Hi guys,
I'm looking for an determinated rom for my Galaxy S4. I dont know if it exists, but i'm going to describe you what I want.
I look for a custom ROM who is "cleaned" of stupid apps of Samsung but which has the specific things of Galaxy S4 like Smart Scroll, made a Screenshot with my hand, Air View, Air Gesture etc but with an improved battery, a faster RAM etc . In summary, I want a Cyanogenmod or MIUI with the S4 characteristics.
Is it possible?

Its ur choice. Try and select sir. All XDA developers are very good :highfive:. OMEGA ROM is a stock rom modified too

I think in Phoenix ROM too but I dont know what's AROMA INSTALLER :/

In phone. It's for install the custom ROM. I'ts a installer menu, you select what u want install and what no :highfive:

I m making my own custom rom based on jpm and i want to add ClockWorkMod Recovery in my rom, i m not a developer but i think i can do it, please give me guideline, please help.
once the recovery is completely finished and apocalypse is released rudolf will give a tutorial i guess untill then try other things...gud luck
Nothing to do but wait for the moment. I asked the same question in the CWM thread.
I've had a look in the roms using it, but couldn't get it to run on my phone. There's probably some other step(s) you need to get it working.

Mumbozver will make an installer soon... But if you dont want to wait, use the Mumbozver JPM with the cwm as the base of your rom.

after searching a lot i found that there is no chance to do it now i havewto wait.
Please don't make a ROM, we have more than enough ROM-s that do exactly the same things.
Do I have to reflash gapps after every update for this ROM like paranoid? Thanks in advance!

yea, you have to flash the gapps after each update. well, you dont have to if you dont want the google apps. its your choice

the difference is a script that grabs you google apps and reinstalls them after flashing the update, thats all. its just that some chose to add it, others dont.

Oh and by the way, since I didn't have time, I couldn't really test it extensively, so please download, install and post results or bugs of any kind.

That would be great, but I'd be asking for way too much as the LG UI apps are way too different looking (and better looking ) I may have time to do them soon

I don't know what is compatible for your device. I don't think there is anything compatible. You could try flash a couple firmwares to see but make sure to have a backup in case it doesnt work
See the problem is the Chinese version of j5 is not a popular device at all so the support is minimal.

OK, gonna try to port for you a ViperOS ROM, these are the smoothest, remember I don't own the device, do a backup before flashing, first of all, give me a day or two to find a good kernel.
PS: camera is my priority, gonna try to fix it first

No result, buddy, sorry for making you wait, I've got a J5108 from a girl, anyway, tried flashing the ROM, tried kernel after Kernel, I tried modifying the Kernel, no result... Time to move on to a different phone if you want some custom ROMs...
