Somebody has it in a softbrick thread all you have to do is use Odin and load tar file in PDA and start. Sorry don't know which exactly try googling it saw it while looking for faulty battery stuff
You haven't search much if you haven't found it.

4.3 on I337

Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T. It is on MF3. I have Safestrap installed. Now, I saw that others got the OTA update to 4.3, but mine says there is no update. Should I uninstall Safestrap and unroot to get the update? Or is there any problem because I'm not living in US? Thank you!
Your gonna need to Odin MF3 and than update, normally when you unroot it leaves some files behind and won't let the phone update.

[Q] how to remove root files after nb1 update

I was rooted on 4.3 and then I unrooted abd did it a update to nb1. Now when I try to use ISIS it says phone has been rooted. I know there is a work around but you have to be rooted for it. Is there a way I can remove whatever file ISIS is seeing that is making it think three phone is rooted when it's not.
Are you sure you're on NB1?If you're not, you will have to get pure stock 4.3 and flash via Odin

Yea I am on NB1, I was thinking of going back to MK2 doing a full unroot with removal of the backed up superuser. Then upgrading back to NB1. I will try it tonight to see if that will work.
You won't be able to downgrade to MK2

Unroot AT&T S4 with MF3

I am trying to unroot my AT&T Galaxy S4 back to stock so I can apply the OTA updates. Currently I am rooted and running MF3 and cannot apply any of the OTA updates, fails at 25%
So if I want to unroot do I Odin the MF3 tar files or would it be better to Odin back to the MDL version? Then I should be able to apply the updates?
Why don't you just Odin the nb1 tar files and forget the ota?

I thought about doing that but was not sure if it was possible since since I was rooted. Was afraid of bricking the phone. So if I Odin NB1, how do I unroot the phone? Do I need to do anything before flashing that tar file?

Just flash in Odin. It'll put the new firmware on and remove root. You don't have to unroot first
