Missing Download Manager - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I accidentally managed to uninstall the android download manager using the Clean Master roots access to remove some pre-installed apps.
Found myself this download manager was actually useful to the Play Store app as it doesn't download apps anymore.
Can anyone post an apk to the said stock download manager. I'm running the latest stock 4.4.2. Build nr. KOT49H.

Nandroid backup is done inside of clockwork recovery which you can use rom manager to boot into.
Custom roms will usually come with busybox, but if you want to update your version you can download busybox installer from market
Not sure what you are doing with google maps, but if you uninstall maps it shouldnt give you a problem reinstalling another google maps apk manually or from market.
If it says read only on system folder then you have not changed to write access. What file browser are you using?
You can absolutely unstall any of the tmobile bloatware including tmobile tv. If you want a precooked rom that has all of this stuff removed and is stock in every other way then check the link in my sig for my mysense rom. It may be exactly what you are looking for.

Latest Root Explorer Not Working

Hello,
I just got a new phone, newly rooted (with Stump), and running freshly updated 4.4.2 on a Verizon G2 (VS980, 27A software version).
Downloaded Root Explorer 3.3.3. The app installed fine.
When I go to run the app, it says:
This version of Root Explorer is designed exclusively for Gingerbread (2.3.X) devices and will not work properly on Android 3.0+. However, it appears that you are running on a newer version of Android. This can happen if you restore Root Explorer from a Gingerbread device to a newer one using a backup app. Please download the latest version from Google Play or Amazon to continue.
Then the app exits immediately.
Odd since this version (3.3.3) IS the newest/current version. Same with my Android software.
I prefer to use RE over other file manager apps.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Downgrade system app on rooted device

I was trying to install older version of Game Launcher on my S8 as I noticed new version just add ad banner on the interface which I hate. I used Titanium Backup to manually uninstall Game Launcher and when I try to install older version APK I got this message "package conflicts with an existing package by the same name". Normally this messaage showed up when there is newer version of the app already installed on the device so it seen even after I uninstall latest version of the app. Anyone know is there to get around this issue without having to flash older stock rom?
