Hi just wondering if anyone else has had a issue with the battery suddenly having reduced charge. Over the last few days my wife has been complaining about her phone discharging in only a few hours. I thought an app might be causing it but I've looked and can't find anything that would cause wakelocks. Now she's complaining that the phone has shutdown after showing a 70-80% charge and then when it started back up was nearly empty. Has anyone else experienced this or can recommend a possible fix please? I'm going to try a factory reset when I get home from work but would appreciate any advise.

Hey everyone I have a stock Nexus 4 that was previously rooted but went back to normal and something really weird happened. my battery went from like 80% to 8% not sure if there is something wrong or just a glitch but anyone have any ideas or suggestions to correct this issue

Likely just a glitch. If the phone works fine just chalk it up to that.

Hi,
Anyone know if this is solvable issue or anyone has any experience or ideas what's going on with my phone? My phone shuts down randomly and when i turn it on after few seconds, it has appx 5-10% less battery then before!! it has happened 3 times in last 10 days already.. And really frustrating..
I don't have any shady apps and using stock 4.3 so no rooting as well..

Try downloading 'BetterBatteryStats' from XDA, and 'Wakelock Detector'. Both of these apps can help you pinpoint what is draining your battery. With 4.3 I found that I had a kernel wakelock issue that was fixed by keeping wifi on. Best of luck!
See pics below. I noticed that my phone is always awake.
I have tried gsam battery and it offers no inclination as to what is causing it.
I have turned off all location settings. But she still stays awake. I don't think my battery life is bad, but I have ocd and know it isn't right. Any ideas? If I reboot phone it will act normally until at some point phone again stays awake.
In below example my screen on time is 1.5 hours.

One of your apps is causing it
Bummer. Can't root (Verizon) so hard to tell which one.
Nothing in the battery stats is abnormal and the phone didn't wake up a lot yet I lost a ton of battery overnight. How do I find what caused it? Also is their anyway to tell if I have a defective battery? A lot of people here and at /r/motox seem to be getting better battery life. I can barely get 3 hours of sot over 10 or so hours. I really want to keep this phone but if this is going to be normal then I might as well go back to the Note 4.

Try to disable wi-fi scanning, turn on smart power and update your software. Which model are you using?
Try calibrate battery - there is a few app with root on play store
Less coffee for your device.
