certified for both Z1 and Z ultra could mean it will be released, if it was just for test, it would have been certified for one device.
waiting for White-Balance app once again
Someone said newer build will be released between 16 and 20 Jan.
Just waiting for white balance and reducr distortion when listening music with bluetooth headset.

According to xperiablog there's no 4k,tap2wake,smart call handling in the build. That's really upsetting. At least they could've given tap2wake...
if they give us all the new features of the z2 then there is no reason to upgrade. i dont expect anything special from the kitkat update

If they did this ppl wont buy the z2. But xda is always here to make the best out of our phones.

I just wanted tap2wake, thr rest could be easily ported . Even my tablet z has that feature

why???
It's normal behavior, in fact it makes no sense to wait long for "nothing"... but now as many have said the failure to implement all the features of z2 with an update is linked to the interests of the company ... who would rise from z1 to z2 if you can get the same thing at a lower price?
And this is the main problem of the technology, not only of Sony

Nowhere in the sourced thread does it mention the update is rolling out. Unless I missed something, only the random HK/Chinese user that got it is mentioned.

even tape2wake can be ported but i think u might need to unlock BL
i had it on my xperia z
for me all what matters is that our developers gets the new kernel as hopefully it will increase our device performance !

I am certainly not gonna find excuses for Sony's despicable behaviour. Z1 is only 6 months old, it should be fully supported and get all the new features it can handle. We helped Sony become more relevant in the mobile market and that's how they reward their customers? They really expect us to pay 600$ twice a year if we want a decent update? That's just dishonest! Shame on you Sony!!!
I just want kit kat and its default kit kat features, tap 2 wake and maybe if I'm lucky the abilty to display the homescreen wallpaper on the lockscreen so i can have Muzei LW on both

hi guys after flashing 233
install mostwanted &gaming i see my phone back is very very hot then install tempmonitor programs 77°C
i edited sysmon.cfg then replace & working good. maximum temp is 63°C
download/extract & replace to system/etc set promission 644

I would like to know too. Im on .230. My back glass is getting hot as hell, and the battery began to suffer disfunction. When the phone is hot, the battery drainks a lot and it isnt able to charge, even directly plugged to the wall.

Well Z2 and Z3 are kinda similar to eachother so it works. Do some research before say something like that, i am just not a simple member.

yes i used ethyl alchol too, but seems that the aluminium is scratched, but it has been always in the tpu cover! my brother told me that he never pull it off neither to clean it
