There is nothing in the title that tells me this in for the maxx and if your on 4.4 you can't use SS to flash to any slots but stock side. What build is this 4.2.2 /4.4/.4.4.2 and have you flashed this? if so I am guessing it is a dev phone.

not as far as I can see

Bugger, that.
fat-fingered and Maxx-ed out.

Seems to be running quite well. Very smooth. GPS & mms works, no audio issues that I have found. Data and wi-fi are solid. Definitely a DD. No active display but I bought the active display app from the play store and that works quite well. Themes work nicely. Running the Cobalt Blue theme right now.

Will the active display app use the proper core and have the same functionality? Or drain battery

I've only been using it for a while this morning but I don't any appreciable battery drain. It's not high on my battery stats and Wake Lock Detector doesn't show it doing anything crazy.

Yes, on a Max Dev. Screen shot in post #5. I have gone back to stock for now so no other screen shots. GPS wasn't working right for me after all.

OMG this is big news, finally something to flash!!
---------- Post added at 07:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:02 PM ----------
can someone try to install this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motorola.audiomonitor
and this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motorola.aon
and see if the funtions work on cyanogen?
then we could have the best of both worlds

Theoretically, shouldn't you be able to download the Moto Active Display SW directly from the Play Store? Or does that not include all of the necessary backend code to get it working properly? If so, can't you just pull those files out of a stock ROM and drop them into CM?

[Discussion][MaclawStudio] CyanogenMod 10 / 10.1

Hello!
This is development thread of CyanogenMod 10 / 10.1 by MaclawStudio.
DEVELOPMENT THREAD
Awesome work so far guys. Currently running beta1 on my spare s3mini. All working except know issues keep it up
From the palm of my hand with enox reVenge AMD3 V4
Well seeing I never use my camcorder might as well try it out.
Here's my review on beta1:
Everything is quick and snappy, I like it. Doesn't seem like a beta at all.
I just want the 4.2.2 AOSP keyboard with gesture typing because that's the keyboard I'm used to.
Can't wait for the RC or Stable Release of this ROM. Great job!!
Review Beta2:
It seems exactly the same on top but I don't know what changed under the hood.
Fixed the 4.2.2 keyboard by flashing it separately myself to get gesture typing :highfive:
As for the issues:
Issues:
not fully video hardware acceleration
no camcorder and buggy panoramic mode
small tearing
Click to collapse
As for the video hardware acceleration, I haven't noticed the issue myself, don't take my word on it. :fingers-crossed:
haven't tried camcorder or panoramic mode, never use it anyways
small tearing is quite noticeable when scrolling, not that big of a deal coming from a 2nd beta release.
Keep up the good work!!!!
THE ORIGINAL THREAD WAS CLOSED, this is the only thread open still. Dang rules. Well gotta follow em. Hmm
Review 20130626:
Full android 4.2.2
Fast and snappy UI
YouTube works well
Lockscreen widgets are a plus
Games are a bit laggy (candy crush saga)
Battery life is decent. The only gripe I have is that at the end of the day when I need to recharge my battery it loses charge if I use the phone and charge. The problem is fixed after rebooting the phone while it's plugged in. After that it charges normally.
In call volume is low, it is fixed by hitting volUP then volDOWN in call.
I'm looking forward to many improvements in future releases. Keep up the good work maclaw!

It seems that beta1 is better than beta2 on tearing issue, but you can get microphone working on all app.

See what happens when you disable Wi-fi. I get no data and have to enable/disable airplane mode.
I've also noticed more tearing/flickering but I need mms to work so I'm staying on B2 for now.
It doesn't bother me that much since I mostly use it as a phone
As I said, flickering is back, because last fix was causing slowmotion.

[Q] Battery Percentage Mod for Nexus 4 KitKat

Now that the factory images have been posted for the N4, does anyone if there is a mod available for the battery percentage? The stock implementation of the battery percentage is quite juvenile, if I may say so. Does anyone know if theres a mod available for N4 like this one for N5? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2526039

Install the battery.percent.1.0.1.apk.
Open and Enable Battery Percent.
Reboot.
small problem, the numbers of percentage are white, making it visible only starting from 50%.
anyway it's too beautiful and elegant
No offence but the % battery beside the icon looks and works better according to me. The oems also use this way I believe.

See I have no problem with an answer like that. God knows, I've done enough testing and experimenting in my time on xda. What I don't appreciate is being insulted for asking something we all ask each other around here from time to time. That is NOT the spirit of XDA from what I've seen.

New TouchWiz UI for Marshmallow users, removes Sprint branding (no root)

Some of you may have seen this:
http://www.xda-developers.com/samsu...iz-is-a-ui-giant-leap-forward-two-steps-back/
Turns out it appears to work for the Note 4 Marshmellow users as well. I've been using it for only a little bit, one change I noticed is that it removes the Sprint branding in the upper left without requiring root. I searched for the app in Galaxy Apps, it wasn't available there, but you can download the apk attached to this post
The recent apps feature is pretty terrible, but it's something different you guys can try.
EDIT: I tried this with the fingerprint scanner, it made me not able to get past the lock screen, all I saw was a blank wallpaper. I guess it works on the Note 4 but not optimized for it. I was able to finally get past it by clicking on the notifications, messing with the settings on GoodLock, causing it to crash, and then my phone rebooted with it uninstalled.
This is interesting. I'm testing it out to see how it goes. Can you say anything about battery life compared to without it?

CAREFUL!! I just set up finger print scanner with this to see how it functions, now I can't get past the lock screen, all I see is my wallpaper, even in safe mode, I might have to do a hard reset :\
Edit: finally got past the fingerprint scanner after the app crashed and made my phone reboot, and then gave me the option to type in the password instead. It worked great prior to setting that portion up though, so mixed feelings about it so far.

it simply disables your lockscreen. I have seen it and for some time, had it, but no longer thanks to a goofed internalsd format ;(

not really imo, apart from letting you group notifications and setting alerts for them, and making the notification pull down menu look closer to stock android.
Edit: I take that back. When you take a screenshot now it comes up with 3 options, more/share/crop. If you hit more, it lets you take a scrolling screenshot without having to use the s-pen.

Alright, well, I jumped back on board to see if I could make this work for me. What I did was install the APK as usual and then used TB to delete the system UI (launcher). Since I use NOVA anyway, I also deleted TouchWiz and TouchWiz Easy crap... This setup has me running faster and with better battery life than ever before! Can't wait for a kernel for this MM situation!

That's crazy that you deleted TouchWiz, didn't even know that was possible lol, hopefully you don't run into any issues, because I had it crash once which caused it to just uninstall itself from my phone.

I think both are pretty awesome but I use Pure Nexus because AP works with it.

I tried a fresh install of Pure Nexus and removed root and still couldn't get Android Pay to work. What did you do to get it to work?

Probably this. Make sure you flash the FiFix dialer if you haven't already (you don't have to root if you don't want to).

Oh, do you have to flash the FiFix Dialer? I don't use Google Fi (damn Sprint and T-Mobile for having no coverage here), so I never flashed it.

It is really just the Google dialer but for some reason, it is now necessary for Android Pay to work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks. Worked like a charm, and my bank finally added support for Android Pay, so glad I finally got it working.
Please help
I just bought a 6p and the seller didn't tell me it was rooted. Everytime I press the home button it doesn't go home same with recent apps. Also the notification bar doesn't drop down when I swipe. Please help or please tell me the best way to get back to stock.
Thanks

Time to do some research. It's very simple to return to stock and get the bootloader locked. Just read read and read some more
