$50 off Wi-Fi versions of HDX 7 and HDX 8.9 today only! - Kindle Fire HDX 7" & 8.9" General

I received a link to get $50 off of the Wi-Fi Only version of the HDX 7 or 8.9 today because I'm an Amazon Reward Card member.
I successfully used it on the 32 GB 8.9" just now. It only works through today, though.
I did try calling Amazon and asked them if they could just put a $50 credit on my account since I received my current HDX 8.9 in the last 30 days, but they said they weren't authorized to go over $30. So, as soon as I get the new one, I'll put it in the old one's box and send it on back.
The code is "KIN50ARC" if you're interested in trying it out.

Thanks for the discount code but didn't work for me; perhaps because I am not a rewards card user (Prime member only). My wife's new Kindle Fire HDX being delivered tomorrow but I'd have returned it and ordered another for a $50 discount!

The coupon code is "KIN50ASC" and is on their site now. And apparently can be used on up to 3 eligible devices.

Looks like you can use either the Amazon visa card or the Amazon.com Store Card

Target Selling A500 $299 from Aug 14th...

Ooops too new to post links but check it out on androidpolice.com.
Same exact price as when I got it a month ago.
Actually, it's $399 and you also receive a $100 Target gift card according to the Target ad. It makes a little difference (or a lot ) depending upon how much you pay in sales tax in your locale.

The $100 really helped in getting my wife to let me get this. I've had a Viewsonic GTab for almost a year. Also we used the Target Red card and got another 5% off.

Walmart has the same deal too both online and in stores. I picked up one yesterday.
The Walmart gift card was much closer to cold hard cash for me since I can use it at their gas stations. Plus right now you get 10 off per gallon using a gift card.

I recently bought the 32GB from Costco. It was $429. I am considering a quick return for this model and the $100 gift card (Wal Mart).
This is my wifes toy and she uses it to play some games and browse facebook. I think 16GB should be sufficient?

I went today and they gave me 80 bucks back. I personally think Costco is a better deal since you get one more year of warranty, its double the memory and you have 90 days to return it. Also if you use an American express card you get another year of warranty (3 years total).

Just a heads up.... Best Buy is doing the same. I picked one up taday and got $100 gift card with purchase.
These are still coming with 3.01...
Who wants to save another 10$ ?
I just bought the A500 at walmart (through a friend) and now have the 100$ gift card.
I live in Germany therefore I can't use the gift card. I would sell it for 90$. I would recommend payment via paypal and shipping via email.
Is anybody interested? => please PM
Nobody interested??
New price: 85$

Was wondering why our local WalMart was stocking up on them, they've been trying to keep 20 or more out in the case for the last week..
Thank you for the heads up. I was just about to pull the trigger and get it from Amazon. I think $150 is a perfect deal for the kindle fire. Since I go to Wal-Mart often the gift card will get used for every day stuff.

Staples is sold out but you might still get the coupon for future use
Been looking around and not sure if this is the BEST deal but this is the best I could find.
First get this Staples coupon: (you pay $7.5 for $15 gift card)

Then Staples hasthe pre-order for the 16GB version with free shipping:

Once you add the order into the cart, you'll see it says expected delivery is 7/12-17. You can apply the gift card at the checkout for a net of $7.5 saving.

Just remember that if you have a Staples in your state you have to pay taxes.
This deal would still cost me about 270$
yea tax is the big killer.. but at least free shipping. too bad I missed out on the J&R deal someone else posted.
Staples' expected delivery date is interesting. Not sure if this implies delivery for all pre-orders or this is for Staples only.
Cool find, i would be buying a Nexus 7 since i no longer want android phones
We're so spoiled in Oregon, no Sales Tax and it's against the law for us to pump our own gas, we have to sit and let the attendants do it for us.
Thanks for the finds!
You really could have mentioned that it takes them 24 hours to generate the coupon code and it's not an instant ordeal.

Anyone pre-ordered Nexus 7 from Staples.com ?
I am seeing this in my order status.
We're sorry, but problems with your order may prevent us from delivering it on time.
That is probably because Google told everyone to wait until they said so
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
this last minute hold is messing up those vendor's check out process. The word is most places will start taking new per-order and shipping again next week.
Updated some free item coupon on 1st page you can use on your office depot order.
walmart is starting the pre-order as well with less than $1 shipping. see 1st post for details.
For those asking if you still get the $25 google wallet credit the answer is YES :good:
Staples is now taking orders on the website with 2 day delivery, you can also locate stores that have it in stock, but call the store first as the store I tried today said they weren't allowed to sell until next week (probably Monday) even though they have them in stock.
If "you" work for Walmart you can get 10% off, and you can pay when pickup at Walmart now s mabey preorder and pay when pickup at site to store

$50 Bestbuy gift card

Go here: http://tinyurl.com/d3eczlq by 2-9-13 to reserve your gift card. Activate a new phone between 2-10-13 & 12-31-13 to receive the gift card. Good in store or online.
Checked best buy website, they did what I expected. The note 2 price bumped up to $250 from $200 so the gift card offer is useless since amazon has it for $200 or less.
May still benefit other phones, I didn't check them.

That may be true, but how long can they keep these prices up for? They're bound to go down by the end of this year, which is fine since the promotion lasts that long.

If you signed up for the deal then call your local best buy and ask if they'll price match amazon wireless and give you the gift card. I just got off the phone with a store by me and they said I can get both. So I'll be picking up a note 2 next week on upgrade for $150+tax. Maybe less since the amazon price keeps changing. Its $69 right now for a new customer.

FYI Note 4 is on amazon for $199 2 year activations and renewals.

FYI if your looking.
Amazon has the note 4 for $199 on a new line or on a 2 year renewal.

I ordered one and just wanted to pass this on.

That could be a sweet deal. Bestbuy price matches and is offering a $50 break on sprint phones. $149 at bestbuy would probably be the best deal sround.
From what I understand best buy won't give you a gift card if they price match it.
But it's worth a shot and the BestBuy deal was today only.

I was lucky. When I went in to pre order in Oct BB was out of their allotment for pre order at $299 and a $200 gift card. Once the GN4 was released they of course had none. I checked the website several times a day and the very last day for the $200 gift card (nov 1st) in stock! So I ended up with one for $165 and change out the door. Whew. Luv'n this phone.
According to the website Amazon has it for $268.00 not $199.00
