AOSP gallery with Picasa sync? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I swear I had a camera/gallery apk that allowed Picasa sync in the gallery. I accidentally wiped my phones internal storage and can't find it anymore. Is there one floating around here that I'm not seeing when I search?

[Q] Is there a way to incorporate Picasa

So I was checking out the different cloud services and rolled up on Picasa and how it is Google and was integrated into Android since ver 2.1 and I am rocking Fusion 1.1.5 and noticed that Flikr was in the accounts and sync but not Picasa...Flickr is ehhhh cause you can only upload 350mb a month....so is there a way to get our phones synched up with Picasa??
This would be sweet, but I don't think it's doable yet. Not even an official Picasa app yet AFAIK.
Make a picasa account online with your Google Account and it syncs with your phone.

I did this, but for some reason the phone refused to use my Google Apps account for Picasa. Might have just been a ROM bug (see my sig -- need to update it...lol). It kept attempting to get me to add a new Google account. Maybe I'll futz with it more this weekend after updating my ROM.
Try doing it from a computer

I did...Re-read my last post. After I created an account just trying to setup sync the phone won't let me.
Download the Picasa app onto your PC/Mac, there might be additional steps after setting up an account, if I recall. Then Gallery 3D and HTC Sense's Gallery app should be able to use Picasa. Only Gallery 3D supports uploading, as far as I know though.

How to stop gallery from downloading Google + images on wifi.

Anyone know how to keep the gallery from downloading all my google+ images?
I can clear gallery data. But as soon as I connect to wifi it downloads them again.
Or if someone can tell me how to fix google+ so that photos from post are not seen as a separte album on my phone for every post.
I rooted and deleted g+

Gallery App / Picasa confusion.

I have a fairly large Picasa collection (by default its in Google+ as well)
I noticed in the Gallery app it has a drop down menu for albums , tags , people etc.
Im just confused as to what this pertains to ? I dont know how to tag someone from the device , and none of my Picasa name tags appear to have an effect.
Any ideas ?
Noone uses Picasa for online albums ?
You have to do it through Picasa, or now through G+.

That is my impression as well. I have not tried it yet though...
I have tons of people tagged through Picasa. Nothing shows up.
If I have to do it through Google + then its monumentally retarded especially since I cant do it via handset.
Are you syncing your Picasa albums to your tablet? Settings, Accounts, Google, email address, Google Photos.

Picasa Albums in Gallery will not delete

Having an issue with the Gallery.
I had Picasa photo sync turned on and I didn't want my Gallery cluttered with old pictures/wallpapers that I've had over the past year. So I went, logged onto Picasa on my computer, and deleted all of the albums. However whenever I go into the Gallery app in my N4, and click the menu button and click refresh, all of my albums pop up.
I cannot access them as they have no pictures but they show the name of the album. I know I can choose to not sync them, hit refresh and fix the problem that way but it's a little OCD-type of thing that I just don't like. I've tried clearing cache and data in both the Gallery app and the Picasa uploader app in Settings-->Applications.
Tl;dr: I deleted all my Picasa albums on my computer but they still appear in my Gallery on my phone. I need a way to delete/remove them without turning off sync.
EDIT: Nevermind, found a solution. Please delete this thread, thanks!
To this day I have found no cure for deleting them unless you wipe your ROM, flash a new one, disable photo sync, and uninstall picasa with titanium. That's only to prevent it. Once it syncs the only solution is a wipe....
What was the solution?????

Gallery albums

When I go to my gallery all of the photos that I have on Google + in albums are just showing in my gallery in one big folder called Picasa instead of the individual folders that I have them in.. is anyone else seeing this?

Go into your account where you sync your contacts, disable the picasa from syncing and then go to your gallery app and clear cache and data. When you open it back up it will be gone
