In 2 sec, by taping galaxy s4 I9500 root, and by clicking on the first link, I already found this. Instead of wasting 1 - 2 minutes by creating a post here, you can already find the answer

since it is unlocked, and you choose the appropriate firmware for your variant, then yes.
Edit: i didnt pay attention for mobile odin. I think not yet, you can try

Just discovered in i9505 thread that an aosp rom is available for i9500!? Does samsung deliver the exynos 5's sources to devs?
The rom is also based on cm and aokp! Never see nor cm rom neitheir aokp one for i9500!!
Please guys be careful before flashing...

Hi all,
I've just updated and rooted my sgs4 with the newest official firmware KitKat I9505XXUFNB8.
All is fine for that.
I've just bought a galaxy gear and want to connect with my phone but it seems that is impossible
When Gear manager launch to do the pair I have a message which disapear quickly which say something like "com.samsung.android.sdk.accessory.sdk.accessory.. device not supported" and the connexion fail.
Possible that gear manager is not compatible in 4.4.2?

Finally, it works, I reflashed my new stock firmware, linked my gear and rooted, everything is ok.
