I have on my Nexus 7 (2012) the latest stock rom installed (4.4.2).
I was excited about the new android style....
BUT i dont have the status bar and the touch buttons down with the new transparent kitkat style.
It looks on my screen like the stock Versions before....black backround.
Question is: How do I get the transparent kitkat style without installing any launcher???
On the picture you can see how my start screen looks like.....no style kitkat.....also the app button and the font....
So looks my screen like after reset the tablet to factory state.

Just got an update to XXUBMF8 on my i9505. Before the update (I believe it was XXUAMDE) my status bar was transparent with both stock and non-stock wallpapers. Now it's black with both stock and non-stock wallpapers. I tried installing Nova launcher as suggested by some and turning the bar transparency option on but no change whatsoever. I did some reading and some people had the same problem but just with non-stock wallpapers.
I am perfectly happy with TouchWIZ and everything I just want this damn ugly black bar to be gone or semi-transparent. Not sure if it was some ingenious idea of Samsung's programmers or it's just some bug affecting certain number of phones. Would flashing my phone to the latest XXUBMGA help? Any other solution? If there is any other option, I'd prefer not to flash any mods for now.

I'm currently using the touchwiz rom on galaxy S4 GT-i9505 ((I9505XXUFNC4 on KitKat 4.4.2) and don't want to change it or change the launcher, but i'd like to have stock appearance on all menus and icons on my S4 (dial, toggle bar, and configuration menu).
My phone is rooted and have a TWRP recovery. I use xposed installer with quicksettingstoggles and wanam exposed, but only few things can be changed on interface (color of toggle bar for example).
If somebody know how to do that, it will be cool

Is there any other way to resize the Nav Bar and Status bar?
At the moment i use Xposed Framework with App Settings Module, but its a little bit buggy.
you would want the hybrid settings which is last on jellybean, you will have to use xposed,
I want to move the status bar to the bottom of the screen like in tablet mode. What is the best way for me to achieve this?
Can you suggest a rom, xposed module or any other way of achieving the notification bar and status bar in the bottom?
as far as i know, all the roms and xposed modules removed the tablet ui feature after the kit kat update. I believe the screenshot attached is Cyanogen mod 7 but i'm not entirely sure. how can I replicate that on a LG G2 LS980 with stock kit kat 4.4.2.
Hey guys my phone is rooted. I need to change that ugly green colored status bar of my lenovo. Is there a way to do it without xposed. I need that stock lollipop notification bar please. Currently I am on stock 5.0.1 rom.
