Can't SBF back to stock with RSD v6.1.5 - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am trying to get back to stock with the VRZ_XT907_9.8.1Q-94-1_CFC.xml and keep getting failure, even after deleting the "getvar" lines, any help would be appreciated. Any ideas? I was on the latest firmware.

Did you do md5 ck?

If I try to boot normally, i go straight to the "Rage M" Screen and sit there. Checking MD5 now.
MD5 checks out OK

I think you must do it from a "free" folder!!!!
The xml & all files must be in a "extracted" folder

I think I bricked my NS

I was flashing CM7. This is what I did:
Rooted, ClockworkMod v3.0.0.5 from Rom Manager.
From recovery did a BackUp (seems useless because it doesn't do anything.)
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe Cache partition
Install zip from sdcard - selected cm7 - got a Status Error 7
Now the phone won't boot, stays on the Google screen, I can get into the recovery though.
Any ideas? I am downloading the Stock 2.3.3 image.
Thanks!

I tried doing that from ClockworkMod, gave me an error, it was a ridiculously small file, doesn't seem like a backup.
Even the stock gives me a Status Error 7.

I think your problem is because you are using the clockwork mod for I9020, where as for rogers you should be using clockwork for i9023 -- at least this was my case, I have i9020a rogers
you can get it from this link 2nd file.
after using this one you shouldn't be getting "E: can't mount cache" and you shall be able to repeat rooting/flashing steps.

Judging by the experiences of others in the thread so far, don't expect to be able to flash this over 4.4.4 without ending up in a boot-loop; so just backup your data and use the factory image.

Just completed flashing System Image.
Initially Stuck at boot animation for 5 minutes.
Powered off tablet by holding power button. and powered on successfully booted
Installing apps now. but i am seeing some lags even when accessing play store
Just used the flash-all.bat through fastboot and it worked perfectly. If you dont have the PATH variables set up it wont work but the commands you need if you place the bootloader.img and the image.zip in your platform-tools folder are:
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-flo-flo-04.02.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot -w update image-razor-lpv79.zip
Took awhile to start up but it was all fine. running it through the paces now.
This will wipe userdata as well, just as an FYI.

After diing restart to my phone I saw it not working it say to my
custom binary blocked by frp

What I can do
Are you rooted? If not I think a factory reset is the only way. You should have added the new account and THEN deleted the old accounts, you've tripped the OEM lock.

No... !!!
In that case a factory reset is your only option? As said, you tripped the OEM lock, which will happen automatically if you haven't disabled it and you remove all google accounts without adding another.
You'll be fine after a reset. If you want to disable the lock it's in settings>developer options.

No i deleted olde account after that I created a new account on my phone after created a new account I did restart my phone and got frp lock
I meant there a new account in my phone
If that can help to fix frp lock without factory reset it will be good
If not, how I can do factory reset
Actually my phone not opening after press power button I got frp lock
Help
Thank you
That's exactly why you're locked! You deleted the old account first. Then the phone sees no valid google account is present and so locks. You must add the new account first and then delete the old one if you want to use a new account.
Factory reset - reboot into recovery, which is Volume up+ power+home buttons simultaneously. Wait a minute and scroll to wipe data/factory reset. Unfortunately you'll lose everything you've added (photos etc).

I think what you need is full factory image. recovery are meant to flash recovery software under recovery partition. Android smartphone don't just have a few partitions. Say if you flash TWRP to the wrong partition, then you may need to flash factory image to the phone and start over.

Hi,
I also bricked my phone. I did have some problems to get into Qualcom 9008 EDL mode. You get into this mode by booting the phone with all buttons (vol +, vol - and power) pressed. Now according this thread:
http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick...-you-have-the-right-kind-of-rom-qhsusb_dload/
withh the xiaomi flash tool is poteitally also able to flash this phone. So I downloaded the newest Xiaomi flash tool and the le pro 3 firmware LE_ZL1_LEX720-CN-5.8.017S.zip. However I now ran out of luck. The tool comlains about a hello packet not received from the phone.
Did you already have some more luck with flashing he phone?

S7 Edge Boots into Flat ORANGE Screen. [Help]

I wanted to install xposed framework on my S7 edge but it failed due to some reason about not being able to mount/system or something. To fix that, i reformatted my /system and /data to FAT from TWRP. part way through reformatting /data, it froze and i restarted my phone, now it was unable to boot into recovery. I then attempted to reinstall the stock rom from ODIN and now it boots straight into a flat orange screen. Within this screen, i can hear the change in volume when i press the volume buttons, the LED on my phone is on (blue) and i can turn the screen on and off with the power button. It seems like a normal functioning phone, just with an orange screen that wont change.
If anyone can help me fix this problem i would really appreciate it, any help is valuable and if you need anything that im able to provide, i will.
Thanks.
Edit: I can sometimes get it into download mode and the TWRP screen loads, but then nothing happens.
I may not be able to fix your problem but I am curious, why would you format to FAT when the standard filesystem used is ext4?

I watched a video and it said to do it, yes, it was a bad idea.
What i have done was reinstall TWRP and it works now. Still orange screen. Where do i go from here?
Why on earth did you format to FAT? Android/data, /system and /boot are EXT4. /sd card is FAT.
Think you'll have to reflash stock firmware with Odin, assuming you can still get into download mode. Your non-external sd card data is probably history though.

And you've extracted the necessary .tar etc files from the stock FW? I'm assuming you are very new to this, just making sure you're covering everything. And please describe exactly what happened when you tried to flash Xposed. Which version, installer etc. A screenshots of your Odin fail would be helpful too.

I found the optus version. Is there any reason to download that over the standard one?
OK. We'll sort this out! I'm no expert, but I've made every f-up possible with Odin/TWRP, so I'm an expert at rectifying my mistakes...
Off out for lunch, back in 2 hours. Hopefully you'll be fixed by then but I'll check. One other thing in Odin - in options, check "F-reset time" but NOTHING ELSE.

Don't think so, but I've never been carrier locked. I'd use it just to get up and running again, you can always flash something else later.

I reinstall the stock firmware and currently it is installing applications. Looks like it is going to be fine. Next step is to make a backup and install xposed.
