Hi,
I have an i9500 GS4 and well i cant use CM as it has bugs that i can live with them, like BT problems (need it for work).
Now I'm really in a need of the mail app that come in CM. is it possible to install it on a stock based rom?

Most likely, yes.
Just download a cm rom and copy the email apk from /system/app to your s4 system/app and change permissions to rw-r--r--.
Reboot and test

I'd just try installing the apk normally first. I don't think it needs to be a system app.

You can use another kernel.I am using CM and everything works.My only problem is low mic volume.

I'm running an S5 rom on my S4 but when I go into car mode everything works except making a call at which point it shuts car mode down. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Which ROM you are using?
I'm sure the Developer of the ROM u use know how to fix this Problem.

I would recommend phoenix rom, it probably means the car mode is incomplete, or theres a problem with it.

I'm running an S5 Rom (Imperium V10) and cannot find a way to have Live Wallpaper working. Error message says App isn't installed.
I'm using S5 touchwiz and S5 Wallpaper and there is no choice in Aroma installer regarding Live wallpaper.
Can someone help me, please?

You have to install Bloatware as well, there you can chose Livewallpaper. Maybe it works then.

I haven't been able to install latest Gravity box module, so i downloaded an older version and then updated it to.
If I try to update Wanam Exposed systemui goes in force close.

gravitybox is mainly used in vanilla android roms, like AOSP, they advised for you not to use it on touchwiz in any case.

I used to have gravityBox module on other Touchwiz Rom in the last year without any problem.
What about Wanam Exposed on ported S5 touchwiz? Are there any known issue?

I don't use gravitybox but Wanam exposed and I don't have any problems with that. (Imperium Rom, S5 Features )
And I know that some Imperium rom users also use gravitybox without issues.
You can visit the Imperium thread and ask there if you want.

Normally nightlies starts when the device buy starts (see OnePlus One, WyleyFox...)
Yeah, like on the other Cyanogen phones. Cyanogen OS is nice but it starts to be a b*itch. 1 mio Google Apps, BING, Root means no OTA and maybe with CM13 it will have MS crap Apps.

Works fine for me. Wifi no changes (same problems), camera works fine, but camera oficial COS is better.
It's funtional, no FCs, no bugs, no problem (testing now).

Did you try the CM camera app with c-apps?
20151113 nightly runs really smoothly. Slight battery drain but massive improvement in wifi speeds (10-15Mbps faster than on COS 3AJ).

Found the COS camera next app from opo in another xda thread. Runs well on CyanogenMod too.

There is no camera app on c-apps...
Installed the latest nightly (20151113) + tk Google stock gapps. Everything is running smooth except video playback isn't working (YouTube, videos within chrome) and audiofx opens FC. Hope this will will be fixed soon.

Don´t have got any problems. Installed same nightly and micro Open Gapps. Everything runs smooth with no bugs.
How you install it? Cyanogen Recovery?

I don't see the point of being upset by encryption. It's a transparent process to add security in case someone tries to access to your phone without your consent. Even iPhones are encrypted, and it doesn't prevent tweaking, rooting, flashing roms.
It's really not a problem let it go.

I have also had issues with the encryption: if it gave me the password that'd be different but it made it incapable of flashing anything, recovery was basically useless and fastboot wiping bricked the phone forcing me to reflash the signed rom and then WOW encrypting again. This happened over and over for hours - error fastboot flashing supersu, booting other ROMS. Super irritating. If there was a page with a guide exclusively about how it worked and how to get around it thatd be one thing but Ive never used encryption before so its super annoying.
Vanilla Unicorn:
No problems flashing, haven't noticed any issues with basic features other than the phone FC once or twice when calling or in settings setting up the finger lock.: setting up the finger lock seems more difficult. The power button has taken a couple extra presses here and there to turn on screen. The data also seems less stable? Ive been home all day and I've had drops in speed that I didn't have before - this could just be from network overload on Sunday and everyone being home too? I use the hotspot for my Roku to run Netflix so this is a problem, but the cast screen works so well that I can just run Kodi off the phone. Camera has a little ?noise?, more so on selfie. Without DASH it charges at 1500mA/h, but haven't had a chance to really test battery yet. I don't know if OOS had an optional encrypt - but its a nice feature here. Overall the rom is smooth, experience pleasant and I'd say my first impression is GTG for daily driver.
Benchmarks without modifying anything:

Antutu: 145,762
These scores are actually better than the unmodified OOS scores I got. For the warning of "CM13 not running as well as OOS" it seems to run fairly comparably. Awesome job.
How do you think it compares to your Beanstalk rom? And how is Vanilla Unicorn different than Dirty Unicorn?
Maybe it is my phone, but no bugs to report. I do agree with @SmashTime1904 in the fingerprint area though. Not that it was difficult, but was really sensitive. When adding it would just keep skipping due to sensitivity.
Only problem I had was needing to disable root completely so I could get this to work with my MDM setup. Tried all the root cloaks, but none worked. Had to manually delete the binary, but then started having issues, so reverted back to stock.
This ROM is definitely ready for a daily driver! Great work.

By startup browser FC, quick charge seems to be broken. I know that it's showing slow charge on CM 14.1, latest builds, but it's quick charging. But on this Rom it seems to charge slow in fact. Double tap to wake also doesn't work. The rest is working properly. Thank you.

I have simply no idea what it is with the kernel in my aokp Rom it's broken too but I'm using latest cm 14.1 kernel sources [emoji29]

i builded a new version of my aokp rom with new kernel it seems to work again so i guess it would work again in new lineage build im just building

Then just use Chrome and I never use the gello application and there is a bug in the code a ssl certificate is outdated and so the code of gello can't be downloaded so I need to use that old one or no builds anymore

Good year.
Helios is more useless than this and more stable for me.
If have problem that's ok but for me is a reason to choose AICP.
