Still running these services after closing all active apps, it shows that it Used 480 mb out of 800 mb.
What else shall i hibernate? Isnt it wise to use the 1gb ram, thats what ram is for but it will effect a bit ur battery life.
Thanks

Ram Usage

My ram is always at like 500 and I can't get it down and it slows my phone down and I can't pinpoint what it is. Thanks for the future help

I figured it out I wiped my cache and dalvik

Just kidding the issue persists
Sent from my XT907 using xda app-developers app
I usually eliminate / remove the background processes of the apps I'm not using or don't consider top priority for notifications and etc.
And if the service restarts then force close / freeze

If your on a stock rom this seems pretty consistent with the ram usage I'm looking at with nothing frozen on stock.

He's ^^^ correct. RAM usage shouldn't slow down your phone, if it's reasonable, and it is. One of the apps is causing the issue, not the amount of RAM being used. Android is designed to stack RAM.
I'm on cm10 and I don't have that many apps installed but look:

Rooted Stock Razr M is extremely "doggy"

My Razr M over the past couple days has become increasingly "doggy" (for lack of a better word), by that I mean when touching an app on my screen it takes a few seconds to load, etc. I want to try to figure out what the issue is myself but I am not well versed in the best way to do this. When I look at the battery stats the top two drivers are 'Display' and 'Android System', which I think is fairly typical. I am not sure if it is a RAM issue or something is eating my Processing or what.
Any tips, ideas, suggestions and/or tricks that anyone can provide me with to troubleshoot this? I would greatly appreciate it.
Check setting , apps, running apps and see if something is hogging memory. Wiping your caches will probably help too.

I am not sure at what line an app is considered to become a hog but here is the top 5 on my list
Settings (52MB)
Norton Mobile Security (23MB)
Amazon Appstore (39MB)
Swiftkey (24MB)
FaceBook (25MB)
What's your total memory used at the bottom of that screen and try using seeder from the play store it helps with lag a bit

Yep that's low. Do you have a ton of apps installed? If so have you tried Greenify to hibernate some while not in use? Freezing some bloat may help too

I will try that thanks

Is there a list of bloatware that is safe to freeze?

I know this is vague because everyone's definition of bloat is different but I froze a lot of crap

I froze some stuff and it's helping but I don't want to freeze something that will screw up my system.

As long as you're not messing with the system services your not going yo break anything that can't be easily fixed. make a backup just to be safe

Apps to disable to increase free ram?

Anyone found a good list of apps, bloatware to disable to increase the amount of free ram on the phone yet and speed it up a bit? Cause at the moment it looks like a lot of ram is being used by bloatware.

I'm not denying that but it isn't bring used by apps I'm actually using. Tw bloatware is using all the free ram and half of it is never used so that can be disabled to increase free ram.

Use Titanium to freeze bloatware, then if you have problems you can unfreeze. Sorry I don't have a list...

LOL Really impressed with @marcussmith2626 answer! But in brief, framework is visible as "android system" app on app manager, and it holds all the frame, i.e. all the UI like animation, buttons, etc!
