G-Flex Rom on Sprint G2? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Will there be a G-Flex rom for us Sprint users on the G2? Or maybe more support for sprint g2? Ive looked in all the g2 forums and sprint has less support than the rest.

[Q] What category does the Bell G2 fall under?

I for some reason had a momentary lapse in judgement, renewed my contract and got a GD iPhone 5s. I'm exchanging it ASAP and the only appealing device to me is the G2. I'm with Bell mobility in Canada, which one would it be? it's the D803.

I'd exchange my G2 with you! j/k.
I think you may have answered your own question though, it is a D803 and is separate from most of the US variants (D802). It's also physically different with the Verizon LG G2 that has differently sized buttons.

So essentially don't get it because there's nothing for it?
Here are the model breakdowns
D800 - AT&T
D801 - T-Mobile
D802 - International
D803 - Canadian
Technically the D800 and D803 are the same physically. The software will be a little different as one has been tweaked by AT&T (D800) and the other has been tweaked by Bell (although I haven't found any Bell apps on my G2).
Therefore, most ROMs designed for the D800 will work with Bell's D803, although there maybe some bugs. Just check thoroughly in the ROM thread before committing to installing the ROM.

G2 hasn't been available for a full month yet. Have some patience and respect for the devs. Your implied sense of entitlement for custom ROMs is showing.

[Q] Lg G2 cross compatible?

Like the htc one and gs4 is the lg g2 cross compatible between roms? Or which ever carrier brand you have is just strictly for that phone. I will be getting a tmobile lg g2 but worried as there is not much going on in the tmobile forums of the phone.
nope they are not

[Q] Lost Phone, Can I use Sprint LG G2 On verizon?

I had a little too much fun on new years eve .. I set my Verizon LG G2 down on a table and apparently either I left it or it was stolen .. I probably left it hahaha..
Now i'm trying to get another one .. I really loved the phone...
I'm scouring eBay ..
I'm in a 2 year contract with verizon ..... but, I wanted to know ... Can I use a Sprint based LG G2 on the verizon network ? Will I still get verizon LTE ?
Same thing with T-mobile versions ? Can I get all the bands and function I did out of my verizon LG G2 ?
Thanks for the heads up guys.
I know that the Verizon one can use Sprint, but I am not sure about the other war around. I think the global one works on Verizon's LTE band, although I am not sure an that either. If you can afford it, get the Verizon model (VS980) off contract. You can check the bands and other specs on phone arena.
The T-Mobile one seems to share frequencies of Verizon's though.
Hope I helped.
Verizon and Sprint are CDMA carriers and run on compatible CDMA frequencies and technologies (1xRTT, EvDO) and both their branded phones can roam on/off each other's network for both voice and data.
Having said that, the fact that they're primarily CDMA carriers means that you cannot just bring a phone onto their respective networks. The ESN/MEID of the phone has to already be in their database for them to activate.
So, taking a Sprint LG G2 and walking into a Verizon store or calling Verizon to activate it will get you a big fat NO, and vice versa.
Is it technically possible? Of course.
Worth the effort/hassle? No.
T-Mobile is a GSM carrier, no CDMA, so that's out of the question, same with AT&T, or any GSM variant of the G2.
Get a Verizon LG G2. Just keep looking carefully and you'll find a good deal.
I got my Sprint LG G2 mint in box for 325, clean ESN, no funny business. Love it to bits.
You can use Sprint LG G2 on Tmobile, takes about 20 minutes

In response to this assessment I have to correct these "facts"
You CAN use Tmobile's network on Sprint LG G2 Variant. See Younggunners forum on Sprint-Tmobile rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639165
I am currently getting 4G speeds at around 14 mb on the down and 4 on the up, very workable.
I can attest that it works; I have also performed the flash on other sprint LG G2 LS980 Variants as well.
I am using Justin's rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639165&page=11,
It's an awesome stock experience!

I think you missed what he was saying. He was saying that the T-Mobile and ATT variants do not support any CDMA so they will not work at all. The sprint variant supports Verizon CDMA but verizon will not activate a sprint device on their network. In any case the sprint device does not support Verizon LTE bands. Even if Verizon activated a sprint g2 on their network it would be 3G only.

[Q] Verizon LG G2 on T-Mobile: 4G Only Stock ROM?

Hey Everyone. Currently I'm running on an S3 flashed to PagePlus. Family friend was kind enough to let me in on their T-Mobile plan. I would like to get a LG G2 and due to price, as many others, I was planning on an unlocked Verizon G2. So, now for my questions... I live in Dayton, OH half the year and Breckenridge, CO the other half. From the coverage map, I should get LTE. I understand that people have success getting 4G LTE by flashing the stock T-Mobile ROM and patching it with the Flex Patch. This is fine, but my ultimate question I couldn't seem to find an answer to anywhere; is it possible to flash other rom's (G3 rom's or CM or anything) and still get 4G LTE? My assumption is no, but before I buy a T-Mobile G2 for $50 more, I thought I'd ask. Sorry for the long post, and thank you in advance everyone!
Edit: Also, as long as I would get HSPA/HSPA+ with all other rom's, I would be EXTREMELY content! Would I have HSPA/HSPA+ on all other roms?
Anybody? Anything?

Looking to Buy g2 d800 vs d802

I'm looking for a new phone. Earlier I was considering galaxy s4 i9500 but I'm thinking of going for g2 as it has better community support However, I see international version d802 is about $50 costlier than us d800 version
Hardware wise I've compared they both seem same. So does it make sense to spend extra $50, as I see the ROMs support all the variants ? Is there anything I'm missing out ?
Also, is LP 5.1.1 stable on g2 ? I'm specifically looking for CM based roms
well bump?
