I might be missing it but has anyone posted instructions on how to get chainfire3d working on the of (is it even possible). Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'm still rather new to the android scene in general let alone the aneroid mod scene. Thanks in advance

I am currently running twa-priv's ...0925 ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778010) and there are several apps, including amazon app store that don't recognize my kindle fire as a kindle fire.
Is there any way to fix this?

Most/all of the nook hd and hd+ stuff is over in the nook color forum btw
how to get perm root, sideloading, installing gapps, showing a proof of concept cm10 etc etc is all over there (unless xda gave them a forum)
bootloader is easy to unlock on the hd/hd+

Please remove reference to NT a this is the Nook HD/HD+. People may mistake this for the Nook Tablet 7 inch.

How many HD/+ threads do we have to have cluttering up the NC section?
my aim was to make this the main one since it is funneling the Nook HD users
and LOL they are not bothering us Nook Tablet users yet xD

I am new to this site but have been doing kindle rooting and general mods for a year or two now
I after losing my root I couldn't find a new one for the 10.5.0 user version so I made one myself I will be uploading tomorrow after finishing touches are done
Please note: the script I made the files I didn't create I would credit the developer but I don't know they are
It has been tested on kindle Fire 1 st gen and Fire HD
Other gens please use at your own risk

You might be in the wrong thread as the KF1 stock firmware only goes up to 6.3.3. You probably have a KF2 which looks the same. The KF2, HD, and HD 8.9 thread's here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hd
I'd suggest searching there before posting.
Yeah I just figured that out today I have a kindle fire 2nd gen, they look completely the same. I need to delete this thread as I no longer have a pc
