What does "it didn't worked fine" mean? Did it work at all? I've spend an entire day trying to get a Linux distro to run on my note 3 and with no success.

Update.zip signing

Dear Members, first of all hello to all..
I'm trying to create a update.zip file that removes the default applications that samsung puts on Samsung S and installs one or two more.
But I'm having a problem with the signing of update.zip
I have the struture:
system\app\xpto.apk
META-INF\com\google\android\update-script
and now I know I have to sign it but I dont seem to find a working tutorial, I've read some with signapk.jar and others without it...
Can someone plz point me in the right direction so that I can accomplish it?
Thanks

How is java important, android is based on java, an .apk is just a modified .jar and there are tools to change a .jar into an .apk so a jre or java vm isnt required
Nice. Can this use for website that require java applet security?

Why is there no java.apk in this zip file? Also, recovery throws up an error: Unable to find "system/customize/MNS/52099.xml" in Manifest file or something like that when tried to flash this zip..
I get an error for a missing file system/customize/MNS/52099.xml and then it says verification failed... anyone know how to fix this

[Q] [Request] Stock music player MJ7

Hi, gmrender-resurrect is a little software able to play music sent over UPnP, it's working great with bubble UPnP and other stock galaxy player (tested with s3 and s4 mini and tab3 10.1) but it's not working with the note 3 stock music player
The dev is asking me if it's possible to have the apk to find out why it's not working (the dev doesn't have a galaxy note 3)
Thank ;-p

You'll need root or someone with root to grab the app for you.. I would but I'm on CM so don't have it I'm afraid.

Thanks man! works great on my GT-N8010 official KK (not the test version previously leaked).
You are a genius!
Thanks mate!!!works perfect on gt n8020 reflection rom!!!!!
Hi, I was reading the posts and I replaced the file in the lib directory, but have no idea what to do with the meta-in files. In my 8020 the hardware error message is gone, but now a new message keep telling me to restart the screen mirroring to install an update. As you certainly noted my skils are minimal. ... ? Many thanks for your attention.

Bump!!!!! ( locked bootloader) ( Window version). Working on x86/x64!

Hi, i want to share with you Bump windows version. It's easier for g3 user to bump boot image without using Linux. I converted it from open_bump.py. I'm very sad when bump site is gone
How to use it?
Put "boot.img" into bump folder and run "bumped.bat"or
open cmd and type: bump.exe boot.img or recovery.imgor
drag *.img to bump.exe
Sorry for my bad English .

Dude, it's a Windows Batch so you run it on your personal computer on the Windows OS.
If you don't know what it does, what it is and how it works just don't use it and don't try whatever you're trying.
No offense but just let it be if you know nothing (Jon Snow).

"How to use it?

You should research carefully before posting comments. If you don't know what it is, this is a chance for you to know about it.
