxy s4 home screen. i was using TWRP but it wont even open ... help me please im freakin out, prolly broke my phone i just bought it a week ago.
edit: okay so after trying like 15x twrp finally opened up. i put the backup i made onto my pc. do i just load it onto my usb, hook it up and go twrp > restore > usb-otg and restore it?
edit2: i go to restore but it shows nothing in my usb.
im freaking out again help please >.< do i need a file to install/where can i get it to get back to stock?
Download Odin and a rom in .tar format. Hold the volume down and power button to go into download mode. Then connect to usb and see the com port pop up, then select the pda tab and browse to the tar file. Then flash that. It will install stock firmware and recovery or rooted firmware and custom recovery based on what tar file you download.
If that sounds like too much to take in, and I suck at writing this kind of stuff up, do a YouTube search for sprint s4 unbrick/unroot and it should show all the steps.

Yea you should return to Stock Firmware. It should solve your issue.
Always, read and double check, even triple check before you mess with your phone. You should be alright if you follow previous post instructions.

[Q] TWRP vs CWM Recovery on VZW G2

Hey guys,
I currently am running Clean ROM on my Verizon G2, but saw that Team Gummy released a 4.4 ROM that I wanted to take for a spin. Anyway, in that OP it states that you can only flash that ROM from CWM and I currently have TWRP installed. So here is my question, is it possible to flash CWM from TWRP (like I used to on my GNEX) or do I need to remove TWRP and install CWM the way it's stated the in the development forum? Thanks!
**BUMP**
Can someone please chime in on this. I don't want to do something to brick my phone.
Yes, you can install cwm from twrp. Just find the version in a flashable zip format.

And after install reboot to recovery.
Or you can do it from flashify. You can switch back with it as well.

[q] boot stuck

Hey there ,
I just installed albe95 S6 room
Then i flash it by recovery
Then reboot
Then it stuck on boot (downloading)
Please help !!
Did you wiped system, data, cache and dalvik before flashing the rom? Try to do that. If you see the same probably bcz the rom is not compatible with your device.
Sent from my SM-G900F (ToxicRom n5) using Tapatalk
Yes i did ,
Maybe because of bootloader?
And do you have rom for g900f ?
You must set the latest bootloader yes but I don't think that's the main problem... Are you sure that the rom of albe95 is really for your device? For the G900F i suggest you to try revolution s5 rom or ToxicRom
Sent from my SM-G900F (ToxicRom n5) using Tapatalk
Toxicrom availabe for OBJ1 ksa ? And how can i update my modem and bootloader that can i install a ROM
I don't have enough privilege to share links... If you search to Google you will find the latest BL and Modem... After download you have to flash those by Odin

Thank you,
Then can i know how to install ROM step by step ?
If u want to install a custom rom :
1. Flash the latest bootloader and modem using odin (check the info in the setting/about device if it's done successfully. If it's not than flash those twice)
2. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik in a custom recovery mod (I suggest u to use twrp or philz touch)
3. Install the custom rom and restart the system. Then wait 10/12 min.
For a stock rom u have to install by Odin. If u search to Google u will find all u need to know.
Sent from my SM-G900F (ToxicRom n5) using Tapatalk
Okay thank you
Last question
Are modem and bootloader the reason of boot stuck ?
Because i didn't update them before installing
If u r using the latest stock rom u don't have to flash BL or CP. The reason could be the wrong rom or something went wrong in ur root, recovery mod, wiping and installing the zip.
Download and flash a stock rom with Odin and then do a factory reset. After that redo everything from the beginning starting from :flash a custom recovery, root ur device, reboot system, open the recovery mod, wipe system, data, cache and dalvik and than install the zip. After that wait 6/12 min.
