[Q] Nice looking status bar mod for any tw roms? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm looking for any nice/cool looking status bar mods for tw rom (I'm using omega v17). If u guys have any, please recommend me as I'm a bit tired with the stock looking status bar on tw rom.

Hi,
There are quite a lot of possibilities to customize your status bar ...
For example, 3minit framework, Xposed framework modules (Wanam, XBLAST, GravityBox .. etc..), Custom themes .... and .. and .....
All this can be found here .... http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/themes-apps

Install xposed then install tinted status bar. This allow the status bar to match the colour of the app your using. It blends in with the app. You can set the colours to whatever you like as well. I use it on my devices ala ios and PA.

Pull down quick launch icons...

Jus got my Nexus 4. So far I love it.
Coming from an S3 and a Note 2, I am very impressed. I would love to be able to add toggles to the drop down quick launcher. Can this be done without rooting and messing with Roms?
Thanks in advance.

need root or/and ROM that supports custom QS tile.

You need root access and a custom that supports that feature.

If you want to change tiles in your quick settings then you need root and a custom rom.. If you are talking about toggles in your notification bar then no you dont need rood, just an app.
^ Which app will rpovide toggles in notification area?
You dont need custom ROM, install Power Toggles https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc

That's not for the drop down menu. To have customizable toggles in the notification shade he'll need root and a custom ROM.

It seems to work in the notification shade as well.

What ROM?

I'm unsure what rom or tweak I can use, I really like multi window, air view, and the watchon app is pretty sweet as well. I was wondering if I can just download the apks and install them on a non TW rom.. I'm currently running SlimBean.
All I really want is my flashlight and hotspot in the notification bar with the other toggles without having to use an app like power toggles and taking up notification space.
Another thing I used often on my other phone is the volume keys to skip songs.

and i want pigs to fly
mate you got 2 choices either go with TW Rom or AOSP
none of samsung apps or features would work on it for either missing drivers etc... or touchwiz framework
anyway why not just theme touchwiz the way you want instead its the only way to have samsung feautures+Aosp look together
I don't much care about the theming, just that I have those two buttons on a touchwiz rom really

If your on MDL touchwiz build you can use xposed framework to set up volume skip mod ad well as setting up torch to run off long pressing the brightness icon beside the brightness bar in the notification center

I tried xposed, I'd rather have a button for it, does 3minit allow adding more buttons?

i would like this as well. all the taskbar mods (removing am/pm, etc) change it to black. it looks nice, but when i have the transparent nav and status bars, it makes the screen look a lot bigger, and i like that

I'm pretty sure it's possible with Paranoidandroid last time I used it. It's somewhere in the settings. Sorry.

Wow the looks incredible. Can u link to the rom? It's not the c-rom that's there in Android development.

You also can test different Xposed modules like Gravity Box, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316070
or XBlasttools http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294419 there you can change the battery icon color easily

Nav Bar on Stock Rooted TW Galaxy S7

I'd originally posted this in the Q&A Thread since it originally was a question - But now I've been able to figure it out.
This mod is something from AOSP Custom Roms and I wasn't sure if it would work on Stock Rooted TW Galaxy S7 - But it does ?
If you're interested - Nandroid your current setup BEFORE you do anything else!
Usually Root Explorer - System - Long Press on Build.prop - Open in text editor - scroll down to the bottom and enter:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
. Save & Exit - Reboot
Now you Need Substratum and SungStratum installed and Substratum Vivid Nav Bar Theme - SungStratum is a Paid app & Vivid Nav Bar I believe has a free version - But I like to support the Devs so I get the paid version whenever available.
Open Substratum and Select Vivid Nav Bar Theme and select the Nav Bar of your choice (I'm not sure if they all work) I chose Arms theme for the Nav Bar because I like it ?
This is what it looks like ?
