anyone have a solution?

If you still get on the recovery you just need to reinstall a rom

You can try just flash a kernel first, maybe it will boot. Depends what happened. If that doesnt work then install a rom.
Sent from my LG-G2 using Tapatalk

That won't work. Read the threads titled, "I just bricked my phone" or "I just tooj an ota and can't boot" the instructions on how to fix are everywhere on this site

Try resetting the unit to Stock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Unless you're using twrp 2.6.3.3 it will take 10 minutes to format cache, it's a bug in all versions aside from the one I stated.

Got The Update. Won't IUnstall Due to Custom recovery

New update this morning and of course it won't install with TWRP recovery onboard.
For the life of me I can't find a method that actually gets me stock tar files to unroot and return to custom recovery.
Have all the links turned to nothing but advertising?
Hey before you install a custom recovery can you do the community a favor and pull the update zip from your phone? Then upload it to some hosting site that way others like myself can update manually.

And the tar MK2 file in dev section works fine. I just unroofed yesterday to get ready for the new update.

Um yea, that's great. And it's possible.
HOWEVER as @daniel4653 mentioned " would you do the community a favor and pull the update zip from your phone?".
If you install before doing that you'll lose that ability.
But of course if you just want help but don't want to contribute, well I guess that's okay. Just remember XDA is all about community.
Can you please post the file name of the update OTA file.
I didn't find it in the threads but ........... did someone pull the OTA "update.zip" from the phone? I would love to do this manually to the wife's S4 .......

4.4.3 is coming this month, it's mostly bug fixes.
You should be more excited for 4.5 (Lollipop) which is coming this year.
Looks good. But I'm also curious about this Lollipop mentioned. Confirmed?

Build.prop edit?
Sorry guys. Have been super busy. I'll be going out of town soon for a while. When I get back I'll give a try.
I'll keep ya posted.
So, if you're rooted, you won't get the update? I got 4.4.2 while rooted.

Huh? First I've heard of it. I got mine with 4.3 and the 4.4.2 update came like a day later and I updated while un-rooted. But I know that it won't work if your rooted.

rooting alone has nothing to do with getting, or not getting updates.
I went from 4.3 to 4.4.2 rooted, and everything.
What matters is things like /system changes, recovery, and sometimes kernel (if it changes).
And even recovery is not really an issue (at least with twrp), you just boot into twrp, find the ota update in /cache, and manually flash it, clear caches, reboot, easy peasy.
As for /system changes, just flash a stock system.img, get the update, and you're golden.
Or you can just wait till someone releases a flashable 4.4.3 and use it.

Exactly what he said!
If it's not a build.prop edit, it's very curious and interesting. Maybe can you dump your ROM and upload it for inspection ?
It's a DEB device, so it sounds great
Thanks

Any chance you might flash the 4.4.2 factory image, then grab the 4.4.3 update again and pull the update URL from the logcat so we can all enjoy?

My Fastboot Isn't Working Any IDEA?!

Hey guyz
My LG G2 Device is recently hard bricked
and I am stuck at fastboot
but it is not fully working
If I type fastboot devices I get
"? fastboot"
then I tried fastboot reboot n I get
"rebooting..."
But nothing actually happens and phone never reboots :\
Any IDEA Any ONE ?!
Do you know the exact model of your phone. Please check before you continue because toy can further brick your phone if you do not flash the right stuff. Also it would be helpful to know what ROM you were running previously. KitKat or lollipop?

Oh. One last thing, make sure your battery ribbon cable is disconnected and USB is connected to the computer when you are shorting the pins. Also, make sure every connector is connected otherwise you will risk break your screen.

Yeah I was able to get in qhusb_bulk mode and in windows 8.1 64bit it was showing lots of disks asking to be formatted.
Then I installed ubuntu on virtual machine and tried to flash images with dd command and those were successful. I unpluged the usb and put the buttons plate back and restarted the phone but still no download mode. I even flashed twrp recovery but NOTHING!
and something that i noticed today that my phones motherboard is once changed and its d801 tmobile and not d800 :\
and something about my ubuntu, on virtual machine it recognizes the phone but disconnect/reconnects after 10secs automatically.
How can I use SRK Tool?
And I have to add In my device manager it shows qhsusub_bulk with a yellow icon meaning its not recognized Is that a problem? do i have to find drivers?
Download these drivers for qualcomm it will change it to qualcomm ... 9006 mode instead of QHSUSBBULK. http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...8&d=1308601930
