Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet firmware certified (17.1.A.0.504); launch on track - Xperia Z2 General

Original source:http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/02/2...mware-certified-17-1-a-0-504-launch-on-track/
Sony promised us that its new flagship Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet devices will launch in March 2014 with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Well it looks like the launch will be on track as the first firmware builds for these devices have just been certified by the PTCRB. The 17.1.A.0.504 build was certified on 24 February, along with an older 17.1.A.0.391 build a few days before.
We expect both of the above builds to relate to Android KitKat. This firmware has been certified for the Xperia Z2 HSPA+ model D6502 (L50w, the Chinese model number) and the LTE model D6503. It has also been certified for the Xperia Z2 Tablet LTE model SGP521 and HSPA+ model SGP541.

This is a FAKE firmware. It is not Taiwan(China) firmware.
This firmware is SONY StoreFront firmware, it is internal and have lots of retail demo applications.
The information from EMMA could prove what I say.

Definitely not 5.1 since only the last number changed.
Anyhow, even 23.1.A.0.726 is pretty good at the moment. It works smoothly and the battery life is at least as good as on Kitkat if not slightly better.
Do you guys know if call recording is standard as it is in 4.4.4?
This is a must have feature for me and want to know if I should upgrade or not
Thanks

Except for 23.2.A.0.278 that is still android 5.0.2
LOL.. I'm curious to see what will be for the actual 5.1
740 appears to be a carrier build for Orange.

I see this is an UK customised ftf, I usually install CE1, is there any difference between them because in some builds some features arent enabled (the PlayStation App for example is missing)
