[HELP NEEDED] LG G2 D802 won't boot and in download mode it says model is F380K - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I am having issues with this phone of mine. Here is a background of it:
My phone is rooted and is running rayglobe rom. I tried updating the update that it gave me and made me stuck in bootloop.
Now I downloaded another rom, which I don't remember since this happened december 2013. after flashing, it does not boot and does not make me go to TWRP anymore. Now I tried using download mode to restore my phone. but eveytime I try to flash (using the 2 methods I saw in the thread), either it hangs at 49% or the other one does not start flashing because it says I have inconsistent dll? I downloaded a D802 stock rom and tried flashing via download mode and it says that I have different model (F380K). Now I tried downloading a dll and F380K stock rom, but won't allow me because it says that my phone is D802. But when I go to download mode it is korean and it says F380K.
I think I have flashed a korean rom before which made this incident happen, but do you have any idea how I can restore this?
Thank you all in advance.

If this was me, I would do a factory reset.

sounds like you should go back to stock firmware.

I faced similar problem with D800. I had the correct dll and the firmware but it failed saying my phone model was different (I think its because I tried the "upgrade recovery" option on the LG PC software by selecting a different model).
My phone was passing the LG screen and stuck at android boot screen.
What I did:
Pushed a kitkat based rom for D800 to sdcard using adb on Linux (on windows adb failed to recognise the device).
Then adb reboot recovery and flashed the rom.
Then I was able to flash the factory image.

[Q] Help! "Could not do a normal boot" Cant get past download screen

My S4 is stuck on the download screen every time I boot it goes straight to the download screen with the message "Could not do a normal boot."
I have tried to flash recoveries but its still the same. I also tried using the key combination to bring up the option to reboot but it reboots back into download mode.
I was flashing some new 4.4 roms and then I don't quite recall how it precisely happened. I may have been updating my clockwork mod as I was trying to recover some sms from nandroid backups.

You are lucky to have use of the "Download Mode".
First thing you need to do is to find the correct and specific
Odin Flash official stock firmware/rom for your phone.
Best place to find and download the official and specific stock firmware/rom for your phone is:
http://SamMobile.com .
Good luck!
Ok I've recovered and can boot into stock rom. However now I cant flash any custom roms after rooting and flashing CWM again. It says "This package is for 'jfltexx' devices; this is a 'jflte.' My device is an unbranded i9505 international, I bought it unlocked and can use any provider. How do I fix this error?
I've tried multiple roms already.
Just flash a different kernel the same thing happened to me when I flashed an at&t kernel.

Help w/possible bricked G2!

Folks,
I gave my rooted (mahdi rom) ATT G2 to my teenage son seeing I was no longer using it. He said he tried to update the Mahdi ROM and now it is bricked. From my questioning him all I know is when he was installing the mahdi update, but he did not flash the D800 patch. Noticing there was a problem I think he tried to re-flash recovery or something. All he would get is "fastboot mode".
I think I am a pretty smart guy and have been on XDA for years flashing and what not with no issues - but this one has me stumped. These are the steps I have taken:
1) Finally got it into download mode and when I try to flash the tot file for ATT, it says incorrect model. Says the model is the D801 (t-mobile)! I was like what?
2) So I tried to flash the D801 tot and it seemed to work, but the flash would ultimately "Fail" in the LG Flash Tool. It would boot up into the t-mobile rom but I would get errors and reboots - very unstable. AND the IMEI was wiped!
Does anyone have any ideas what I can try next? I would like to somehow change the model back to the D800 and flash the ATT tot file. Maybe it is truly just bricked!?!?
Any help would appreciated! Thanks!

if you can successfully root device with towelroot(best choice since it is not device specific) then your best bet is to copy d800 build.prop(or to play it safe edit the build.prop model number from LG-D801 to LG-D800) into system/ give it rw-r--r-- pemissions and reboot into download mode, it should say you have d800 and you should be able to flash back to d800 tot(might want to be using d800 dll that ignores model check too just in case)

[Q] Bricked D802, only download mode.

I tried to go back to 4.4.2 from stock Lollipop. I flashed LGG2 -droidth-fixed-KK-partition.zip before flashing the other rom and I got bootloop without recovery... Only download mode. Installing a stock firmware from LG Mobile Support Tool doesnt work - It gets some error. What can I do?
EDIT: Fixed it using this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
The thread can be deleted.

A D801 with D802 stock rom installed, would like to restore to the Stock D801, Help.

brought a faked d802 from internet, as this is actually D801 (opened back cover and checked the motherboard to confirmed), it has been installed the D802 stock rom.
Below is problems may related this incompatible rom installed.
It can't do hard rest, stuck at "fastboot"
It can't install custom recovery using "TWRP installer", been told successful, but can't reboot to recovery.
Download mode shows, but seems not working, as I tried to restore D801 following this instruction, but can't communicate with this phone.
Can't update software from phone settings, met phone not register error
Seems IMEI isn't recognized by LG as well. But I can use it to callin and out.
It had SuperSu installed, seems working well.
What I m thinking is how to flash this phone to the proper d801 stock rom?
Thanks for any advice.

Maybe go back to a stock ROM and start over? This thread may be helpful in getting back to stock: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
The thread helped me go from Cloudy 3.2 to stock MM on a d802.

Right so I'm facing two problems with going back to stock method:
1) as i said, the phone won't boot up on flashing ANY version of d802 firmware (I've observed that in lg flash tool, where you flash tot files, shows that the phone's model number is d802at. So I'll try flashing a d802at fw for the last time and see if it works)
2) i try to flash an ls980 fw, the flash tool gives a model number error. (If flashing d802at fw doesn't work, then i guess i have to modify the hex data in the ls980zve.tot file and force flash it on the phone)
I'll give you an update after something has happened.
@ audit13 it is work!!! Thanks for your help! And I have one last question, I still have root acces and TWRP installed?
Glad it worked
You should be back to stock recovery and no root.
