[GAPPS][AROMA] Original Gapps for CM AROMA Installer - Android Software Development

DISCLAIMER:

TO YOU OR YOUR PHONE AS A RESULT OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS THREAD.
Presenting the GAPPS AROMA Installer for Cyanogenmod 10/11.
I was unable to find an aroma package for cm gapps version 08 Dec 2013 so here's my uploaded gapps collection.
This package does not contain (or exclude) anything that was not provided in the original gapps package from the cm team found
here.
Description:
Pick and choose which Gapps you want to install.
Important Info!! Read before proceeding!:
- If you have never uninstalled system apps before, this is not for you!!!
- The installer simply allows you to customize what goes into your "/system/app" folder
(and "/system/priv-app/" for kitkat)..
- Everything else will be installed in it's original fashion (i.e. everything else in "/system/").
- Be mindful of what you pick and choose as many combinations can lead to a non-functional ROM.
You and ONLY you are responsible for what you do or don't choose.
- Installing GApps but not it's 'Setup Wizard' causes several cm ROM functions to disappear (Quick settings panel items, Power menu items, etc.).
- Tested extensively on my GT-I9300 running CWM 6.0.4.4 and cyanogenmod 10.1.3/10.2.0/11.
In the event that I missed something, please report it.
- Suggestions/Bug reports are welcome. However keep in mind that my programming skills are
about as good as a wet turd.
Installation:
1. Flash like you would any other .zip file via CWM.

I am trying to install on ASUS T100, no windows. I get usb stick made and it just boots to GNU GRUB grub> command line. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Gary
I'm guessing this breaks OTA of official phoenix OS, but do let me know if my assumption is incorrect

I'm not entirely sure of this, but it could possibly have broken the ability to update via OTA.
It would make sense that OTA Updates won't work due to foreign files (SU, CM APPS) in the system partition.
Does it replace win bootloader with grub?

gapps config for stock open gapps

When i install open stock gapps for android 7 then process will ended with error 70, i found 2 solutions, first is by increase system partitions and second is by using gapps config, can somebody tell me the procedure of gapps config for our device
Creating a gapps config is based on personal likes,a lonfg articles is available here
You can create one using aroma gapps ,select options you want and then save your preferences. On boot you can edit that file to be use as your gapps config for future uses.

Question about Open G-Apps

If I install Android and the Android already contains some of Google Apps and then I install an Opengapps.zip from the Opengapps contains these programs you will have trouble with these programs
Or is the Opengapps won't install programs that already exist
As far as I know, the OpenGApps install script removes already installed GApps first and then installs the new GApps included in the Opengapps.zip

Prerequisites for Installation
- Must have an unlocked bootloader
- Update TWRP to Android-7.1 builds located here. Please make sure to use the recovery image which is appropriate for your device (Thor or Apollo).
Fresh Installation
- Backup your existing ROM first
- Wipe the /data partition (but you can keep the media storage)
- Flash the ROM File
- Flash Open Gapps: use an ARM 7.1 version smaller than the "full" size to make sure it fits
- Reboot
- Enjoy!
LineageOS-eXtended Downloads
LineageOS Builds for Thor (ggow)
LineageOS Builds for Apollo (ggow)
Gapps
- Open Gapps (use a size smaller than "Full" to make sure it fits)
NOTE: Here's what I do to solve the "Play Games" side load issue... Anytime I update my GApps zip file:
- I download the "full" and "mini" versions of GApps
- Extract the "GApps/playgames-arm.tar.lz" file from the "full" file and add it to the "GApps" folder of the "mini" file.
- Open the installer.sh script in the "mini" file and move the "playgames" line from the full_gapps_list= section into the mini_gapps_list= section
- I use this modified "mini" .zip when flashing CM-14.1 ROMs so that my Play Games install always works.

[11] [GSI] [OFFICIAL] AOSP Q Mod //CAOS

C A O S(Note, I did not make this rom. This is a Generic System Image (GSI) made by Caos' devs. so it is not specifically built for the A51, but it's really stable and I am using it now. ALL CREDIT GOES TO CAOS' DEVS!)
Your warranty is now void! We're not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Pleasedo some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROMbefore flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and ifyou point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you
CAOS (Custom AOSP OS) is a project which is based on @phhusson's Treble GSI AOSP 10. CAOS' devs began it because ASOP has stability, speed and support but also some issues and limitations - pure AOSP's code has some bugs and it doesn't have much useful things and it's hard to pull it. So CAOS' devs did this fork. System can run with SELinux enforced state, as an original Phh AOSP GSI. Fully compatible with PHH-Treble patches exclude few low level changes: no root app, no "su" binary in system; by default exist file /system/phh/secure (for Google Certification PASS), so if you can boot AOSP GSI, but can't boot CAOS - try to removing that file
UPDATE VERSION
latest build: 2020.10.29
treble patches: v222+
SPL: 5 Oct 2020
File Downloads/InstallationTHINGS THAT YOU NEED ON YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER.
Odin
Unzip the file. There is a EXE file in it. Double click it to launch. There will be a pop up, just press ok.
FILES THAT YOU NEED TO FLASH THE ROM.The rom itself
Make sure you have 7-zip installed. Right click it and click extract files. Go into the unzipped folder and rename the file inside to "system.img"
TWRP Decrypter
Just leave this file as a zip. Don't unzip it.
ChonDoe Flasher
Just leave this file as a zip, Don't unzip it.
INSTALL RECOVERY AND UNLOCK BOOTLOADER (SKIP THIS PART IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TWRP.)I have made a reddit post on twrp. DO NOT DO THE MAGISK PART.
FLASHING THE FILESGo into TWRP. Press wipe and go into format data. Type in yes and wipe your data. Press the home button in your nav bar and go back into Wipe. Press advanced wipe, tick "data", "Dalvik / ART cache" and "Cache". Format it.
Press the home button in the nav bar again. Now, go into reboot and click recovery. Don't do anything. Once it's back into TWRP, plug your phone into the pc if you haven't already.
On your Windows PC, go into File Explorer, This PC, A515F and then internal storage. Take the "system.img" file and drag it into there. Do the same with "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip" and "ChonDoe_Flasher.zip"
Once all of them are copied, go onto your phone. Click install and you should see your files. If you don't, go into /sdcard. Flash "ChonDoe_Flasher.zip". Once it's done, flash "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip". Press "Reboot System" once "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip" is installed.
If this looks really confusing to you, there is a tutorial for this. However, it's for HavocOS. But everything is the same except the rom. But the steps are the same. Watch it here.
Congrats! You have installed Caos!

KNOWN BUGS:
• excluding fixes, the same as on AOSP Quack (in some cases doesn't work: broadcasting on TV, calls via BT; offline charging does not work normally fingerprint doesnt work; problems with GPS etc etc)
NOTE: always test ROM first without Magisk (with clean boot ramdisk). and don't send me bug reports if you have:
a) Magisk installedb) modified/custom vendor or kernelc) dirty flashing rom without wiping data
