I bought Gionee Elife e7 for 2 weeks and after searching hours I haven't found how to root it.
Can someone tell me how please??
And I have lots of chinese apps, is it possible to remove them?

Try srsroot or motochopper to root. Ur phone..

thanks but I found a way to root my gionee e7. It's with Vroot. But now the phone is very very slow!!!
Do you know why? Can I fix this??

I have the same problem with mine gionee e7..

You can fix the problem if you unroot. I fixed the problem but no root !!
Send me your mail in mp if i find something i'll tell you.

I'm able to root the phone with Vroot but it becomes very slow! I had to unroot it.
All other methods cannot be tested because I need the USB driver from the phone. But impossible to find them.
I search all the web but no way to found these drivers!!!
I found a lot of drivers but it is for MTK version.
Please if anyone knows where I can find these drivers tell me.

coz it worked on nexus 5 which has same processor and same ram

Hello, just got as a present Lenovo a1000 phone with android 5.0
First thing I'm trying to see if it can be upgraded to 6.0
I found a number of links that claim to be rewritten instructions from xda-developer forum. But the download links look like a scam. Need to complete serveys to download files and ask for phone number, etc. So I can't get to downloading these files. Searching for one hour in the forums, I can't find any posts with information about a1000 phone let alone marshmallow upgrade.
So my question is if there's any hope for marshmallow on Lenovo mobile phone a1000? If so how do I get to the ROM?

Update: I can't leave a comment on the sites. Sounds like actual scam.. I guess lollipop wins.. Good at least phone looks more usable than other lenovo phones I've seen. Time will tell.
Update 2: I have managed to download the files by using a US mirror. They are completely different thing than promised. Some windows programs. So it is a SCAM. There is to date no marchmallow firmware for a1000. If you don't find a reputable source, don't click on the advertisings so the pastards don't win.

Sadly there aren't marshmallow roms the only custom rom i found was this lollipop rom http://www.needrom.com/download/lenovo-a1000-custom-rom-aosp-lolipop-stable/

has anyone finally flashed any Custom ROM into Lenovo A1000?
I am looking everywhere I can, but it seems as if there is nothing so far for this phone - not even TWRP is supported...
I was able to root it via KingRoot but other than that, it seems as if there's nothing else you can do...

Just gave up there is no custom ROM I search so many times but nothing i get a1000 looks great with lollipop
